Thanks for your comment!

H1 I think you are right about the river. Should definitely realize we are having the best hand 99% of the time and jam. Not think about what he can call, ppl will find reasons to call in spots you would never expect.

H4 I guess you are right. I see the downswing has made me a bit scared money.

----

Today) People who seem agro I sometimes 4b bluff those. Flop standard wa/wb and would hate to get xR. Turn standard vbet / encuiry bet. River I'm 80% sure he has AK, AQ. I guess I prolly should bet like 37dollars and expect never to get jammed on but occasionally get called by some JJ played in a nitty way post. But thats like 10-15% of the time and mainly by recreationals. I'm scared money...

Played the night, run bad and made quite a few big mistakes cause of tilting. I actually haven't tilted much lately, I only realized after looking at the hands that I was on tilt, not on a monkey tilt but on a gamble callingstation mode.

    H1)

Ez check on flop. Ez fold on turn. Ppl. don't jam w. bluffs here like ever the flop xR line is also value heavy

Not sure why it don't want to convert. Hmm I checked this with Snowie and thought it's awfull to stack off here. Actually looking back to it now the ranges would look like smthing like that imo + if we consider the fish may come in and ship with pair + draw type stuff it turns +EV. Any how's generally the equity of twopair on monotext. 3-ways is awfull. I've checked it in so many spots and it always suprises me, it's something hard to understand intuitively. Same goes to FD on paired boards vs. raise -> always fold.

Called vs. recreational cause it's weekend. People are drunk and drunk people are more willing to gamble. I think very often AK + some of the time the KK+ and sometimes random AJ, JJ-TT. Could fold I'm not 100% sure.

Here I was getting a bit tricky. Flop is protec / freeroll raise and then playing depending on the runout. A and K are basically the only awfull cards. On a queen he would prolly not go nuts with AQ, KQ for valuez + the population goes on super passive mode with like overpairs and top pairs on spots they dunno if they have value and still think they are getting slowplayed by nuts or something weird so I guess this will work in a vacuum reasonably well. Equity wise we are 50/50 on the flop vs. the range I think he cbets. Maybe a bit too out of line w. my skills. At least I made mr. Spewy very angry

Here vs. recreational the flop float is marginal but think can do it. Vs. turn jam would be giving up. River I think I have the best hand the most of the time would guess like 65% of the time. I think the minbet will polarize him pretty well. Could be better to make it 3 dollars this might make him think AJ is the nuts when vs. 3dollars he would just call. Anyhow I like the river play even the minbet lowers the risk he jams better shwdnvalue.

The river can turn very -EV if villain is a decent player. Just cause of his line on the flop is weak he prolly expects me to barrel turn w. most FDs to get him of by the river from stuff like KT. On the river I think he has the straight or set the most of the time but I still prolly could have flush + would he expect me to be shipping much bluffs there, it's not a spot ppl. bluff after all. The fish and the flop action makes this worse and he pretty much snapped me. I checked w. snowie and we could bluff A but should give this up. Could probably 3-barrel this tbh. his flop line looks weak.

My redline has improved after I started to open 2x and widened my ranges a bit. Even though I make mistakes and even tilted a bit I feel that my motivation is very high atm. and also despite the bad results.

            Last 100k hands.

Not great to be BE but had before that like 80k hands at 100nlz 3.5bb/100 so I think my real winrate is somewhere between 1-2.5 there. Obv. a lot work to do. Rb is set to 25% I'm not sure if it is even that high nowadays for SN at stars. I guess my spelling is even worse than usually but I'm tired.

I had a pretty good weekend..

Sunday was a day off for me cause I was out on saturday. I went to an outdoor swimming place on sunday, nice weather and did swim like 1-1.5km not sure cause didn't count but felt good. Played this night 1k hands at nl200 cause the pool seemed very soft + had the right focus. +4,5bin session.

H1) Imo horrible play by a reg. I did expect to see a hand such as AJs pretty often on the river or AQ turned to an bluff. Imo pretty wp with the small cb w. our hand on this texture. Also 3-betting J9s in these positions + calling the 4-bet is imo a bit too loose.

