Had some legit shots at some princely sums today. Got 5th in the Turbo Multi-Hundo with 10k+ up top. Lost AKs<KJs for a legit shot to win the whole thing. But obviously ran pretty good to make it that far, a shame the games are so top heavy on FTP when I don't win!

Also got 7th in the 51 Hyper, didn't make too many mistakes i don't think which is good considering how hard hypers are with future game considerations and all. Then made deep runs in the Sunday 500 and the 109 Turbo. Can't believe regulars are making plays like these in 2015 still.

So villain in this hand isn't someone I consider tough or aggressive at all. I actually think his 4b range is weighted incredibly strongly to value. FWIW I think I should still jam pre, especially in a Super Progressive KO.

Anyways, the 4b sizing gave me really bad feelings. Didn't think he would do this with QQ very often so I was looking at a range of KK+, some discounted AK. Flop and Turn he just starts dumping his stack in.

KK has 47.5% equity vs KK+/AK in this spot. Which makes the play standard of course given pot odds. If we start adding bluff combos (maybe a bad AQ, maybe some JT of spades type hands), then we're just mega good. But if we actually think he might just flat AK pre, we're toast to one hand only here.

Is it results oriented thinking if these are all my thoughts as I play the hand and the results line up? One of the huge indications that he might just always have it in this hand is the fact that he turned this into a two street game for stacks despite blocking all of the top value hands on this board. To me this indicates a combination of weak regular/scared money that makes this spot really gross. Anyways fun hand, would get stacked again infinite times across parallel universes.

Kind of a lame day today. Got 5th in the Sunday Brawl (first FT of it I think) to daysave but Sundays are just getting really big buy-in wise. I only got 5k or something but first was 19k, FTP is very top heavy. So overall I think I was slightly losing after firing the $600 Whale, Party $500, FTP Super Sized, and others.

Got 10th in the T-Rex (1st= 7.8k) and 10th in the Microgaming $215 Major (1st was 6.4k Euro or something there). Not where I wanted to be at the end of the day :P

Those tournaments have really cool names tho. Brawl, T-Rex, Whale.

No I'm not saying you were annoyed by the outcome. I'm saying that if you were even only slightly worried about top set the guy has to be an insane nit.

Had one of the best poker days of my life yesterday playing at the ESPN featured table. Starting the main event soon 50/237. Next few days are pretty huge will just do my best and not try to sweat the results. Shoutout to madamadadane and simpledude16 for teaching me so much and putting me in this position

lobby > settings > cards > and click on 'show full hole cards (holdem only)
