After tonight, absolutely disgusted with ACR and poker. Not playing again until live tourney Fri night.

Lost a bunch of $10 spins by getting rivered. Then spun a 4x $40 and would have won $160 and BR would have been at $476 if I could have held this hand.

After this hand, I was pretty heated. I gained composure and said *** it, time to jump up to $200 PLO. Pickup this beautiful hand on the BTN and can't win it. If I won this hand, BR would have been at $516

Down another $200 quick. BR down to $113. So pissed, keep getting bent over and it's difficult for me to play small stakes cash games because the amounts are tilting. I will probably just play mainly micro tourneys for now.

I'm sick of spins after getting rivered and screwed. I'd much rather play cash and tourneys but I want to play cash with bigger amounts. I think I'm going to slow down with playing spins and just play them when I'm running good to take shots. What a ****ty night of poker. I guess the next step is to bink a tourney and get my BR back up so I can play bigger cash games. I was almost properly rolled to play $25 cash games stakes which is the minimum I need to play to feel like the amount is worth the time and effort.

I'm getting back on the horse tonight. I'm not going to play at all thursday and then live 12K GTD on Fri night. Going to play 1K GTD tonight and maybe some $25 PLO. Need to get the roll going back in the right direction

Was not on my A game at all tonight. Could feel it almost right away. Too tired from staying up late Mon & Tues night and getting only 4 and 5 hours of sleep. Going to bed early tonight.

When I'm not playing my best, I'm super undisciplined and loose aggressive and spew chips like an animal.

BR down to $89, and I'm actually lucky, it could be a lot worse. Well, it probably doesn't get much worse than being a flip away from $516 just less than 24 hours ago and now down to $89. Obviously 89 better than nothing but sucks from where I was. Shouldn't have played at all tonight, was too tired and son/wife pissed me off which made me tilt while I was playing. No poker for me tomorrow at all.

Will be playing live Fri night, 12K GTD

Well that was a fun journey. Didn't take long for me to blowout almost my whole BR. $9 left.

Played a $10 spin hit a 6x and lost because couldn't hold a flip. Then played two $40's and lost both. Done for night early. I know I said I was taking day off, but I just can't when I want to make more money so badly.

Playing 12K GTD tomorrow night.

Kind of got bored with Harrington's new tourney book, about 2/3's through it. Started reading Gus Hansen's book couple days ago and enjoying it a lot. Already have read about 150 pages.

So after some reflection, I am really disappointed with my discipline this week.

I preached to myself that this year I was going to really focus on being more disciplined. I only got to the gym on Tues night, (was supposed to go Thu night). And blew up my BR with horrid BR management.

So one of the first steps to being more disciplined is making rules for myself that I must follow.

In the stock market I used to really struggle with discipline as well until I made a bunch of rules for myself that I am required to follow almost always.

So I am going to re-load the account to $100 at some point this weekend and only play $3-$5 tournaments. I'm not going to play much cash until my BR is above $500 (where I can play $25 stakes).

I am going to have a rule for taking shots as well. I will post up my rules by the end of this weekend that should hopefully help keep me more disciplined.

If I let my discipline slip in one area of my life, it almost always leaks into other areas.

This week, I wasn't disciplined playing poker and then it leaked into my gym and workout schedule. And if I was trading it probably would have leaked into my trading as well.

So I'm really going to put an emphasis on discipline for myself moving forward. I was disciplined for a good two weeks almost, then relapsed.

So ya, I will make a bunch more rules for myself in poker and for BR management. My goal is to make this $100 deposit and hopefully never have to reload again.

Really what I am shooting for is to keep getting better playing small stakes online and then bink a live tourney. The 12K GTD usually pays about $4700 for 1st place. This would be an awesome starting roll that would then allow me to start playing 5/5 NLH cash.

Once I build my roll to 5-6K, I will pump about 1K into my online account so I can play bigger cash stakes that I feel better putting a lot of time into.

