Re: PLO summer grind

Frustrating day I went down a bunch then made a comeback then lost two big ones to end the day.

Re: PLO summer grind

glgl!, subbed

curious how often there is action at the 100plo level.

Couple questions:
full ring, 6max, etc?
and...how many tables do you generally play?

Thanks!

Thanks for following!! Theres action at the 100 level for six max all of the time basically. Sometimes I have to start tables to get the amount I want up but by the middle of a session its usually going strong. I play like 80% 6max and 20% Hu. I usually just open up an empty heads up table at the start of a session and play whoever sits. For tables it depends. Usually anywhere from 5-9 is standard depended on if tables are full/ I have hu action ect.

Wow that would tilt me a bit but I think one my strengths in my game is quitting. I don't use a stoploss in the traditional sense of the word but if I'm just not feeling it or get sucked out on really bad I just quit then do something else for a bit then come back. This helps to avoid the huge losing sessions that can happen in plo sometimes. Like if I ever reached the point where I was down over 10 buyins in a session I would quit well before getting to 25.

Re: PLO summer grind

well it wasn't til afterwards when i ckd the session as i knew it was a swingy session i ckd the graph i was losing 1870 after 20mins and i finished infront by 2200 but i lost a few big pots just near the end were i was up over 3k before hand i know thats maybe not a standard swing but im sure they happen more often than ud like

yea its not a bad idea to quit for a while when ur feeling the pressure but u need to work on the stuff that has u like that instead of just quitting as when u have to make x for ur monthly nutt u just cant take breaks when ur under a bit of pressure which is very standard in plo as 10bi's is nothing in plo as ive har + and - that in hr playing plo online but then again thats over 7/8 tables so about 500 hands tops which isnt much when u think about it

if u ever want to chat on skype about hands/plays or watever sure let me know,

Re: PLO summer grind

graph since the start-

Total online BR is now roughly 9k with RB and bonuses. Playing mostly 200 now when its running and filling in with 100 tables when needed. Over the next week I hope to get in 10k or more hands.

Re: PLO summer grind

Another solid day today-

Account is over 10k!! First time I've ever had any of my poker accounts in 5 figures before. Kinda a cool feeling. Hoping to put in a hard week of grinding but hasnt been too many tables running lately. Oh well just more starting tables with some 30bb stacks and hoping more people join. At least the shortstackers usually stink .
