Have you not seen my PG&C? I've put stacks in dead a few times ahaha..I mean i get it, but we have like 12 outs? And 8: isn't that bad of a card really so dare I say "clean outs" lol..I think just checking back to realize equity is best IMO.
That being said, sometimes you gotta let er rip and pray LOL
i'd actually look at everyone else's folded cards. this is one of those hands where it's so aggro / bad that it makes you wonder if SB is colluding with someone and one of the players that folded pre folded a 6.
Re: collusion. This guy was playing like 70% VPIP so I doubt it (I mean even if someone folded a 6 shouldn't I still be heavily weighted to trips+ after calling a flop 3 bet multiway?). That being said, it's a good idea to check anyway, thanks for the suggestion.
In fact I do check occasionally but since it takes some time, I only look at reggy players. I have never seen any suggestion of colluding players at my stake. I'm sure there exists unfair play somewhere in the online poker world, but I feel like the reputation is greatly damaged by riggies spewing bullshit that it is widespread in order to justify to themselves why they can't win (see the Ignition thread on 2+2), it's very sad.
To be fair to them, the human brain is very fallible to seeing false patterns- it is inevitable for many people who aren't studied in this area to believe the game is rigged against them somehow. I should have practiced gratitude that I am lucky to have strong logic skills rather than just call them riggies (aka idiots), but yeah that was my initial reaction lol. On a related tangent, the same people saying poker is too hard in 2021, it's not, literally anyone who loves the game and has motivation/discipline can make a nice living off of it. Also damaging to poker reputation

Thank you for the comments everyone!
Was kinda in the mood for NLHE, haven't played in a bit so my theory is weak and freestyled some betsizings
So interestingly enough, someone did fold a 6 in the suspected collusion hand, that being said I believe it is purely coincidental, I mean it's like a 1/3 chance or something
Especially because I played this beauty of a hand against that same player who folded the 6 in the previous hand (additionally, the aggro player in the previous hand with 9874ss was the UTG player who bet/folded flop in this one)
The first hand..yes thats the variance I was talking about. I mean i wish I could say I knew what it felt like to be BTN but I just don't have the good ol Q974 triple suited in my 3b CALL COLD 4B range LOL
That second hand is just wow.. I didnt think people were capable of that, I guess he thought you had AA and was trapping flop..either way taking it down on the turn is niceeeee...
Using some old school logic of "no one ever bluffs in this spot, therefore I should bluff here". Pretty proud of this one, I felt in game he would fold anything that wasn't J9 exactly. But who knows maybe with J6 he'd just be like fk it I can't fold this it's too high up in my range. Either way I feel like I'm getting more comfortable with my game and willing to open up some creative options
what did you expect villain/fish to fold ? shocked by BB folding QQ here and then the 555 losing to one combo of J9 on the other hand. With that said, both of these spots are extremely underbluffed in my opinion... still doesn't stop people from making "bad" calls or whatever ime.
ya x/r turn with the QJT8 I feel like gets snapped by most Jxxx hands as they should often have 9 perceived outs if behind
I'm not surprised at all by the 55 fold, I would fold it as well in villain's shoes, and most of the pool would too. I don't know at all but I suspect 55 would be folded here in solverland even.
In the AKJ5ss hand I believe villain can fold quite a lot of hands, and I can even get it in good sometimes vs combo draw. Solvers may not recommend it but I believe plenty of recs in villains shoes would be tempted to raise with something like KJThh or JT8hh (3 card combos), or something like AQ or A9 with hearts, no?
CO shows A A T 3 (Four of a Kind, Threes)
(Pre 63%, Flop 86%, Turn 92%) Hero mucks 7 K J K (Full House, Threes full of Kings)
(Pre 37%, Flop 14%, Turn 8%) CO wins 208.8 BB
Yeah I kinda like a flop call in a strategic PoV, but I think considering some of the play I've seen on this site there's just too much value not to raise.