For now, I'm going to play mainly tourney's online and hopefully take one down so I can have a good enough roll to play cash. Also, online is good, cheap practice for the bigger live tourneys I will continue to play.

Overall, still feel good today and ready to run good in tonights 12K GTD ($60 buyin, $60 add-on/rebuy)

Also, I'm going to change up my gameplan a bit tonight.

Usually, I was playing really tight in the early stages. And I barely ever limp.

Given that so many people limp, I need to implement the limp more into my game.

The limpers barely ever fold so raising the limpers light isn't the best idea unless I'm on BTN or CO.

The last couple times I've played here, I've given myself a chance to run really deep and played well.

I'm going to still play tight, but I'm going to really open up my range tonight from BTN, CO and the blinds.

Going to really focus on loosening up in LP and continue to be aggressive and maybe more aggressive than I have been in the past.

Also, I've read a bunch of Gus Hansen's book and one of my big mistakes was I was barely ever calculating PF pot odds. I also like his idea of being the most aggressive when the ante to SB ratio is 3.

I understand how to calculate pot odds, but I never really thought about using pot odds PF when facing an open. So looking forward to making some adjustments in my game tonight and hopefully it will contribute to the W.

Last time I cashed a live tourney was end of DEC when I won my first ever live tournament. Feeling like my first of 2016 is right around the corner and am happy with the progress I have made thus far.

I only started up playing a lot mid November 2015. November 2015 was the first time I came back to the online seen since BF. And I have made so much progress since then. So I am going to continue to work hard and keep trying to climb the ladder.

I still want to be playing high stakes NLH and PLO live in LA in the near future. Looking forward to starting at 5/5 live and working my way up. I know that's coming this year and everything I am doing online is helping me improve much faster. 20K BR by end of 2016 =)

If I hadn't started playing online again, I would have never learned how awesome PLO is.

Thanks man!

So Friday night, I came in 38th, top 21 got paid. First place was 4900. Ran pretty well, but not good enough and came up short. Busted out with KQhh against AQo.

My strategy of opening up from CO and BTN definitely worked very well as everybody was playing super tight, especially towards the end of the tournament. I really thought it was going to be the night, got lucky a couple of times but still not enough. Was super frustrated that I came so close with nothing to show.

Last night, I re-loaded 100 into my ACR account. Played $10 spins and ran it up to $160 after spinning and winning two 4x's in a row. Jumped up to the 40's spun a 4x again on my first try ($160) which would have been awesome if I won. But I didn't. Had a couple tough hands I will post below. So I was back down to $120 and decided to take a shot at $100 PLO and busted my BR with a tough hand, I'm not sure I could ever get away from but maybe I'm completely wrong here.

So now, I am going to fire another $50 into my BR. This time my rule is going to be, I am only playing MTT's and $2 spins. Once my BR gets above $500 I will start playing cash. If my BR dips below $35, no more spins, only strictly MTT's. I need to make these funds last longer and can't keep burning through cash. So I will really be focusing on my MTT game until BR is above $500. I will only be playing MTT's with $5.50 buy-ins or lower.

tough hand and bustout hand from $40 spin - $160 prize. First hand, do I have to call? Pretty funky move by him but not sure if it's ever a bluff.

Also, I am getting back on the horse this week for the gym. I am going to gym Mon, Tues, and Thur this week. And probably Saturday morning as well. Only went on Tue last week which is not good. Goal is min 3x a week.

I don't think I'm going to play another live tournament until maybe the first Sunday in March which is a 25K GTD. We will see.

The past couple of days, I've been really fed up with and sick of poker. I think it started the night I didn't make it to the money in that tournament, I thought about quitting poker / taking a long break after not making it to the money in that tourney. It wasn't just not making it to the money in that tournament but I've played a bunch of live tourneys, put a bunch of money into them with nothing to show.

Also have nothing to show for my online play except losses and practice/experience. Probably down about 1K total now online, but I cashed 1200 live so about breakeven I guess since I started playing a lot in the middle of Nov 2015.

