Maybe England should borrow a phrase from Iceland's book and hire a part time dentist to coach them.

Monthly Update

Had a really frustrating day today where i was up 1500 and ended up about break even. This is the third stressful month in a row but i'm happy with how i dealt with the situation in front of me. Moving down to regain some confidence was definitely a very good plan and i'm really pleased that my ego didn't get in the way of this decision. I like to think my ego wasn't in the way before but upon reflection it was definitely a factor in not moving down sooner. The reason i'm updating now is because i'm off to France tomorrow for the quarter final game between Wales and Belgium. Will be there thursday-sunday.

Goal review

Quote:
[ ] Complete Object Relations assignment and be accepted onto first year of Masters Had my first 1-1 tuition today. On the right path to getting it finished
[ ] No 1k+ unless huge spot or up over $7500 lol 7500
[x] Not lose every match while smb is away
[x] Read two books
[x] Gym 3 times a week averaged over 3 times a week!
[x] Gain some weight SO pleased with this one. Gained 3kg
While the monetary goals were not met, i hit the irl important stuff which i'm thrilled about. Especially the gym and weight gain. Thanks again to all those who chipped in, much appreciated. We're at about 175k hands breakeven now. It's a rough ride, but i'm feeling more confident that i can continue in the right direction.

Goals for next month

[ ] Finish and hand in essay/get onto Masters
[ ] Gain more weight
[ ] Gym at least 3x per week
[ ] IF i'm winning or feeling I'm playing my best game then MAYBE mix back in 600
[ ] Not get my ass handed to me at 400fr for the fourth month running

That'll do for the goals. Super excited to have 4 days off poker and spend some time watching football and hanging out with the boys. Will do a mini trip report when i'm back.

Lets kill August!

That was good strategy once upon a time. If you do that now it makes you even moar depressed seeing you made as much rb as in a month as u did on a slow weekend

Back from an awesome few day break. Needless to say the Wales games was totally off the hook. Felt like i was witnessing some serious history! Even though the majority of welsh fans hate england and vice versa, i didn't play into all that nonsense. Was really rooting for wales from the off and i'm really happy for the fans/team.

All the boys before the game

The four wales fans

Epic scenes

Back to reality now, gotta knuckle down with my July goals starting off with a sunday session.

lol, i can't deny i'm afraid.

Been a real busy couple days. Seeing 3 clients on a tuesday now + other therapy commitments gives me a pretty good taste of the real world that awaits me! On tuesday night i went to see Romeo and Juliet in london. I ordinarily really dislike seeing shakespeare but cus i had studied this play at school i could actually follow the language for once. My gf was part of the team that did the set which was reaaally impressive! Also Romeo was Robb Stark (Richard Madden) which added to the whole experience

Still in the midst of writing this essay which is really challenging me. Probably about half way through. Played a session which went pretty well. Felt myself starting to slip in concentration and also got a horrible cooler so decided to call in a day.

Think his jamming range is exclusively going to be trips+ and almost 0 bluffs

And actually with the bdfd getting there think it's hard to get calls from 88 tt jj qq even though he appears to enjoy going to showdown
