Ended regging bit earlier than was meant to. Just wasn't focused enough and decided to do some damage control by ending earlier. Think I need day off pretty soon. Well tomorrow MTT's.

Hey good thread so far man, and well done on 1st place on the leaderboard. I always seem to end up finishing around 30th and was wondering if there was any general advice you could give for this stage in a $2.50? Cheers!

Exactly this. I found myself sometimes feeling unmotivated but always try to remember how lucky I am to be able to do something like this and not have to bust my ass flipping burgers everyday.

Heh actually I don't drink energy drinks at all atm. Tea and water just goes fine. Focus is inside your head. Music helps. #nocleansingingftw

I'm trying to play every MicroMillions event I can basicly. Checked few days ago that I'll be playing around 30 events. I have 2 prop bets going on atm on micromillions leaderboard. 1 including 4 guys with 50$ bet, and one with another Finnish 180man grinder with 100$ bet. I have cashed 2 events so far. Hope I get some deepruns happen l8r.

Thx and glad u liked my random ramblings. 30ish places are usually played somewhere around T600-800 imo. Think those are usually the levels when randoms are tightening up and regs are starting to shove more since effective stacks are starting to decrease. Just try to perfect your shoving ranges and start crushing.

I'm actually not running that awesome atm so think you have to steal that rungood from somewhere else. Gl thou! Good thing if this thread gives someone motivation and inspiration. Same Sh#t Different day. Keep Grinding, Keep Crushing.

Close ones again. 2nd in 22$ 360cap and really not happy how I played the hu. Few ft bubbleish 10th place in 8max, 12th place in 8k gt KO. Just need to get past those and I'm starting to make money from these. In b4 Micromillions bink (Yeah right). Should have been 180s grind today but didn't really feel like it. Gonna play massive 180s season tomorrow to punish myself for messing up my schedule. Not a single off day in this month yet so I guess I'm doing something right.

Respect for the amount of volume you've been putting in, i also did that before played about 300 hours in 5 weeks made me miserable so if u start feeling unmotivated during that time I don't blame you LOL. how have the 180 mans been anyways are they still reg infested? Also do you set a limit of how many tables you play a day or do you just keep firing them up? Anyways GL at the tables!

The 180s are getting worse and worse all the time but still deff beatable huge regfest thou. Im currently capping my tables to 22 at 180s atm. I used to play around 30tables but changed it to 22 when I included 3rs. At MTT's I just reg everything I'm gonna play and go for there. Very rarely I have more than 14 tables up and its usually around 12.

Don't know whats going to happen today since I still haven't slept and its 10am here. Gotta get some sleep soon to wake up grind in the evening.

re: Sanjay_45 Grinding MTT's ftw in 2013.

yeah lots of regs probably have a ton of leaks, I know i did when i was playing the 180s was barely beating it haha. Yeah honestly i wouldn't even play unless im more then half awake i remember i played a 14 HOUR session? i think lol around there as my celebration for finally having the roll for sunday tournaments, and didnt sleep much the day before and pretty much made so much errors and lost a ton that day. Its just not worth it seriously i would just take a day off if i were you.
And also for tournaments do you only play the turbo formats? or regular speed?

Meh running bad on the late stages. Still happy I went through it and under these circumstances made even bit profit. Slept around 5h at noon and had alarm clock to wake me up to grind #dedication. Was playing with power of coffee but still think I did quite well. Now to get some much needed rest and tomorrow its time to crush Sunday donkaments. Cashed today at Micromillions and got some more points to add on the leaderboards. Still waiting for that ft. Gl Everyone!

Few very weird and frustrating days playing poker. Ended up playing a long session and just bricked everything. Running really awful but kinda was due since I have been running really hot lately. Still I think losing wasn't just b/c of downswing

Totally ****ed up my sleeping schedules in last few days also. Stopped jogging and eating healthy. After I started downswinging it felt like everything I did before just fell apart and only thing I focused on was playing more and trying to win it back. This is not uncommon for me and has happened many times before. Every time I seem to lose control of my grinding, my whole life seems to fall apart when I try to fix it. This has usually ended up me busting my bankroll and taking a month or two break. Usually this haze when I stop everything else besides poker and just grind with bit of a tilted mind lasts couple of weeks thou. Now I realized this Tuesday evening after I ended my session. I just had played 3 MTT days in a row dropping more than 1.2k in process. I didn't stick to my grinding schedule. I didn't try to bust my leaks or review hands. I realized I was running bad and just decided to keep the grind going so it would turn around eventually. This is obv true that I would eventually start running better and end up winning sooner or later if I would play my best and really focus while grinding. Usually downswing effects me by playing worse and worse and so it feels that downswing never really ends althou in the end its just me making too many mistakes and playing bad. Good to notice that I'm making progress to notice this "tilting" sooner and be able to shake it off.

So I took a much needed day off yesterday and decided to fix my sleeping schedules in progress and be awake smth approx 30h. Now I had a good night sleep and going for a jog soon. It's going to be 180s grind later today and can't wait to get back on it again.

Here is my graph for the month so far:

Only way is up from this point. Gl to me and everyone else!

I have no idea what's happening atm. Imo I played well, was focused and motivated but just can't make it happen. Played 3rs and 8s only since TN is ****ing up sng sensei so have to reg manually and obv ended up having horrible session. Made like 6-7 ITM and 0 fts. Just feeling crushed atm. Have to get back it tomorrow. This picture pretty much sums it up:

Go to ur Pokerstars directory. Find 'backup' folder. Copy whats in it to ur main PS folder (overwrite everything). Start Pokerstars with .exe located in main folder (not with shortcut on desktop etc). It will start previous version of PS u had and will allow u to use TN until they come up with patch. Cheers