I think I'm only going to really enjoy poker when I'm playing bigger cash game stakes live and online. Micro's have really been pissing me off lately on ACR, just a bunch of nits and it's miserable to play lately. Maybe I should just take a long break from playing online and go back to live once I have a 4K bankroll.

So ya, I think I'm going to take a minimum month long break from poker and re-evaluate how I feel. I just don't have a big enough BR right now and need to save up some money and stop burning through small deposits here and there.

So my new plan is going to be to save until I have a 4K BR then start playing 5/5 live cash in LA and play bigger live tourneys.

I'm just really aggravated with poker at this point and sick of costing myself money with no returns except for that 1 live tourney I won, haven't had any good scores. Pretty sick of ACR too, so time for a nice long break, at least a month long. I'm still going to post on here about trying to hit my gym goals and studying about poker.

Revised Plan: Need to lay the foundation before I start trading the markets again and playing poker.

I have definitely realized, in life, feeling good and health are so important to performing the best in other areas of your life. When I was in college, I feel strongly that one of the reasons why I finished with a high GPA (3.87) and performed well academically was because I was working out so much, which led to me feeling great.

Before I move forward, I am going to force myself to move backwards and lay the foundation for success. I need to have a dedicated workout schedule to feel my best which will help me perform my best in the markets and poker.

Over the past couple months, I have had mixed results in trading and poker and I strongly believe this is because I haven't felt my best. Why haven't I felt my best? Because I haven't been in the gym consistently. I haven't had enough balance in my life and have been focusing too much on the two.

So now, I'm taking a break from both and will only bring them back once my gym routine is established. I need to lay the foundation and establish a solid gym routine because I know this will lead to me feeling my best which will then lead to me performing my best at the things I care about most.

Starting tonight my main priority and goal is going to be to workout minimum 3x a week (lay the foundation). When March 15, rolls around I will re-evaluate how I feel and possibly start trading again. I will then look at re-introducing poker sometime in April. I know from experience I will perform my best in all areas of my life when I am feeling my best (which means a solid workout routine, getting at least 2 intense workouts/wk).

So this week I am going to be in the gym tonight, wed and thurs and possibly some pickup basketball on Saturday morning.

Every night after my workouts, I am going to make sure I am reading and studying, either about the markets, self-development or poker. Tonight is most likely going to be self-development again.

I am going to try to re-read all of Think and Grow Rich in the next two weeks. I need a refresher course on the bible of success and think it is great to review this book the beginning of every year.

My goal for this week is to workout:

Tue, Wed, Thur, possibly Saturday morning.

My workout schedule moving forward starting next week:

Mon [upper body and stretching]

Tue [basketball, light upper body and stretching]

Thu [lower body, light upper body, stretching]

Sat morning [optional but should become regular - basketball, stretching]

Will most likely post more later about my thoughts.

So, I just ran the numbers and total, all money spent on poker, and my one 1st place tournament win, I am down -$750 since I started in November. Definitely not happy with the financial results right now, at one point had my account up to $450 and was right around breakeven 2 weeks ago, then busted account and put in an additional $150 that I busted.

Not terrible and definitely a manageable hole to climb out of once I have a good enough BR to play live 5/5. I am not playing poker again until I have the solid foundation and I am back to trading well in the market. So I will most likely be breaking from poker until mid April.

Until then, I will be hitting the gym 3 weeknights a week and studying my new trading books I just bought. Plan on trading again in about a month once I have my gym routine down. Look forward to reading the new trading books I bought, they are both about the psychological and mental aspects of trading. I do plan on buying a technical analysis book further down the road but I think where I need my most work right now is in the psychology behind everything. I have studied technical analysis for a long time and watch the markets every day so am pretty confident in that area although I am well aware I have a lot I can still learn.

The two books I bought are Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas and Trading Psychology 2.0 by Steenbarger. My favorite book I have read on trading to date is The Psychology of Trading written by Steenbarger in 2002.

By the end of March, I want to have re-read all of Think and Grow Rich, have finished Trading in the Zone and have started Trading Psychology 2.0.