He seemed to be on the looser side so I guess shipping it pre isn't that bad but being 105bb eff. made me think it's closer to calling. I'm not sure how to play this post. Think it's a mixed strategy between call flop fold turn / fold flop. I don't think ppl go nuts w bluffs like AQ for entire stack generally. Even I seem quite capped. River was considering turning this to bluff but think TT is fine for that.

I ended 2k up yesterday. I could concentrate like 10-15min at a time and then had to take a break but I was willing to put volume in so I played a lot of 10-15 min session, went running in between and managed to put 2,7k hands in. I'm quite suprised of how awfull some "regs" or regfish are even at 200nl. I doubt these guys are winning players but they play 3-4 tables and some of them even put a lot volume in. I guess they are mainly ppl. who just have a lot of money and want to play poker (no need to win + willing to play pretty high stakes) or just addicts...

                  H1)

I guess turn x/back is sometimes okay to have something strong to call a river bet with. The small cbet will make him float fairly wide but think it's okay on such a dry text. River is okay I think. We could still have a hand like J8 so not that worried of being capped.

Vs. reg. I think AA, KK bets turn like 90% + I tried to make him get out of line w. my small flop bet trying to look like weak pocketpair. Turn I think he could x/jam some good draw or some AA, KK which puts me on a ****ty spot if I bet + just check back and we can bluffcatch any non A, K, Q river pretty happily and expect him to be on a too wide range.

Normally I would probably go with a flop x/back considering stacks + action vs. a decent reg. with jacks here.

I played smallstakes and micro MTTs today, was long in top 5 in chips at 5d big but then a few beats and finished 80th or something. I also played nl200 at the same time and made quite a few horrible mistakes cause I was too tired. Luckily I run 1k over EV and the session ended on BE but -1k ev is not good at all. At start I played well but then just was too tired and my concentration dropped to some C-D game level where I still had some sort of weird confidence to make stupid playes even I wasn't sure of the action.

H1) I thought that I squeezed pre and didn't even realize the cold call to 3-bet. Just terrible spazz the line from cold caller looks exactly like TT- JJ. I felt so bad after this I snap quit my session.

He seemed to be quite nitty so I just called pre. Should probably still just shove. River I thought it's a split most of the time and thinked that he probably folds a hand like A2 to a shove but I could have stuff like AQ to bluff here or 89 though I mostly call it pre. Anyhow should just take the showdown definitely.

I didn't get the point of betting huge vs weak range so I thought it looks like AQ or some passive played KQ... Anyhows I block them which is a pretty big problem + I sometimes can have like A6ss, A7ss here so should fold.

I think it's unneccesary to blame myself that much cause I didn't realy made mistakes worth 1k maybe worth 300-400. The KQ hand is the worst though Snowie says it's quite okay.... I've now realized how to get people to get out of line in quite a few spots but I need to work on not getting out of line on rivers when playing tired & just quiting before I start forgetting positions & make real awfull stuff like just happened. I should always think of my range and where I am at it, I feel that I just go with the flow if I'm tired and thats not good. Hard to have normal confidence + play analitycally while playing tired, it just turns to being overconfident for me. Not wanting to make weak folds when the folds would have been super standard in reality.

Nobody is a robot but winners win and losers lose. Thats how it goes everywhere and I don't want to lose so I'll keep working on this **** though it feels heavy. I feel that I've improved quite a bit lately. I know the hands I posted prove the opposite but I know it by myself..

I've been thinking of long term goals and decided that I want to beat the 200nl and move to 500nl. If I don't make 80k during 2017-2018 and move up to 500nl I've let myself down. Whatever it takes I'll do it. Even if I would go broke in between I'll do it. Poker has been my passion since I turned 18 and now after 3 years I'm stuck at a level every average who has worked on his game can get and I want to get over that point. And to get over I'll work on my game and put more hours and hands in than any average.

I'm tired of making the average 2k/month as it's been this year. With the time and effort I've put in it's not worth it which means I'll put more effort in studying to get better results. No excuses anymore.

Should shove the turn. River have to call though losing to QQ, JJ a ton but he might think KK is the best so often that just ships. Some "scared money" error for me to not ship turn which is standard though I don't obv. love the Q.

I had a read he is cappable doing crazy stuff which is I went with this line. I wouldn't call KQo pre but his turn shove is definitely ballzy with the blocker. If we can expect stuff like that can't ever fold AA. That was my biggest pot ever.

