The Return Of ProfesorKaos - LAGy lannd

Hey yo

I've been dicking about talkin **** about TAG theory and its all a bunch of wank. Way too boring to sit around playing like a pussy all day.

From this day forward I will give it fkn plenty and become a LAG boss.

If I lose all the money, fk it, I simply cannot win by playing ABC. It is gay.

Spoiler:

I'll start @ 10nl and just keep going up or down, w/e BOOM!

This guy is going to be flatting a lot here and I think he bets a ton when I check to him with a lot of broadways and some missed random hands, so I elected to XC with 6 outs. Turn is nut bluff card and I think he 4bets AK pre and also bets smaller or checks back KQ, so his range is pretty polarised and not many nut hands in his range. Dont think he merges his range with JJ or anything, so happy calling (or raising?) river sucked

Should I just stick it in on turn if im happy calling? Seems a bit results orientated but only occurred to me after the hand.

Re: The Return Of ProfesorKaos - LAGy lannd

The flat with 24s is just plain bad imo; the only way you'll profit with it is by turning your hand into a bluff a fair bit but BTN is a fish so you'll have little FE against him and the fact SB called you down so light shows that people think you are FOS anyways so I don't think it's a very good flat.

@ AQ hand - I think he can definitely bet 99/TT/JJ/QQ ott as you have very few K in your range (if you don't think he's good though then I can understand the call) apart from maybe AK. He's also UTG so it's pretty hard to find many hands you beat, I'd probably prefer a raise as I think most of his range is ahead of you but you can get him off most of it by raising.

Re: The Return Of ProfesorKaos - LAGy lannd

the 24s is pretty light but im happy enough getting into some spots postflop to try and get some reads. They both seemed easy enough to play vs so w/e

The AQo vs UTG hand : This guy is actually really loose which I forgot to mention and my image is hyper LAG so his calling range here is really wide.

I'm really confident in my read on the average player in these games, they irrationally fear "scary" turns and suck at value betting. It's really common for them to check back medium hands and polarise their turn barrel range, as opposed to value betting thinly and remaining depolarised, which is harder to play against.

I do agree that shoving is best here ott given your reasons, thanks.