I will keep posting my progress and insights I feel necessary that I get along the way from reading and life.

I worked out last night, I'm going to start posting a chain of x's everytime I hit my weekly goals and try to build a huge chain. If I miss a week, the chain starts over.

So here's my weekly goals:

Workout: Tue [x], Wed, Thu and Sat morning (optional but most likely doing it)

Read: 200 pages of Think and Grow Rich

Once I reach Mid-March as long as I hit all my workout goals, I will start taking supplements again.
Serious Goals - From Micro's to Crushing Live in LA Quote

So I just finished my goal of reading 200 pages in Think and Grow Rich. I think once I finish I will do a short write-up of my favorite parts of the book. My new stock market books will be here this week, so goal is to finish Think and Grow Rich this week. On page 208 and last page is 381 so should be able to finish.

Workout wise, I got in the gym twice this week, still not enough but better than last week (only once). I'm moving in the right direction and am confident I will be in the gym this week Mon-Thur (new sched with added day) and possibly Sat AM bball.

Also, I was happy with my discipline this week of working out and studying/reading and performance at work so I decided to play 12K GTD on Friday night. Busted out a bit early, played well but flopped top pair (K's) with Q kicker and was pot committed and lost to AK, unlucky. I 3bet tight kid to my right pre with KQo, really wanted to isolate him and BB woke up with AK. I was committed on flop when I hit K and BB shoved, I called, unfortunate, but I still know I will win here soon. 4900 up top.

Family wise, son and daughter both playing baseball so got to watch them both play today, pretty good family day today.

I'm going to play a couple micro tournaments tomorrow. And that's it for the week, I won't play again until end of next week/weekend, if I hit my weekly workout and reading goals. I did a good job this week of making my health and working out my first priority, didn't play any poker until Friday night.

Bought a pre-workout supp today, BSN's Hyper FX, have used it before and look forward to getting back to using a pre-workout supp. It's been over a year since I've used one so should be some good benefits to energy and pump once I start using it.

My new weekly workout goal is going to be Mon-Thur and Sat AM basketball if possible.

This week's workout schedule:

Mon - Upper Body, stretching

Tue - light upper body, basketball, stretching

Wed - legs, light upper body, stretching

Thu - light upper body, basketball, stretching

Sat - AM bball

Reading Goals: Finish Think and Grow Rich, try and write more about my favorite sections and ideas, start Trading in the Zone

Stock Market Goals: Finish publishing trading rules, start and hopefully finish day-trading plan

If I hit all 4 workout goals and my reading goals, I will reward myself with some poker on Friday and over the weekend.

Overall, had a productive week, made good progress, next week I should hit all my goals. Playing a couple big micro tourney's on ACR tomorrow, would love to bink one.

Overall goal is to still get a poker BR of 4K and start playing 5/5 cash live along with PLO. My trading has to be hitting on all cylinders first.

really want a black 5 series

Happy with my progress in reading and the gym. I think I have a good plan for myself moving forward.

Mon-Thur - is gym after work and then study time, reading books on the market and self-development, and maybe a couple poker books along the way. No poker Mon-Thur

Fri-Sun - If I hit my weekly goals, I will play some poker in this 3 day window, and use this window to try and get better at poker and read poker books and do hand reviews

So I am only playing poker in a 3 day window if I hit my weekly goals.

I played a 3,500GTD last night and was chip leader with about 90 people left. Then I blew my chip lead in what could have been a nice cruz to the final table if I tightened up. I need to get better when I am in the top 10 in chips in tightening up and focusing on holding the lead.

Cashed for only $10.55 (5.50 buy-in) when there was $800 up top for 1st which I could have easily made a run at if I protected my chip lead.

Will post those hands in here at some point, probably in the Fri-Sun window when I am doing some hand reviews.

Was able to read more of Think and Grow Rich yesterday and today and should be finishing the book in a couple days and moving to Trading in the Zone which I am very excited to read.

Also, going to keep tracking my poker profits/losses.