No especcial reads, solid looking reg. Had the blocker otr so called. He could have 78 or JJ turned to a bluff. Does that happen often enough? Not sure tbh. Maybe better should be to start with a check since we are deeper or bet flop x/ turn. Thoughts?

Not much info on the guy. Pre think fold or 4-bet is better actually in these positions. Flop is obv. better for me but raising this is too wide a bit w/o reads. imo. I think turn + riv are fine we don't get there with much bluffs generally.

This hand has a good equity but is it higher EV to use it as semibluff on the flop. I'm not sure. The EV is probably pretty similar as calling can't go that much wrong the guy was fairly nitty so I don't see much sets in his range. Making him fold the KK+ is good imo. On the other hand if we call the board pairs and he checks turn we have opportunity to turn this to bluff maybe etc.

I think thats okay on the river, he has hard time calling one pair aces which are the majority of his range. I don't think it's bad to sometimes x/call FDs for range protection on 3-bet pots but not a big deal imo.

He seemed very agro so I was considering what's best for turn. We obv beat ton of draws but calling sucks cause we never know on the river where we are in a ton of rivers he probably barrels. I was considering jamming but realized that I don't have the knowledge to say if it's +EV or not. I guess we can't take a line like raise 1/2p w/o info vs any stronger opponent cause of not knowing how he responses with draws. I don't know probably just take low variance fold the bottom of my range as standard.

The reg who jammed river seemed to be on tilt (was playing him long today made way overagre bluffs etc. and he reps super thin here. I can see the fish having often stuff like A-highs and he might be folding a 9 on the river facing shove + call. On zoom w/o reads would def. fold the river but here I'm not sure it's close. I was right about the reg but the fish happened to play his AA passive.

**** I think it's still too loose for me to call. The reg ain't bluffing much cause 3-way + fish the 56ss is the bottom of his range he should probably bluff though it's close. The fish will call too often to make this even close for us.

Sometimes I feel like taking lines I'm not sure are good or not and if I'm not playing my A-game the spots end up being -EV spots. Once I'm on my A-game the spots are pretty much always very clever and +EV cause I have a clear intuition.

I started grinding tonight and immediately felt pretty ****ty concentration wise and made maybe a pretty big mistake cause of not remembering preflop action. Just snap get it in here though looking at the preflop the sets are very well represented in his range and nothing much else tbh. by a guy playing 20/14. We block the top sets and there's the opportunity he has some AA or split QJss sometimes but too often it's a set imo.

Another stupid play I made was here vs. some russian fish. They don't give a **** about getting xR and will just station / shove way too much. I actually timebanked myself out on the flop and then just decided to panic raise cause thought he b/folds a lot broadways which wasn't true.

Third mistake was being a callingstation vs a guy who wouldn't probably ever bluff here and we need to be correct a decent amount of time against his sizing. I've been taking the line villain took both for value and as a bluff quite a lot but a guy on the tighter side is going to end up very value heavy.

Biggest mistake of today and I regret it and was suprised that I realy did it without even thinking much. I think some people would do the same and not even consider it being that bad but imo. it's same as stealing and I don't want to be a thief. I apologized later on the chat but still feel guilty as a rat. Sometimes everyone is frustrated and do stupid ******* things, nobody is perfect. Also sent him 20 usd.

                                                        -----------

Results weren't that bad but doesn't realy matter, if I play poorly I can't win. I banned myself from games above nl100. It's just important to beat 1 level at a time and build a decent bankroll. My results at 200nl were BE after 35k hands. It's just very easy to catch a 20-40 bin downswing. Anyhow I think playing against better opponents has improved my game and I guess I'll be back at 200nl fairly soon cause I'll keep working on my game and grinding. Good thing about banning myself is that I don't have to even consider playing there and I'm well rolled for the 100nl and sure I beat the limit. Basically my problem is my concentration, doing stuff without properly thinking and once grinding many days in a row I don't get to play my A-game much at all and my thinking process is just awfull pretty often. I need to find happiness from playing well and concentrating on every spot and give up on being results oriented. I'm just very used to autopilot play longsessions and somehow feel good about myself of putting like 5-8 hours a day in. But truth is my results would probably be much better just playing 4-5 hours a day and taking more breaks, playing less tables. I'm tired of making promises to myself I don't keep so I just try to write how things would be better and then this way try to find the strenght to make changes. I also decided that I'll move to Thailand next autumn so I need to get my **** together and build up bankroll before that. I mean it's pretty cheap to live there and I guess I could do okay even grinding like 50nl but better safe than sorry.

