Hi, I'm Fast11375 and I work full time in Analytics for a large US Data company. I've been an avid poker player since 2009 and have found moderate success in the past few years. This year, I am going to attempt a goal of $25,000 in online cash game winnings.

This goal will be tougher than it looks. Anyone grinding in the US will tell you how tough it is to mass table games running higher than 200nl. Hopefully playing on 5 sites will help with that.


My 2014 HM2 tracked winnings:

I was lazy in adding in promotional gains, as well as profits from Bovada. My total 2014 online cash winnings is ~$15,000.


With an ABI of $100 and 4bb/100 post rakeback, I will have to grind 625,000 hands to reach goal. That translates to 52,000 hands per month, or 90 playing hours at 600 hands/hour. That's 20 hours of poker per week on top of my normal work week. It's going to be tough! I'll set a monthly profit goal as well, to make sure I don't lose focus of the end goal.

Unfortunately there is not much choice in the US, 6max are the only games that run consistently above 100nl. I plan on grinding all 100-200nl now that I am able to play on NJ sites, with 400nl mixed in whenever I feel I'm on my A game.

Back from three days at the Borgata. Was hoping to hit the 600k badbeat jackpot, but someone else got it day before I arrived, bummer! The 2/5 games are suprisingly soft though and it was free money repping nut hands on every board and barreling. Booked a decent win but no monster stacks to show

yea its a free version of one of the paid poker apps, its called "Poker Analytics". It doesn't have a graphing function but I really love the layout and design.

It depends on the site. On BorgataPoker where there's no waitlist (substantial amount of wait time to fire up 6) it's more like 400 hands per hour for 6 tables. My default is 7 tables, and I will add/remove depending on how concentrated I am during that session.

2nd week results:

Hit -2k loss but was able to recover some at the end of the month. Can't wait until week 3, Borgatapoker is coming out with a fix to its crappy software that crashes 3-4 times per session from faulty memory coding.

One hand I felt like should have been a call and then call on river. Odds were too good even though he had every combo of nutted hand in his range. Too many floats here.

Another swingy week, had multiple sessions where I had to dig myself out of -1k+ hole. I felt I played really well this week even though the results says the contrary.

Had to do a lot of overtime at work this week, so I will excuse my hand for now.

Overall I liked how I did this month. Was able to concentrate and play through multiple mini-downswings during the month. Ended the month at 2.94bb/100 pre rakeback, but I am sure I can do much better than that moving forward.


One thing I really want to work on for February is raising my winrate from the blinds. -40bb/100 is okish but I should be able to get it down to ~30bb. Small blind also needs a bit of work.

Woo slacked off the first week of February, definitely need to play catchup now for the rest of the week

There is definitely a lot of leaks in my game when I run into spots that don't come up very often, for example, when I 4bet and get flatted. For example, I had a lot of trouble putting him on a range in the below hand when he 3bet me UTG and then flatted a 4bet. Although I did play it fine given what I saw him show down with, I wasn't able to put him on a range during the action.

Last week of Feb didn't go so well and pulled monthly profits into the negative. Did get my weekly volume in though, which was decent.

After 60k hands at 200nl, I don't seem to be doing as great as I had hoped. It was a brutal stretch where I noticed a ton of set of sets(and set vs quads), but I still would like to see a little profit regardless. So for March, I've decided to limit my tables to 6 and use the extra concentration to triple check my lines vs the best regs of the site. Pokerstove will also be open while I play to check ranges on the spot. I know this will affect my 50k hand goal for March, but I can't continue to bleed winrate like this.

First Week of March found me in a lot of spots where my nonSD is getting crushed. Aggressively playing GTO didn't help other than drag my SDV down. Guess everyone's on a heater?

Recently joined a League of Legends team for fun, alas my volume has decreased (6 table cap didn't help either)
