Nice little hand to round off the session. Bankroll was at 5200 and decided to take a nice little 1 buyin shot at 200PLO zoom full stacked (i like round numbers/im a degen etc.), villain seems to be a decent reg from what ive seen of him.
Note the turn sizing is basically designed to make the SPR exactly one on the river, as the villain either a) has the nuts and wants to set up a river shove* or b) air/weak showdown value which he plans to turn into a bluff on the river, so maybe check/shoving the turn wouldve been a better play given this sizing tell and how difficult it can be to play the river.
*(unlikely in this case, as 89 is vunerable to nearly half the deck on the river, if not more, so he would likely bet bigger, unless he had nut hearts or a set to go with, which is highly unlikely)
As youll see, it actually works perfectly for me as i bink the old 3 outer for the nuts, and it seems like a clear check given what was said about the turn sizing, paired with the fact that lead-shoving looks suuuuuuuper strong and barely ever gets paid off by worse (IMO), sure enough im lucky enough to get bluffed into to win a massive pot.