After 60 buyin to 12K GTD and 25 deposit (which is at 40 now) my poker net total is at

$-835

Also, excited that I am working on and almost done with publishing my trading rules and plan. It's something I should have had documented a long time ago. Organized Planning is so important for success and something I neglected badly in trading and the markets. All stems from discipline.

One last thing - I was watching some guy on twitch last night playing $500 PLO on bovada. Wow was that soft, literally looked like $10 PLO on ACR. I think at some point I am going to load up a bovada account to play some PLO.

Also, forgot to put in here. I had read a while back about intermittent fasting, and I actually already do it a decent amount, because I don't really eat while at work until like 11-1. But I am going to implement intermittent fasting mon-thur.

Basically you set an 8 hour window during the day that you are allowed to eat (obviously healthy, either a bunch of small meals or a couple big ones).

My window is going to be 1PM - 9PM. I had roughly been following this because I would go late into the morning/early afternoon before my first meal but now will strictly follow it. I definitely feel like eating a meal slows me down while at work and makes me groggy most of the time which was why I was doing it mainly (and because sitting at a desk all day, you have to be careful). I need the window to be late enough that I can have a postworkout shake/meal, when getting home from gym. I think 1-9 should be good and will change the window as needed.

So I will eat 2 big meals in my window. The only thing I have been doing and will continue to do which I guess is a bit of cheating but probably not a big deal is, I eat a banana every morning on an empty stomach and don't eat again until my window opens.

I don't think eating the banana is a big deal, want to get all those nutrients in me on an empty stomach.

I should start posting my stats and weekly results again to track progress. Still plan on only playing tournaments and some spins and no cash games until roll is above $500. I am very happy with my spin graph progress. My chip EV is at all time highs and progressively climbing. Will post up later. Think I'm really making strides in the spins department. Definitely noticed too that Fri-Sun games are way softer and prime time to play spins.

Finished Think and Grow Rich today, what a refreshing review. Excited to start Trading in the Zone, looks like it should be a great read. Hit my reading goals and will hit my gym goals after I get home tomorrow from working out.

This is the first time of 2016 I have been in the gym Mon-Wed. Really like this new schedule of Mon-Thur. Feel great and much better already.

I will start my workout plan that got me pretty ripped mid-march once I hit my gym goals 4 weeks straight and my body is a bit more conditioned.

Here is a pic of my current body:

Here is a pic of my body when it was at one of my favorite points of all-time, only 4 weeks into my serious workout routine/plan. I will get back and surpass here this year.

Most likely playing live 12K GTD Friday night. Going to bink it this time, 4900 up top.

Not playing live tonight, may play a little online but that's it.

Very happy with my goals I hit this week. So time to start producing a chain and hitting my goals every week. Was in the gym for the first time all year Mon-Thu night. Pretty run down from working out every night and only getting about an avg of 5 hours of sleep/night. Will be going to bed early tonight and probably playing bball tomorrow at 8AM for the bonus 5th workout of the week.

Was kind of groggy at work towards the end of the week but I will get used to it. Finished Think and Grow Rich (first book of the year I have read front to back) and started Trading in the Zone. Going to re-visit my reading goals and will post the updates up later.

My intermittent fasting has been going well. Generally the window I ended up following was 2:40PM - 10:40PM eating window. Literally 3 nights in a row I finished my second meal (steak and eggs that wife cooked for me ) at 10:40 after getting home from gym and didn't plan this or anything, just worked out that way. I'm eating 2 meals within that window, so I think this will help me get cut up better. Sat & Sun, I'm not going to do intermittent fasting and will throw a couple cheat meals in.

Got good workouts and the most important thing right now is I got in there all 4 days. 3 more weeks of this and I will start my ramped up workouts and taking supplements. I took a preworkout wed and thu before the gym, I was pretty tired so needed the extra energy. Ideally for this 3 week period I won't be using the pre-workout unless I'm really tired.

