How has Andy been doing?

Andy is stuck...Im taking today and tmorrow off until he leaves on Tuesday then Im prob going to grind Mardi Gras for a bit. After having lobster, shrimp and homemade pasta on South Beach its going to be hard to head back up to the Hallandale/Hollywood area hahah

I hope you take this as the constructive criticism that is meant to be, and not hate(cause its not -- i think your story is awesome)... but i really think you have to work on your work ethic in terms of getting out to play every day.

I don't mean to say you should be there in florida grinding 24/7 and not having any fun whatsoever, but for someone who is as alarmingly under-rolled as you you should be at least showing up and putting in an abbreviated session at least six days out of seven... even if that only means 3 or 4 hours at the tables between beach-bummin and going out at night.

For example, i think when chau was leaving and your bankroll was at its nadir, you mentioned that you had only played 7 out of 22 days. You posted that you planned to grind 10 days straight after that, but it seems from your posts that you only actually grinded a few. In all, you seem to be averaging that same one working day to every 2 days off ratio.

You seem to be able to make great things happen when you sit down at the poker table -- An overwhelming number of your sessions have shown black ink. Im just saying you should think seriously about making a committment to sit down more.

AE...thanks for the wake up call dude. I really needed it. Ive noticed that when Im with other people, my expenses more than double and the amount of time I play poker is cut in half. Andy is heading out on Tuesday so Im going to play a from Tue-Sat with no break. Maybe 4 or 5 hours a day. Seriously, thanks man. Ive been having such an awesome adventure for the past 37 days that I kind of forgot my goals. Ive won $3,405 dollars since Ive been in Florida. Ive spent the majority of all my profits which puts my bankroll at $1,800 right now. Time to get cracking, go on a little tear, get to 5k and go home. Then start a new adventure with the 5k! hahah

Looking good Mike! Try to keep the expenses down and the poker volume up. Will help your BR grow exponentially. Once you get the BR to allow you to fire other games (2/5, 5/10) you can start to spend like you are now

Agree 100%. You gotta play more and spend less on food and stuff. If you just want to dick around in Florida for a couple of months and play poker that's cool and totally awesome, much respect, but if you think you maybe want to do this for a while you want to be building your roll. You gotta get to a point where you're max buying in at any 1/2 table and taking shots at good 2/5 games to give yourself a shot at some real BR growth. Treat yourself to fancy food and drinks after got a nice BR of a few K and bad session or two can't put a serious dent in your roll and cramp your style.

Busto....naw, just messin! I did however get completely owned at 1/2 last night. I had 22 on 2 9 10. Got stacked by 99. I had 88 on K 8 3. Got stacked by KK. Had KK on 9 7 3. Got stacked by 33. All in on the flop each time. This monstrosity happened within 2 hours hahah. Then I managed to put in a huge bluff with 7 8. I check shipped the turn on a board of K 8 4 2. 3 spades. I had no spade. He folded AK faceup. Then I got 3 bet with 10 10 and check shipped on a A Q 2 flop. Knew he had KK and would fold. If he had AA and shat on card removal theory oh well LOL. I manage to get back to even when this had comes up. I have Q6 off in the bb. 3 limpers, I check. Flop comes 665. I bet 15 with my super aggro freak lunatic image. 2 callers. The turn is a 7. I bet 50. One guy calls all in, then other guy moves in for 27 more. I call. One dude had 6 2. The other guy had 7 3. River was a 4....bink for the gutterball to the bottom end. Its alright though. Andy just left. Im eating papaya infused pancakes. Im going to play poker tonight. Im going to play well. Im going to win money. That simple
