So I've done my time at the micros (lower end micros) and worked my way up to 50nl and was taking shots at 100 but back in january I had to withdraw 3k and went on a pretty bad ds shortly after playing outside my roll at 50nl/25nl. For the past 2 months now I've been struggling at 10nl and taking shots at 25 but I've been getting raped. I don't know what it is but my 50nl wr is better than my 10nl (both pretty significant samples).

I just can't take 10nl seriously anymore. Everyone is really bad including the regs and my recent downswings at 10nl have been more tilting to me than my 10+ bi downswings at 50nl. My 10nl graph looks like a lie detector test. I have been 9-12 tabling and up to 16 at some points just trying to grind the rb $$ so I can get back to 50 but my lack of focus/motivation along with my **** variance is just knocking me lower and lower and is super stressing.

So I thought I'd start up a new challenge to keep me focused and motivated. After playing some risky sessions at 25nl my current roll is at $203. I can't afford going busto. This is do or die for me so from now on I will be 6 tabling and trying to take 10nl more serious and putting more focus into my game. I'm still going to be playing risky brm but I will move back down when I must but lets hope my luck turns around cause I've been getting absolutely raped.

I'll make daily updates and I might also post a hand every now and then and I'm open for discussion or w.e. Wish me luck and as always mila kunis for GL

Ok here we go, starting up a session. Hopefully I start out with some good variance cause I can't handle any more downswings lol. I'll try and be more focused and respect the game more than I have been doing in recent days.

Played 3k hands today, down $6. Made a few mistakes towards the end when my ADD started kicking in lol. So yea first part of my session I was playing good but running bad, and second part I'm not too happy due to my lack of focus once again but at least I didn't lose a bunch of bi's. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Keep it up man! Know how you feel with lower stakes being more tilting, keep studying and you'll be back at 50nl in no time

I play a mix from $5-$20nl. I have been running like a god at $20 and can't beat $5-10. I think part of the reason is calling or betting for change as opposed to calling/betting actual dollars. I know this isn't how it should be done but I can't help calling my draws for 15 cents even though I'm getting bad odds.

So this is the graph since the start of my challenge. Nothing new here this is practically what my entire 10nl graph looks like, so damn swingy idk why. I was playing well imo except in the last 1k hands or so made a couple of bad mistakes.

Gonna play another session now, hopefully I catch some nice variance, if vice versa I'm shooting myself lol.

caught a nice heater, graph still really swingy though roll is $357

won a bit more and got my rb for the week roll is $409 so doubled my roll in a bit over a week. This is going better than I expected so far. Fingers crossed I don't get raped again.

didn't play much over the weekend. only put in 3k hands the past 3 days. gotta make up some ground in the next few days. current roll $425

played some more 10nl today and roll is now at $450. Currently contemplating whether or not I should take a shot at 25nl now or wait till I'm at 500. Like I said I'm playing loose brm but my 25nl game plan is to move back down if I fall below 400. My original plan was to wait till I have 4 bi's so that would be a 500 roll but I might take a shot now.

So I had some internet connection problems the past 2 days, still do... long story. Anyways I ended up taking the lower variance path and just continued at 10nl br is now $477 and with my rb tomorrow I'm close to 500 so I'm going to take a shot at 25nl. Hope I start out good this time, wish me luck.