So this is a great result, I hit my goals for the week already and it's only Friday. I will be playing some poker this weekend and maybe read some of my poker books that I want to finish (Harrington's / Gus Hansen's) that I'm about 2/3 way through. Hope to win a tourney on ACR this weekend.

I feel noticeably better from working out as well. Which is the most important thing.

Probably will read some more Trading in the Zone over the weekend, really like what I have read so far (about 50 pages).

Sunday night I will post up my goals for the coming week and poker results.

Didn't get to the gym on Saturday, but the only day of the week I didn't intermittent fast was Sunday. Had some cheat meals this weekend and getting back on diet grind today. Happy I hit my goals though.

I played some poker this weekend. Cashed in a bovada 1K GTD for $4. Played a couple tourneys on ACR with no cashes. Played a good amount of $25 PLO on Bovada, Bovada is definitely a better place to play PLO than ACR. Have about $100 on Bovada and $40 on ACR. Plan on playing PLO and micro tourneys on Bovada and mostly spins and tourneys on ACR. Trying to figure out how to track stats, etc when playing on Bovada.

Not going to play live again until mid March.

My reading goals for this week - Get to page 200 of Trading in The Zone (about 150 pages of reading).

Gym - Mon-Thu

Mon - upper body, cardio, stretching

Tue - light upper body, basketball, stretching

Wed - legs, light upper body, stretching

Thu - light upper body, basketball, stretching

Diet - continue intermittent fasting and disciplined eating.

Will keep that weekly goal chain moving and add another link by Friday =)

Best thing is I continue to feel better and am glad I found a set workout and study schedule to keep pursuing my goals.

Got a great workout last night and on track to hit workout goals again.

After workout last night, started reading more Trading in the Zone, finished up a chapter around page 86 and was really itching to play PLO.

Made about $50 and BR is now up to $218 (with some sportsbook bonuses waiting to be unlocked). As long as I unlock the sportsbook bonus, my total BR should be about $600 after tonight on Bovada. Pretty solid from a $100 deposit. Guess it's all going to stem on tonight if I get the full bonus. Will post more about that later.

I'm going to lighten my reading goal for the week. I want to be at around page 150 by end of week. That's about another 60 pages. This is because I'm going to spend less time reading when I get home from working out and put in a good 90-120 min session of $25 PLO. Was very pleased with the 90 min session I put in last night, made about 2 buyins.

Feel great today from last night's workout. Definitely a noticeable difference in how I feel the past couple weeks after getting back into my consistent workout routine. Looking forward to continuing to build.

So, I guess I will start updating my bankroll numbers again. After playing on Bovada this weekend, I like the fact I added the option of another place to play. ACR and Bovada both have their pro's and con's. I think I made too big of a deal about players being anonymous on Bovada, that was my main reason for initially wanting to just use ACR. That and the fact I wasn't aware there is tracking software for Bovada.

Now that I have tracking software for Bovada, and have realized anonymous players aren't a huge deal, I will probably shift towards Bovada more because the player pool is softer.

I will still play on ACR a good amount Fri-Sun, to play some of their good tourney's and some spins as well. But for cash games, will probably mostly be playing cash only on Bovada as well as tourneys on Bovada.

Bovada BR - $218 ($550+ once sportsbook bonus clears tonight )

ACR BR - $41

Unless you love high variance swings, I would avoid the SpinnGos. Also, your online BRs are too low for MTT variance as well. I would focus on Cash or SNGs (not Spins) to grow your online rolls. Just my two cents (Ive grown BRs on Bovada from scratch several times).

Nice man. Ya I'm only playing $2 spins on ACR sparingly. Just because they are fun. And trying to bink a micro tourney to build roll. I can put more in here and there to fund more micro tourney's but my goal is to win like a 1-3.5K GTD and that's a good start to a roll.

ACR does some good tourney's for the price that I like to play in. Just need to bink one to get the roll going.

I'm not playing cash at all right now on ACR. I've realized anything below $25 cash is too psychologically difficult for me to play with the small amounts. Just playing $3-$5 micro tourneys.