I feel a lot better after writing this and processing things at the same time. I have pretty poor self discipline it's been always so but I'm very honest to myself and that has saved me many times and will always help me. I also think that changing my playing habits as I mentioned will make my winrate to go up quite a lot but it takes a lot of strenght to change things. While running well in life and poker you can play very well have easy decissions get your borderline bluffs throw without thinking much but then facing a downswing or dissapointments in life what so ever everything becomes a struggle. I also maybe force myself too much while playing. I use it a lot while running or while I was doing lifting but I guess poker is kind of opposite cause it's not physicall it's just about concentration..

Have a good weakend hope you run good in life and poker!

Thanks guys you made my day!

I woke up 2 am today, started playing but felt super tired after 10 min. I layed in bed for like 30min more and tried to relax, wake up get energy, listened to music and managed to get positive mindset and concentration back. I played two hours with pretty good concentration, wasn't my A-game but I wasn't overtrying or pushing anything on marginal spots and fold button was my friend too. Monday and tuesday I'll take completely off from poker I'm now again feeling the signs of burning out but they just don't influence me much mentally because my I have so much passion to do this. It's anyhows not good for health to exhaust brain way too much. Only hand I wasn't realy sure I played okay was this: my idea on turn was to turn this into a bluff if I don't hit the river. We obv. have all the sets he doesn't and some 87ss since we are bit deeper + blockers to his 78ss so leading the turn is imo not that bad. River we want to go for value but once he jams could find a fold. I could have stuff like 89 here. It's possible though he turns a hand like some blocker spade to a bluff but those are quite a few combos he may show up with. Also I don't think many ppl. will try to get me off sets and straights here on 3-bet pot especcially 100nl. Calling w. 88 flush blocker would be better than this.

Now I'm going for a 5am run . I'm a bit worried of my shoulder I injured it on a ski accident on christmas this year (luxation) and now it cracked a little while doing chin ups and has been hurting constantly yesterday and today. I'll go see a doc. if it doesn't get away in few days. Today I played mainly with my left hand it actually makes me think more while making decissions. Anyhow pretty annoying and I don't feel that I deserve this right now but I have had worse and sometimes life is unfair. It's better just suck it up and keep grinding.

I took the two days off. I went out on monday ended up drinking too much and was quite hangovered yesterday. Atleast I slept pretty much over the full hangover day but still not feeling that great today. Anyhow continued grinding the 100nlz just 3 tabling and have been running well and also playing decently. Last month my mistakes were trying too hard to make it to 200nl and putting too much volume in when tired & playing on semi tilt without noticing. Now I'll learn from those mistakes just stick to nl100 and 3 tables and the results will come pretty surely. Last month ended like 300-500e up (livegames, mtt's + cash). I think I'll keep a normal sleeping schedule now. Waking like 6-8am. and going to sleep 10-11pm. so that I can quit pokerstuff at the latest 3-4pm.

I've trained my should with rubber band and swimming has felt good but it's still not good enough for push ups or chin ups. Will see how it goes.

I made some changes (3-tabling only and taking more breaks, not playing when I'm tired and paying attention to concentration). I started to play and run very well... Anyhow the motivation to grind is not super high cause the sun is shining etc. will prolly just play 4-5h max. daily and take it a bit more relaxed. Sometimes less is more and I feel like I've been playing realy lot on semi tilt lately and it's just unneccessary and exhausting + maybe even costing money. When I play A-game almost every spot is pretty easy decission for me. It should also be so but it's a bit unmotivating and I feel I'm not challenged enough anymore at nl100 but on the other hand I want to build discipline and bankroll so I'll keep grinding it.

Some thoughts about concentration I got during my session:

                                                          - After grinding 1h with one break I felt that I can't concentrate on a high level, my mind got full of outside poker thoughts

                                                          - Starting to analyze a hand during playing is definitely a No GO if I want to reach the zone. It takes focus away from present moment & hands I'm playing the same time. Taking notes is okay but should be done fast & effectively.

