Ended up winning like 3k. Played meh. Been playing lots online so transitioning back was sketchy. Suspect you’re supposed to play real tight when there are 5 blinds haha. Had a good time. Will play on here again or at The Lodge next time!

I haven't looked at this PG+C section for a long time and accidently clicked it and saw this thread at the top. Started on the 1st post for a refresher and ended up reading a few hundred posts. lol

I caught the last hour or so of the stream and don't think I saw you play a hand, but were really card dead. Good to see you ended up winning, I guess you got some hands early.

I packed my car and drove to atlanta to hang out wit alec torelli for a day or two. talked about life and I dropped him off at the airport to go to amsterdam. I decided to drive down to florida with the last of my money. i partied in south beach for 5 days, played 1/2 at the hardrock and won 1k. I had a hotel for one day in atlanta and 4 days in miami, other than that ive been sleeping in my car. havent encountered the police yet, but last year they stopped me a whole lot on my last roadtrip. as of right now I set a goal to play 2/4 limit and see if I could win 500 in less than 24 hours. !m 3 hours in and im up 119. Im also writing "goal and adventure" articles that Im going to shoot to cardplayer. I graduated from suny albany and just dont want a real job. Next week im going to play 1/2 for 100 hours and try to get 1k into 5k...I set up shop at the hardrock in hollywood florida so hit me up if you want to hang out.

I tell ya, I had way more fun back then than I do now! I had no money and yet there was a joy to my life. A sense of adventure. I made friends easily and attracted new people to my life. Now I play 50/100 NL live and feel a constant dread. I have no friends. Its as if poker takes something away from you. Whether you fail or succeed it numbs you. I worked so hard to get a 94 sharkscope rating on PA stars. Countless hours of work away from the tables. There's no fulfillment. No light at the end of the tunnel. Trading youth and vitality for money is a fools proposition. I won a circuit ring in an online 1K. I imagine when I win a bracelet Ill be met with the same emptiness. Now that we got that cold harsh reality out of the way... I have been working on myself. I did therapy for a year. I live in a cool building with a nice pool and a gym. I take my dog to the dog park. I invest in myself more with healthy food. I bought a new MacBook Air and a huge monitor. I stayed in a suite at Vdara this past wsop. Im going to Dublin, Edinburgh, Berlin, Munich, Belgium, Paris, and Bordeaux in September. I microdose shrooms. I can't really complain. My dads a Jew so maybe that has something to do with the general misanthropy :/
Im registered for a stand up comedy course at the comedy cellar in NYC in October. I used to do theater, stand up, and improv in college. Playing poker turns you into a socially inadequate introvert. Ive begun reversing damage!

Thanks. I care less about poker "fame" nowadays and ironically that's when I started succeeded in poker. A lot of these streamers are interested in views and clicks and never improve. This year in the tournament of champions I received no love from poker news. Instead they covered this guy who is a whale on PA Stars and WSOP. Poker media is backwards, man!

Glad to see u made it to 50/100nl thats pretty much sposed to be the pot at the end of the rainbow. mad inspirational lol if ur down on life u should prob just find more hobbies and use those other hobbies to make friends so it isnt all about money like with poker.. also from what ive seen most ppl who make it to the finish line get alot of joy out of helping others get there too. maybe coach to make more friends and alil extra on the side even if it isnt worth the ev cost opportunity compared to just playing poker. if u charge the right amount the ppl who contact u wont be bums and u might make some normal friends. video games are always fun too. every now and then i play command and conquer yuris revenge online.. thats a great teamwork game thats been around 20 yrs and theres still noobs and theres plenty of other games. maybe go back to school parttime to learn stuff about the world or just make friends also. whats ur wsop username? im stdandzooted

Sure! here's a hand from 50/100 live. We are 10k effective.

Ive been on an online mtt kick lately. The online mtt where I live are kinda small but I still enjoy them and have good results. Plan on playing the Wynn 10K in December!

The pot at the end of the rainbows empty! I try to help my cousin who plays 1/2 and 2/5 but the person has to want to improve. I was just like him at his age. Egotistical and stubborn and wasted many years grinding while playing poorly. Youth is wasted on the young.
Im an Assassins Creed nerd haha. Nothing quite like taking an edible and playing xbox. I like old school games tho like Resident Evil 1-3, Vandal Hearts, Skies of Arcadia Shadow Hearts to name a few.

Im Mr.Pink1992 on WSOP PA

Looks like OP is crushing harder than ever. He just took down two events in one weekend at the Potomac Poker Open for almost 300k, including the 1mil guarantee main event!

legendary scene. epic wins lately GG. i pride myself on being 92 or 93 on sharkscope(though ill never be satisfied)last i checked and 94 is no joke. the more i study dif ppl on there (1k searches a day limit) i realize as long as ur between 90 and 100 u can crush and even much lower however it really comes down to where and who u play. i just watched this and its funny how it all started w xbox. never owned one only played halo at friends houses

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0D2Gsok5wgI

when i get more time in a month or so id be down to be coached in case u want students. i agree w wat u said how ppl have to have the drive to get better as well. i put in anywhere from 500k to a few mil hands a year. can relate with alot of what u said and continue to say. anyways gl pls keep updating its always a good read