So basically, goal is to bink a micro tourney to get roll above $500 where I can continue playing micro tourney's and be rolled good enough for $25NLH. I can put more in here and there but just going to keep grinding.

Overall goal is to play online to keep getting better and build a real roll to play live 5/5 cash in LA area. Want to win a live 12K GTD tourney which has 3-5K up top and then I will have my live roll.

Just have enough funds to allocate to poker to buy into live tourney's here and there and play micro's online. Once I bink the live 12K GTD, I will be able to get things rolling with my live BR and play. Everything I am doing online is helping me get better and preparing me for live with good amounts of money.

I should be good after tonight on Bovada, with roll $500+ that's enough to kindle something good with micro tourneys and $25 cash games.

Look forward to starting up live again. I played for 3 months at the Wynn 1-3 while I lived in Vegas (doing finance internship), always brought max buyin of $500 to table which is equivalent to 5/5 in LA and won good amount over that small sample. Look forward to getting to the point where I am bringing home $1-2K in profits from grinding live cash. And to playing bigger prize pool live tournaments.

A Bit about my sports betting background before I get into this:

I started betting on sports when I was 19-20. I played baseball, basketball and football my whole life and followed these sports religiously. I never was big into betting, would just make small deposits and try to make big runs with terrible money management.

Started on bovada back when it was bodog. About 4 years ago, when I was 23, I made the best run of my sports betting career to date. I turned 400 into 21K betting baseball. This was the year Verlander was unhittable.

I did what a lot of people usually fail to do and cashed out almost everything (cashed out 20K).

This was my only notable run to date, but after that I slowed down and never really put a lot of money into it again, just small deposits here and there trying to run them up. I had two separate times after that where I ran a couple hundred up to 13K, but busted both of those with nothing to show.

Over my sports betting career I would say I'm probably up about 4-5K net with the one big cash. So I do have some experience betting basketball, NFL and MLB, along with a bit of college football (college football was by far my worst, MLB is by far my best).

Basically, I am writing all of this because after tonight, I have a legit bankroll on Bovada mostly thanks to my sportsbook bonus I got when I deposited my $100. They gave me a $50 sportsbook bonus that I had to roll-over x amount of times before I could use it for anything else.

Well I hit the rollover requirements after tonight's $500 ML play on the Heat came in.

So my $150 BR is now $715 and I have a great BR on Bovada to grind poker with.

I plan on coming back to MLB betting which is by far my best sport this season. I also plan on betting some NBA and NCAAB.

The one difference between this time and every other time leading up to this point is I am going to exhibit extreme DISCIPLINE and adhere to a strict BR and money management plan. I will start posting my plays in here to track my record and units won. I preached in here in the beginning how this year was my year to become extremely disciplined in everything I do in life. Now it's time to do this with sports betting, poker and the stock market when I bring trading back.

So my sports betting money management plan is, I will risk 1-10 units per play.

Every unit is 0.50% of my account balance (changes in increments of hundreds).

IE - I am in the 700's and therefore the whole time I am in the 700's 1 unit is $3.50. This means I will risk a max of 5% on any game ($35 while in the 700's).

My unit structure will adjust once I move up to 800's/down to 600's.

At any given time, I never want to have more than 10% of my BR being risked and never more than 5% (10 units) on a given game. I will most of the time stay well below 10% and most likely below 5% as well. I will pick my spots and never have more than 2-3 bets in a day. There will be days when I don't bet at all.

Now that I have $700 I am going to single table $25 PLO. And play micro tourney's on the side at certain times on both Bovada and ACR.

Here's screenshot of results over last couple days:

Very grateful for the new-found BR that I am going to be extremely disciplined with and grind up. When I post my plays, not really going to do write-ups. I will have done research and have my reasons but not looking to spend a lot of time writing about it. Just want to track units and record.

I do a lot of research on covers.com and may use some other things as well.

If I post a play and somebody wants to discuss, feel free happy to, but otherwise I won't post anything but the play and risk.

On a side note, had another great workout tonight, played some bball and did some light upper body.