                                                          - On a spot where it's close and I see that there are game theoretically a lot of reasons to make call or agressive play it's 90% a fold for me if my first instinct was that it's a fold. My intuition is right the very most of the time... Sometimes I can't explain it clearly it might be the timing villain took or whatever but after looking at the hand backwards it all makes sense. I know if I would post such hands many ppl. would tell me you are results oriented etc. you can't do this you can't do that but I think that I'm actually pretty talented spotting those hands if I play my best game and there's absolute no reason to not do anything against the intuition if I know it's right the most of the time.

-> This leads to trusting my intuition when I know I'm playing my best game or close to it but then getting much more analytical if I see that my concentration is dropping.

                                                          -------------

It has felt like a huge releaf for me this week after I decided I play only the 3 tables, blocked the 200nl and after I feel that I don't want to play anymore I'm done for the day I just quit. It sucks if you never feel free and feel guilty of not playing enough and push yourself too much. It's much better to give 100% with passion and enthusiasm while doing something and when not then just 100% relax to recover. Not 60% this and 45% that and then a little bit brake and so on.... Concentration + discipline not much else needed atm.

That's good to hear, thanks man!

I made the changes I mentioned (less tables, not playing tired etc.) being on an upswing since then. I took the weekend off and have only put like 10k hands in but playing very well and month is 1,7k up. I think I'm technically pretty decent player but the winrate just dropped cause of too much volume + the B-C game & tilting sessions, stress etc. mental stuff. Simply too much sitting in front of my computer and then I don't give a **** anymore of how I play and the level of my game drops. This means that I should not be forcing myself to play and just play more A-game when I'm crushing and not think about poker when I'm off the tables. That's what I've been now doing and I feel much happier. Poker should not be 100% of your life . If I make round 3k / month in the next 3 months I'll have 20k saved and then I'm off to Thailand. Can't be that hard to do.

A bit crazy fold but think it's okay. I ain't like ever bluffing there and he shouldn't be bluffing me off much it would be crazy + I doub't he jams the top set cause I can't realy pot for value a set on the river. Kind of click call and always lose spot so you can just fold cause we run to A low pretty much all the time imo

Postflop I think could go 1/3p, 1/2p, 1/2p on many runouts. As played river is close I was realy looking for reasons to make it a fold but was kind of stuck at "trips are too high up in my range to fold" thought process. Tbh his sizings are strong + the FD gets there OTR + the most fish won't play weak trips that way -> Fold river

He snap b turn which usually means handstrenght didn't improve, it still doesn't outcount AA, KK , + can be AK but more rarely. Sizing is still much more often a valuesizing since he just leaves 1/2p for the river. People don't generally bluff like that.. Turn fold looks nitty but is probably better vs. the sizing though it's very close. If calling turn I think we should call river to get the info. Anyhow QQ blocks AQ which is the majority of his bluffs so even more of an easy fold on turn and calling with something else.

Imo a good x/call on flop since we have quite some x/folds there the flop hits the CO usually a bit better / I think equity wise it's like 50/50 but we don't have much range advantage or anything so letting him to start betting w. broadways that have not much equity vs. our hand is good. Turn I was considering x/jam could be there with some draw too but guess it's also okay to x/call. - not sure, if he bets a hand like QQ on turn he is going with it but river he wouldn't be shoving so I think turn x/shove makes more sense than the x/call.

River is then like sucky spot imo. for our range (not for this hand) cause would he try to get me off AA, KK ,QQ I'm perceived on since there are a ton of missed draws. Most ppl. wouldn't . I think his turn bet is just very bad with the KT.

Like if he has a draw its more likely he just stacks off on turn than that he bluffs the river imo. if he is an agre fish. + if he has a hand like AA there may come a bad card otr he shuts down. On the other hand if he is raising super airballs on the flop its obv. better to keep them in as happened now. I think the EV depends on his range and if we are not sure I think generally better to try stack off on the turn.

River - he knows he reps thin, would he try to realy bluff me off overpair or Tx here? If he would he needs to be a gambler type imo. Well is he? Not actually 23/19 a bit high barreling frequencies but yeah I don't think this is a spot ppl. try generally to make folds cause they know they rep thin and might bluff with whatever. Ofc. there are those guys who bluff every spot they can.

