Another session and this time I mixed in some Zoom. Was not a great fan of Zoom with NLHE, so not sure why I thought it would be any different with PLO.
Session Hands 400
Total Hands 1412
Bank Roll $88.57
Profit / Loss $8.57
I'll post two hands. The first is one where I just wasn't sure what to do and other is a random hand.
Difficult hand
I ended up calling with 2nd nuts and of course it was not good enough. The flush comes in, but I did not feel he was chasing that. I put him on two pair or a split pot. It felt like it would be too nitty not to call.
I feel a new goal coming up at the start of August.....no playing zoom.
Mixed game of zoom and 6 max to post a small loss....all the loss on zoom and all the profit on 6max.
Session Hands 221
Total Hands 1636
Bank Roll $88.28
Sesson Profit / Loss $0.29
Profit / Loss $8.28
Is my fold too nitty here? The villan plays it strong with a pot bet on the flop and he made it just a bit too quick for my liking. Only a small sample of 7 hands and no real reads other than he was lining up to be fairly aggressive. Looking back on it I think it was worth seeing the turn and the re-evaluate.
fold, MP raises to $0.07, CO calls $0.07, fold, Hero calls $0.06, BB raises to $0.35, MP raises to $1.19, CO calls $1.12, Hero raises to $2.03, BB raises to $2.74 and is all-in, MP calls $0.63 and is all-in, CO calls $1.55, Hero calls $0.71
Flop:($10.04, 4 players) 8 5 9 Hero bets $0.26 and is all-in, CO calls $0.26
Turn:($10.56, 4 players) Q
River:($10.56, 4 players) 4
Spoiler:
Hero shows A 2 A Q (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 20%, Flop 37%, Turn 36%) CO shows 9 4 5 6 (Two Pair, Nines and Fives) (Pre 35%, Flop 35%, Turn 41%) BB shows T T 7 K (One Pair, Tens) (Pre 28%, Flop 19%, Turn 16%) MP shows A Q J A (One Pair, Aces) (Pre 17%, Flop 9%, Turn 8%) CO wins $10.26
Shame there is no prize for 4 pairs! lol. I guess I had to call the turn raise and although the river is a brick, I put him on a set. The missed flush draw was also there and fair play if he went three streets on that.
Hey cracked, I too am trying to grind low limit omaha high. My bankroll is only 8 bucks tho and the lowest stakes I can find are 2 cent 4 cent so I can go broke easily with only 2 buy-ins. It seems like some of your posted hands you hit your flop in regards to your hand, but you have to think about what other players could have flopped too. Fear the nuts. Look forward to hear on how your doing and maybe we can compete if I get my roll up soon. Also, I think omaha high is a great game to focus on(game of the future?). I recently played 1/2 at the casino and it was softer then 2 cent 4 cent. No joke. I think with your bankroll you should be playing a least 2 tables. You have a general understanding of basic strategy and you would have to get really unlucky to go broke. Alas, JMHO. Gl at the tables

Hero mucks J 7 A A (Three of a Kind, Jacks)
BTN wins $0.20
i noticed in alot of your hh's you just seem to flat pre (from utg or what ever) even with double suited aces or decent run downs. Your better off 3betting them and raisin pre. Raise your hands pre more often, your playing way to passive pre.
Hey 7ylerdurd3n. Thanks for your input. Totally agree, I think I mentioned above I am finding it difficult to work out what is a raising hand when out of position. I think my play adjusts to the table as well. If they play agro, then I play more passive knowing that when I hit my hand they will do the betting. If its nitty, I'll open up more. Still learning the ropes and need to get a book asap. Gotta start finding that raise button. What do you think the gap between vpip and pfr should be?

Thanks for stopping by. Do you have your own PG thread?
If you can afford it, I would increase your bankroll. PLO requires an even bigger bankroll that NLHE does. It is much more swingy as you have seen from my results.
I am playing 3 - 4 tables now. Finding 3 is optimum unless one table is slow. I am also table selecting much more now.
I am defo up for some competition / prop bets. Let me know what you have in mind.
