Update

Played a decent number of tournaments over the weekend. Was going really bad, not getting close to any scores at all. Luckily I managed to chop the 22 1r1a for 6k to save the weekend. Was a really nice tournament where I had a pretty comanding CL, had 50% of chips 5 way, lost some big pots later on however. Was three way with Jabracada and sousinha23, who are both good regs - so no reason not to chop as we're pretty much even in stacks and it was really late.

Weekend ended with a tiny profit of 495$, and YTD is 7581$

Training wise everything is good, have been to the gym or out running everyday Work wise I'm mentally not there anymore, I have one client left before I'm done. Hopefully that will be done after next week!

Update

Hey guys

Played 2 sessions Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm starting to feel my game getting sharper again and yesterday I ran really well, which resulted in some good results

Yesterday I got 2st in 33FO (500 cap) for 1k, got 1st in 54 Turbo knockout for 4k, got 3rd in 109 turbo 1r1a for 3,5k and 3rd in 55 Turbo 6max for 2k

Profit: 8425

Profit YTD: 16569

Will not be playing today as I have an indoor soccer tournament, and I'm unsure if I'll get any volume in during the weekend, and next week I'm at my last client at work. So properly won't play before the after the 20th.

Thanks mate. Yeah, I have been signed up for multiple training sites over the past couple of years. Atm I'm using RIO, I think training videos are great to a certain extend, but the quality of the videos varies A LOT! Actually I don't do hand reviews with anybody, which isn't optimal..

Update

So have been really lazy with updates lately. Got a lot of things going on at the moment. Was at my last client last week, and I just have some follow up to get done, then I'm officially resigned!

But instead of getting rid of my unresolved issues, I have been grinding almost everyday since last week, really have trouble finding motivation to do anything else besides playing poker.

Besides I need to come up with a subject for my master thesis and haven't given it any thought what so ever.

Poker wise I have lost some since my last update, I've played two full sundays we're I didn't have any results. Won the 55r past saturday, which helps a bit. Think I had some good shots at bigger money, but did not manage to win the crucial flips etc.

Lost a CL pot (120bbs) in sunday 500 with 6x people left with QT on A 2 3 6 6 against 22. I opened he flatted SB (huge fish, playing 34/4 something) and BB called. I Cbet flop 40% and got called by SB, BB folded. He c/raise massively on the turn leaving under 1x bet, and I shoved. Pretty unfortunate at this stack would have given me a decent shot at a FT.

Profit: -4479
Profit YTD: 12037

To top everything off my car broke down the other day and I'm waiting to hear from the mechanic about whats wrong and how much it'll cost me..

Yesterday I had my very last day at work. Was at the office for an hour returning my laptap, phone and other stuff. Went straight home and started playing poker

Had two decent scores since last update. Won the 55r again and the 109turbo re-entry.

Profit since last update: 903$

Profit YTD: 1310$

Update

Was running absurdly hot yesterday, getting hands, hitting flops and just winning every all in

Had a ton of deep runs, had a top 5 stack with 3x players to go and big 109, finished 17 in the 109 turbo 1r1. In the end I "only" manged to finsh 2nd in the 22 Action hour 6max for 1600 and and 2nd in the 33r for 1500. Was a bit disapointed that I didn't capatalize on any of the bigger opportunities.

But yeah obviously still a good day.

      Update

Had a decent sunday with wins in the 55r and 22 6max action man. I looked through my scores on pocketfives, I have FT'ed the 55r 7 times within the last month with 3 1st places and 3 3rd places. It seems this tourney saves me everytime

Had deep runs in the sunday rebuy and 162 6max, finishing around 30th in both. Hopefully I'll hit one of the bigger scores soon, as it seems all my results comes from the smaller frield toruneys atm.

Won about 3k putting my YTD profit at 16,2k.

      Non poker related

Most of February I failed pretty badly at getting exercise and eating healthy. Which caused me to become kind of depressed and not playing my best.

So far this month it has been far better. I'm trying to get some kind of exercise everyday, either playing soccer or going to the gym. Most days I start by going to the gym at 12PM and then I prepare food for the entire day before I start my session. I really think exercise is the key to keeping your mind sharp for the long sessions MTT's requires.

Don't get me wrong but when you say you were an auditor you mean you were working in an audit department at EY, yes?
Since i work at Corporate Finance department at one of EY's competitors I have never seen 25'y old statutory auditor.

Anyways, having in mind your pre-audit poker results going once more for poker seems a decent idea . GL

Yes your right, I wasn't an statutory auditor - as you say it's near impossible to do that so fast. I think it differs from country to country. In Denmark you have to do your master which is at least 5 years, and then you need a minimum of 3 years of work experience before you can start on becoming statutory which takes at least 2 more years. The term auditor isn't a "protected" title and is widely used, in Denmark everyone working with auditing in an audit department would be called an auditor even if they just began their education. But thanks, I feel pretty confident that it's the right idea for me!

      Thank you guys

Has been a while since my last update. The last couple of weeks has been in full grind mode, living a total zombie life, grinding almost everyday. I've started playing on other sites (Party & Winamax). The poker legislation in denmark is really annoying, I think my last remaining option is Ongame as danish people aren't allowed to play on tilt, .fr or 888. What do you guys think of Ongame? Is it worth while?

My exp with Party and Winamax has been decent so far, takes time getting used to other softwares and your screens seem alot more "messy" when it's not just 12-14 stars tables. The opposition however is really bad, so overall I think it's deffinately worth the hassle.

Since last update I've won the 27 PKO on stars for 5k, the 55r on Party for 5k and a lot of top 3 finishes at winamax.

      Profit YTD: 27492$

I had a lot of non poker related goals and so far it's really not going according to my plan. I rarely manage to get to the gym, not eating right and haven't really started looking at my master thesis at all. I think the main thing I'm lacking is structure, when I've have nothing planned for the day my mindset is to just start playing poker.

So I sat down today and made myself a weekly schedule that I will try my best to follow. Have 2 x 1/2 days allocated for school, training 2 times week, soccer 1 time a week and poker 3 days a week, with the weekend open so there is possibility to play 5 days/week to play. I've contacted a personal trainer, as I think this would make sure that I don't get away with just skipping training and getting out of my schedule. Think it's much harder to skip knowing you have an appointment with someone.
