yes.

I always tell myself to quit if i lose 3 buy-ins, because i ALWAYS tilt/lose more and end up losing 10 buy-ins. Yet EVERY GOD DAMN TIME I keep playing, and obviosly losing. If Ipoker could just introduce stop-losses, I'd literally kill

1. - His range for calling flop and turn is gonna be draws, Jx and Qx. His range for calling the river will be KQ+. IE, he's gonna fold the neccesary ~35%.

2. - I think we can make a safe assumption and say that he never plays strong hands like this (IE sets and 2pairs). So his range for doing that on the river will look like strong kings and missed draws/PPs turning themselfes into bluffs. He will fold that range to a CRAI close to 100% of the time.

Thanks man, I will. A few good sessions (+ I get rakeback tomorow) and I'll be back.

Edit: I don't even think I played that bad today, I just ran into hands literally every time.

Obv I'm not a HU specialist or pretend to be at your level of play, but I sometimes suffer the same blood boiling "mental haze/daze/craze" that upgrades my bad sessions to crippling (moreso last year than this year).

The only way to beat it is to strengthen your mental game. Whether it's printing in big font your 3 (or w/e) big rules of poker (e.g. "1. Crush 2. Quit after losing three BI's 3. Repeat") and taping it next to your monitor as a constant reminder or finding a way to make yourself physically get up and leave the computer (make a sandwich, read the Swedish equiv to ESPN mag, etc), you need to find a way train the brain so you can be your own stop loss ref. In my case it helped a ton when I started to distinguish between my ego and my goals for poker and try separate the two. Not a completely changed man, but a better player for it. Now I either close down my poker client and play dumb flash games or go hang with the soon-to-be Mrs.

You can't change the past results, but you can change how you respond in the future to similar events. Get back on the grind pony and you're back on your way! Rooting for ya OP!

and subscribed.

Re: I'll play nosebleeds by the end of this year

So, finished a short session, +250$.

Biggest winning hand:

iPoker - $2 NL - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

UTG: $338.80
CO: $197.00
BTN: $197.00
INVALID POS: $352.45
Hero (SB): $225.00

INVALID POS posts SB $1.00, Hero posts BB $2.00

Pre Flop: (pot: $3.00) Hero has 2 2

fold, fold, BTN raises to $6.00, fold, Hero calls $4.00

Flop: ($13.00, 2 players) 3 T 4
Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($13.00, 2 players) 6
Hero bets $6.50, BTN raises to $20.00, Hero calls $13.50

River: ($53.00, 2 players) K
Hero checks, BTN bets $38.00, Hero raises to $199.00, fold

Hero shows 2 2 (One Pair, Twos)
Hero wins $126.00

(Easy thought procces, he's never checking back a FD as the PF aggresor, so he can never have a flush. IE, he either has a bluff or 2pair/straight. Both of which fold to a CRAI. Easy game)

Biggest losing hand:

iPoker - $2 NL - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (INVALID POS): $227.00
BB: $202.40

BB posts SB $1.00, Hero posts BB $2.00

Pre Flop: (pot: $3.00) Hero has A K

BB raises to $6.00, Hero raises to $18.00, BB calls $12.00

Flop: ($36.00, 2 players) 6 9 T
Hero bets $24.00, BB calls $24.00

Turn: ($84.00, 2 players) 4
Hero checks, BB bets $54.00, fold

BB wins $83.00
