Well, things still haven't been going so well poker wise. Here's my graph of games I've played since I last posted.
Pretty terrible volume but I've been doing a lot of studying and chilled most of Easter with family.
My month so far.
Super fun 120 buy-in swing from top to bottom lol. If you can take anything positive away from runs like this is that it makes u look at your game even more critically than normal. This can lead to you making +ev adjustments you wouldn't have realized if you were running normal or above EV.
Yea sure I'm running way below expectation for month. The thing is you have no control over that, it's gonna happen from time to time and is part of the game. All you can do to lessen the extent of stuff like this happening is get better and put in more volume.
Sounds simple but I feel like a lot of poker players obsess over the fact they're running bad and expect things to change because they "deserve" to run better soon. I'll admit I do this from time to time and it's a huge leak I'm working to fix :]
