Re: Making $1,000,000
Do you really ever have a 3b flop range in 3bet pots OOP. Say villain opens BTN 2x and we 3bet to 8bbs from BB. We cbet 1/2 pot and he virtually clicks it back on the flop. Are you jamming if you continue or do you 3b small? 100BBs deep
Is this just a depends question?
how often do you donk turn after calling flop raises on drawy boards and turn bricks? ever?
what do you think are some of the more creatives lines you take vs specific regs?

no never, ill either call or jam or fold. I had a semi-interesting hand that relates to this but it was on bodog so no hand history. BTN opened i 3bet 46s or 57s or whatever. Flop came QQXr i cbet, he raised and i jammed. i didnt think hed be raising a value hand there ever.

never. if its a drawy board and i have a good hand im more likely than not 3betting the flop. maybe something to think about in the future tho.

im not a very creative player at all. i just try to play very funementally sound poker, and make the fewest mistakes possible. The only things i can think of that ive been doing as of late are overbetting flops and turns. im not feeling the river overbet because they can just herocall and end the hand but w the flop or turn overbet they have to fear the future streets a little, which sometimes ill overbet, sometimes ill bet a normal size, and sometimes ill just give up.

@ QQx hand
but since he reps nothing with a flop raise shouldnt you be flatting with like your entire range range? i mean if he knows you know he reps nothing and you jam... he can start r/c like A hi? obv prob wont happen but just kinda a theoretical question
i like flop and turn overbets, super hard to play against. only downside is you dont really know how most people are going to respond to them
anyways thanks for the reply! keep crushing

Re: Making $1,000,000
oh, first time I see this thread. Really interesting man. Sorry if u already answered it, but I was too lazy to look for answers in all the pages. How many tables/hours u play? Going for ELite?(not sure if u are plaing on stars, lol) And, what was the best kind of studies u made to be good at poker? (a book, a coach, etc.)
Ty and sorry for bothering. Subscribed for sure. GL

playing a lot of stars now to get 10/20+ action. not going for elite. might make supernova, but doesnt really matter to me weather i do or not. The amount of tables i play varries. usually 4-8. For hours id say about 8+, sometimes up to 20. usually around 12. Coaching deffinetly improved my game the most. ive prob done 30+ hrs with top coaches.
thanks, and not a bother at all.

Re: Making $1,000,000
Poker update: went on a 22k downswing mostly at 25/50 and 50/100. Then yesturday i got to play the sold out 1k at fallsview. The scalpers that bought all the tickets up got stuck with a bunch of extras (which is obv awesome). My friend and ieach got 1 for 900$ a peice. busted that. 25/50 is running there now tho so im going to play and probubly be there all day.
