Did want to add a pretty sick soul read I had last session that I forgot to post.

So the kid I sucked out on with my QQ vs his KJ opened utg for 25, I called in the cut off with AQo, sb calls and bb was all in for 15. Flop is 985hh, it checks around to me and I have the Ah so I didnt want to bloat the pot just yet with some nice back door equity so I checked.

Turn 8s, again it checks around to me and this is a pretty good card and I have the best hand 90% of the time unless sb has some small pp or a random 5 but I am crushing utg with his weak check check line, so I bet $50 sb folds pretty quickly and then UTG shoves all in for $230 total.

I was like wtf are you serious??? So I started piecing everything together, all his over pairs make a bet on the flop, all sets bet the flop bc of how wet the board is. 22-77 I really didn't think was in his $25 utg opening range. The only hand that I am really scared of at the moment is AK and I felt that AK would have made a bet bc its probably the best hand. So I said o well you have no value range here so I called and tabled my AQ, he said good call.

River was another 5...and I scooped the pot so he didnt even have an A in his hand. I think that JT makes a bet, he has QJ sometimes but imo KQs makes up the majority of the range that he has that makes me a winner on that board with that action.

On a personal side note...it's been exactly 1 week since my last cigarette!!!

Good start to the session, made 226 at my first table and was able to get all in by the river with AA vs QQ at my next table...played it perfect I think for QQ to never get away from the hand

Pretty solid session, made a couple idiotic bluffs that cost me about 500 but cashed out 1445, in for 500.

Although I did have a fight with the gf while playing over text...so that's always fun. Didn't really let it affect my play and was able to separate the two and still play pretty well.

You are a fellow "lotgrinder" and know just how much money you can make on the lot but also know how "the lot" can suck the life out of your soul.

The hours and workplace politics/socializing can be demoralizing at times.

Does the pokers conflict in any way with your relationships? I noticed you said you had a fight with the gf. Is she ok with you playing poker as your primary source of income?

Well its late Friday night and the gf and I decided to take it easy (the drinks from dinner made her a little tired lol light weight...I hope she doesnt read this ) So I rented Here Comes the Boom with Kevin James. It was meh entertaining...Salma Hayak is smoking obv, cute story, pretty cheesy but meh.

She fell asleep like 10 minutes into the movie so once it was over I decided to slum around a little here on 2+2 and play a little on Carbon.

Yes it does, definitely effects our relationship. I wouldnt say so much in the negative, sometimes its more stressful and sometimes it allows us to be freer and do things that we like and enjoy doing together.

She has been great!! She has been on board since day 1, we talked over dinner one night early in February about me taking a shot at playing for a living again. If I did not hit the goal of at least 1k each week for the first month then I would have to again get another big boy job. But I had to have that job set up before I quit to fall back on.

She is cool with me playing poker bc it makes me happy. I made great money at VW but I really was not happy with the time I was wasting there. That is by far the one thing we can never get enough of...time. We started dating while I was still grinding full time on pokerstars so she did know that I am capable of making a decent about of money playing.

Got bored and started playing some on Carbon...here are some decent boards for me





Here is something that yall can help me with...I am always looking to expand my grinding play list. Let me know what some of your favorite grinding music is.

WTF was he doing?

He had brought over some sort of a pin wheel he made out of a coke can and proceeded to shred it into tiny pieces of confetti.

Meh day...was in for 600 and cashed out 1205 but proceeded to spew off about 600 the last half hour I was there. I don't think I am going to be playing any super long sessions any more ...10 hours max is gunna be the limit from now on

I use Poker Income. its 10 bucks for unlimited recordings, easy to use. first 10 sessions are free to test it out though.

Then he started putting that confetti inside the chipstack of the guy sitting next to him while the guy was away from the table. He also put some in the dealer's tip box. And now you know the rest of the story.

Yeah I use that app, it's nice to just hit start at te beginning of each session to get an accurate hourly

Well got another good session going, won 142 while playing 1/2 waiting then in the first orbit of 2/5 got max value with AK on an A22 and got an allin called on the river. I transferred tables cause that table kinda sucked...to many familiar faces.

Currently up 115 at my 2nd 2/5 table, so 532 total profit already going into this table.

I love Mondays lol