Have 1k depo bonus there but traffic is sometimes a problem. Also the zoom at party seems imo. a little softer than at stars but I have more sample from stars regs + have the supernova so I'm not sure where is it more +EV to put volume. I also dislike the party software and sucky timebank + betslider. Also don't get the point of making hell a lot of rules on party regular tables of which tables you can play same time and which you don't etc. like some of them are anonymous and some are just beginner friendly and blaah whatever don't get the point. They want rake so let ppl. play what they want...

Hard for him to get to river with 7 he tanked like 20sec and bet I just felt I'm always behind but can get him off sets and overpairs if he chooses to bet them - I pretty much insta shipped ... Problem is that he needs to be reasonalby intelligent to be valuebetting a set on the 4 straight texture or very bad to bet an overpair for value anymore. Fish check them the very most of the time. Anyhow as mentioned low PfR and vpip hard for him to get there with the 7, I don't think this is terrible bluff spot. You can rarely be 100% certain but the main context / situation is that fish check 4straight textures if they don't have the straight like 90% of the time so my bluff sucks - even it would be hard for them to have it. Actually he is prolly are reg looking at his sizings and against a reg it's imo not that bad bluff. The draws miss and so on but it's a spot people don't usually bluff and think he folds the sets vs. jam. Would prefer a passive line w. 77 turn is awfull if he gets raised and even he seems tight it's very likely higher ev 3bet pre than flat. I don't hate my riv. play but think fold is best ship is 2nd best and call is worst, thoughts?

Turn my sizing sucks and a bit hard for him to x/ship much worse anyhow if I have a read I go with the read wouldn't be the first time he shows up with stuff like AJ randomly + have outs vs. value range. Anyhows maybe better to check the turn though it looks weak, or bet 1/2p

Just feel like giving too much info posting hands I played well for my opponents. Ofc I could post without thought process but it's not beneficial or that interesting for anyone. Anyhow starting to understand which are good spots to do things and which are not... and feel like playing better than ever. I think that I improve & get ideas everytime I play my A-game at decent stakes vs. decent opponents. Grinding nl100 not super excited playing B-game with high volume is definitely also a thing that doesn't improve my game much.

Started with 3-tabling 100nl as a "warm up" and then moved to 200nl. I guess I've underestimated the need to take days off. Not a huge thing if you party or just hang out with people, do sports or whatever it just feels good to get back fresh and play without stress. I just see everything much more objectively after those days and am cappable of trusting myself a lot better.

H1) Sounds crazy but should fold turn. His timing + the sizing is set like 80% of the time + 100nl ppl are passive here with draws and stuff. River he doesn't expect me to fold anything + have a strong block to AK - anyhows should be finding a fold on the turn.

Preflop I think it's a balance play to cold call I don't do very often but doing it even occasionally makes me harder to play against in those situations.

The 3-bet is mainly for protection / info but it might make villain to light 4bet over // 4bet over with draws but I expect him to play fairly honest vs. it cause I wouldn't 3bet fold here AA type stuff I guess. The higher his vpip is the more harder it is to determine his range. (Low vpip nitty people don't flat small PPs, and don't flat middlebroadways so vs. them cbetting is better I think) Using flatting ranges in position is imo pretty underrated at zoom games.

The river is then close between overbetbluffing (block J9, have more AJ in my range I think he folds them most on turn) but weaker player is usually very incappable folding twopairs so guess giving up is the fine. Overbetting turn to 45d or something like that to narrow his range to Kx + would be imo fine (ofc. vs agre / total fish would not work)

Valuebet 78ss, T9, TJs, ATo/s, give up KQ. Using potsize would probably make his ev of calling the low Ax stuff -EV or close to it. The overbet is kind of unneccessary cause we don't have a huge range advantage or anything guess it looks bluffy so should go for it for value vs. certain ppl.

River its obvious the reg is capped to set of tens or AT vs. those hands I'm not sure he folds his entire range cause I could raise & turn worse two pair to bluff. Maybe better would be to go for a smaller sizing like pot. (he told me I'm a ****ing RB pro) and said now he knows why I don't have a winrate. Actually I'm glad people give me hate because they might be right at some spots and it's always beneficial for me to look at those hands later.
