So I don't really want to look at my April goals. Basically, they were all a pretty big failure. I took a bunch of smaller breaks because at times I simply didn't feel like playing. It's not my main revenue stream, so there really isn't much pressure if I don't feel like playing.
That being said, I do feel like I played better in April. I made more of a mental task to open more hands in later position. Yet if I look at the stats, it doesn't look different at all.
I'll post the graph, but there are so few hands that it's almost not worth it. As always, what happens when my blue line stays very stagnant? I lose, because my game style is to win more at showdown and not as aggro.
I also am currently on a 7 session losing streak. It's pretty absurd, but if I can win 7 in a row in poker then I can lose 7 in a row in poker. It's just very rare.
So, whats my plans for May? I'm going for lower goals. Mainly it's because I don't know yet how my new position will impact the time allotted that I can play poker. I'll adjust it for June once I have a better understanding.
-5 hours of poker play this week and 10 hours of play the remaining 3 weeks minimum
-Raise my VPIP/PFR! It's always a goal but it's dropped down yet again.
Let's get this thread and my original goals back on track!
