Re: $Indabank111's SNE 6-Max Hyper Thread

Brutal day for me, worst one I've ever had playing sngs. Normally I'd be feeling really down right now but the combination of being staked, having money in the bank(no pun intended), and knowing I have a great coach to help me with my game if needed makes me not care nearly as much ;]

Time to skype with the gf and then review some HH's to make sure I don't suck!

Aiming for the sky setting 300K, I dig it. Humph, didn't know they had higher stakes hypers running. I hope Lee Jones is watching over you there!

Re: $Indabank111's SNE 6-Max Hyper Thread

Pretty happy with my volume today. Finally was able to put in a couple of solid 3 hours sessions. Hopefully I'll start actually making money again soon :]

Today's session

Last two days for me. Was down 100 buyins at one point which is always fun.

Month in total.

Time to put in a big study session and find some leaks to plug!

Anywhere from 8 all the way up to 20 depending on how the games are running. I'd say I average about 12-14 most times though.

Tbh I'm not 100% sure, only have about a 5k sample so far. The games have been insanely filled with regs lately so maybe 0-2% with how they are now and possible a couple of %'s higher if/when they're softer.

Thanks I intend to start a heater any day now ;]

Re: $Indabank111's SNE 6-Max Hyper Thread

Well, things still haven't been going so well poker wise. Here's my graph of games I've played since I last posted.

Pretty terrible volume but I've been doing a lot of studying and chilled most of Easter with family.

My month so far.

Super fun 120 buy-in swing from top to bottom lol. If you can take anything positive away from runs like this is that it makes u look at your game even more critically than normal. This can lead to you making +ev adjustments you wouldn't have realized if you were running normal or above EV.

Yea sure I'm running way below expectation for month. The thing is you have no control over that, it's gonna happen from time to time and is part of the game. All you can do to lessen the extent of stuff like this happening is get better and put in more volume.

Sounds simple but I feel like a lot of poker players obsess over the fact they're running bad and expect things to change because they "deserve" to run better soon. I'll admit I do this from time to time and it's a huge leak I'm working to fix :]

Re: $Indabank111's SNE 6-Max Hyper Thread

Well... the bad run continues.

From top to bottom that's a 180 buyin swing and I'm about 120 buyins below EV :] Red line is pretty crappy, only at like 1% for the month. I've started game selecting instead of blindly registering every game which I think is key for these. It's gonna kill your edge when your playing in games with 4 other regs and lead to the possibility of swings like the one above.

Even with that my hourly "should" be about $150/hr including SNE so not terrible. It's fairly frustrating considering how much I've been working on my game lately but complaining doesn't accomplish anything. Just gotta keep on grinding/studying and one of these days I'll start making some money again ;]
