i have been playing HUSNGs for about 14 months now, semi-professionally and about 8 months of STs

started last year on august 1 with 1K at the 11$ turbos on ftp and I believe i have done quit well so far.

HOWEVER lately there have been a lot of hickups or roadblock, the main one being ftp shutting down and taking about 65%
of my lifetime profits while doing so. Having spent the other 35% on living expenses, i am currently on a staking deal, and literally dead broke.

Being dead broke has some not so fun consequences;
-Currently i am homeless, my parents dont want me to live at home unless i get a job (8$/hour) or attend a university.
-Job seems rediculous, in worst case i could just grind 50$ turbos and be off better then getting a job!
-University, i cant afford the tuition or the rent for a place to live. However my parents are willing to front me the university money
IF i quit poker, but not the money for an appartment. And honestly I really dont see myself getting up at 6 AM waiting for train to take me to
different city then wait for bus etc, to arrive in class at 8:30 on time, and already be exhausted.
-Maybe I could apply for student loans as someone has suggested me earlier, but i have never heard of anyone having that here in belgium,
and honestly, im just trying to make the best out of a ****ty situation, since Day 1 ive always loved and been fascinated by poker.
And I know i can only bring my A-game when im in a period of my life where im truly obsessed with poker.

Which brings me to my next point.

I have decided to play professional poker for the next 12 months (around this time university starts, so if all fails i will go there next year+ live with parents)

The goal is simple ;

Play poker online
Win 250K$ (post rakeback)
Make SNE / be on pace

perhaps its more of a 250K in 16 months kinda thing, because till the end of 2011 i just want to grind hard so im in a +EV spot
to start the SNE chase.

ive calculated around some, and seems like 4K games at 300$ ABI/ month is enough for SNE.
Which is really really doable for me i think.
Won't be easy tho

why do i say /be on pace? well imagine im up 50K by this time next year, and totally not on pace for SNE then there is a good chance that i will abort this challenge
and use the money won to invest it in my studying future + place of my own again.

So actually im going for 250K profit and SNE in 2012
But i might quit poker in september 2012 if not on pace.

Alot of things in my life right now depend on me being succesfull in online poker and after running pretty horrible on stars so far ive just made supernova
and am 200% remotivated, i will post many updates here, and some strat now and then.
If there is some interest i might even post where im currently residing and some funny homeless grinder storys on the side ^^
I will also try and finish 2 books ive started writing not too long ago.

as far as STs go, i have gotten coaching from mersenneary mainly, and lived 1 month this summer with some ST regs like BETTERWAYS, Valuelol, Serkules, Moca Choca89, Wowkka, niceiq25
and i really think i am 4x the player i was when i played sts on ftp. because of the things i learned from those people.

and zzzz fanboys, no i dont want to give out serkules contact info and no i dont want to talk about his game or what i think he does so much diff/better then everyone else or anything.

im sure ive forgotten to talk about alot of things, but i just want to get the grind started

Would try to get some loan or w/e to not be homeless. I assume you live with friends? Because subconsiously it probably affects your results.

@Nuxx, succes is my only option, yes, living with friends on couches, going to vist some pokerplayers if travelling is cheap when im able to cash out 1K or so +-

@Emotionx pressure motivates me alot, in the end on ftp, i started feeling too comfy and my play surely suffered

also, i really am one big fishreg lol if anything hypers i suck the least in hehe, so seems like only option

but wouldnt be easier to earn something like $10k-$30k and move to some super cheap place like thailand/paraguay etc?

you could do that with no pressure at lower stakes in 6 months + you would give back all money you are staked

there is way too much pressure and you can easily fail this challenge

pretty happy bout how i played this hand, thought it was interesting

Your parents are exactly like mine, or find a job or go to school or get the **** out. I was even once kicked out of the house cause I drove a car without insurance and didn't want to let it go. One day later I decided to sell/bring it to the dumpyard though

Its not nice and all but it's pretty understandable that your parents think you have to find a job or go study since FTP stole all your money, doesn't make online poker look really reliable. Minimum wage is 8 euro /hr btw, not $8,-

On a sidenote: Je moet live gaan spelen in Brussel tegen de tijd je daar de roll voor hebt, zoveel vis, (drugsrunnertjes etc. die van hun geld afwillen). Kan ook wel naar Namur maar daar spelen ze vals. (althans destijds).

yeah spice pretty much, im not actually HOMELESS HOMELESS

but i have no address of residence, no appartment or 'kot' to my name and i cant crash at my parents, so i am homeless, but i have tons of good friends who take good care off me, however it wont last forever

but its not like im sitting on macbook in station yeah ^^
