Hu SNG Turbo Challenge; Lets score a free holiday :)
Hello Fellow Gamblers,
The time has come that I need to start my own challenge on Pokerstars.
I’m 21 years old and still in college
I’m currently playing low-med ( $30-100$) turbo HU SNGs on Pokerstars. After I moved out of my parents house to live on my own. I decided that the time has come to move up in stakes( poker moneys is extra not main income )
My goal is to move out of the low-med stakes and start playing higher stakes.
This is how my brm look likes.
Roll : $750 playing 15’s and 30’s
Roll: $1500+ playing 15’s 30’s and 60’s
Roll: $2100+ playing 30’s and 60’s
Roll: $3000+ playing 60’s and 100’s
Roll: $7500+ 100’s and 200’s
Goal : 10k
To make my challenge more interesting I made a side bet with my dad. If I reach 10k at the end of this year. He will pay for my road trip trough USA ( im from Europe). If I don’t succeed I pay his holiday.
My Start roll after moving out is $750,-
In this thread I post graph’s + Key hands and maby some strategy.
After each session I update this thread.
My Daily Schedule
Morning: Studying/ School
Afternoon: Studying/ School / Review Some Sessions / Play an hour
Evening: Play 2 hours and socializing with friends/gf.
I Try to play at least 12 hours a week and review 6 hours a week.
I start playing tomorrow because I have an awesome party.
GL all at the tables.
PS sorry for my bad english, working on it

fold pre or 3bet if he opens alot and he has folded before.
donk on flop 1/2.
as played i would fold on turn. before calling think about that 80%+ times he is going to bet river also.
GL by the way !

I disagree with all of the above.
Folding A7s pre vs an unknown is awful. even With specific reads that we should 3bet bluff a lot (which we don't have here) there's still gonna be more value in flatting it (3bet bluff some 58s etc, stuff we don't really want to call a 3x with).
We check the flop because most unknowns are going to be cbetting pretty much their entire range
Folding turn is less horrible that everything else you said, but as we look weak we're not expecting villain to shove anything like 80% of rivers, we can call smaller bets on a lot of cards, and we're getting good odds.

Isn't that overplaying A7 ? Nice, stack off oop vs A8 on low board. GL.
Its great board for villain to cbet and represent A or Q if he misses flop. He does not. And on turn he c/r . I doubt that it's a bluff and he wouldn't do that with worse hand, cause he could c/c with showdown value.
