Caloric theory isn't perfect but is an effective and simple way to track these things. Also you can't turn fat into muscle, but these are things you'll learn a long the way. Be skeptical of extreme positions eg. calories are complete BS, avoid all carbs, etc - most things in nutrition fall into some reasonable mid range, there's very few secrets or shortcuts.

Yeah, from what I've also heard from a lot of people there really is no secret, its like everything must slowly pace and slowly start eating more and more.

Admire your goals and courage to up and elope to Cambodia and good luck with it.

However 46kg? I think a doctor would probably consider steroids! Do you have to fight against strong winds out there, concentrate on putting on some size mate

I was pretty drunk last night, I ended up falling asleep for 3 hours (lol). Will post hands right now vs the reg.

Hand #3: He was the level-y, type I rep "nothing" I was pretty damn confident he was gonna shove light, I was happily snap calling.



Biggest Losing Hands:

Hand 1: When I was jamming its not like I would think he would fold AX, but his range was so wide on the flop. Still looking back at it now call and bluffing river>>> semi-bluffing turn.



Hand 2: Calling has its merits (he's proven to be a idiot and jam with nothing), but these type of boards are a bit different has flushdraws/ two middlish connecting cards, I can rep more. SO I call flop to let him bluff on further streets.



Hand 3: NOTE: GOOD bluff against majority, BAD bluff against this guy.
Was trying to make him fold that type of hand, mainly was targeting Kx/Qx though.

At max I was only benching 60 lbs. I don't go to the gym anymore though, because of my extremely light weight. What I am doing is just doing pushups/sit ups at home, in Mexico when I'm able to purchase food and bulk up for cheap then will be back at the gym. Really sucks because I was enjoying the gym too.

Because I read, and heard from a lot of people that going to the gym takes a lot of energy and you would be able to need to replenish it with food. Over here in cambodia there isn't much available that I can eat that would make me pick up weight in a healthy way. You need more than just sit ups and push ups. Get a pull up bar, some resistance bands and some dumbells atleast if you wont go to the gym. You will gain weight fast if you bulk up your legs. Do squats, lunges, walking lunges.

They dont have chicken breast, oatmeal, tuna, peanut butter+bananas, eggs or milk in cambodia? Those are simple and will help you gain. I have crazy metabolism too. I feel your pain. I got the flu and didnt work out/eat right for 60 days and lost 12 pounds. You have to force yourself to eat even if youre not that hungry. GL!

Ok so I should be focusing more on squats. At first I only did dumbells actually, but did it for hour long (so I shouldn't completely cut it and switch to sit ups and push ups strictly)?

Yeah they do but prices are kinda ridiculous. Just don't know if its worth it doing it now and spending extra. for example A gallon of milk is 5$ vs in the US its 2.5$. I already do eat a lot of egg. I think I will just buy peanut butter+ bananas, because there not too expensive and they can last a while (even if its not adding that much weight atleast its adding a bit!! slow and steady)! Well you know how to pick up weight so it will always be easy to restart! The forcing myself part is kind of hard, because I don't play poker on a full stomache its really hard to. Although at night time I do do that, eat eat eat til i'm full ! Huge thanks for the advice one of the best inputs because 1) you have results and been through similiar things and 2) you were very precise with the information! I really appreciate it

I felt so dumb. I couldnt figure out why there was like 1K missing on the HEM, and 10 BI ev just suddenly disappeared I thought I just imagined everything and was overexaggerating it when i spoke to gordon. Anyways stupid me forgot to add another site in "another account" It took me along time to realize this lol(actually my stupidity probably paid off, because atleast I couldn't blame bad runs entirely during the bad days)

Anyways from running hotter then the sun(20 BI above ev) to running 12 below ev!

Metabolism don't vary as much as people think (unless you have a rather severe metabolic disorder).

ImaCHAMPION if food is twice as expensive in Colombia how do the locals afford food? In any case perhaps spending an extra $80-$120 or so per week on food would be a worth while investment? Putting on weight would improve both physical and mental improvement (the brain takes up a ton of oxygen/energy).

Edit: Also at this point I wouldn't be too worried about how the weight is going on - if you're going to the gym that's great, if not then bodyweight stuff is totally fine too, or even just going for a walk each day. If you can get high quality food great, if not then stuffing your face with whatever potatoes, rice, bread, milk, meat, chocolate, etc is going to be a better option than eating "healthily" and staying at your current weight (it has many negative health effects in itself). Trying to get everything perfectly lined up (food, exercise, etc) is like a 400lb dude waiting for his state of the art gym, personal trainer, food plan, etc when in reality he just has to start by eating less, especially in the beginning.

Most of the healthy/american related food is expensive but everything else is cheap. it really depends on how "luxurious" you want to live life. theres some place where they give you a decent amount of food+ a lot of rice for 1.5$. Yeah I can spend 3-4$ a day and live off of it, but its just food that gets you full, and a lot of people take that route.

That is also true, makes a lot of sense, and its not gonna be so long that i'm over paying for everything. Was just thinking that its better that i should do it later, but realize i will prob play better too so its probably a better investment.

I mean all of this is just my opinion so take it fwiw, but I think supplementing meals with the cheap food is far superior to going without. Eating what you normally eat now then adding in a meal or two per day from this $1.50 place would make a huge difference - perhaps putting on 2-3lb/s per week. I'd be getting over this aversion to "unhealthy food" or trying to perfect your weight gain regime before you start it, even if you put on 15lbs of fat and 5lbs of muscle over the next few months that's amazing (which would happen if you ate a little more and only did light exercise), if you can get to a gym or be on a solid bodyweight progam it will be more like 10lbs/10lbs or each, but either option is a massive success.

Yep, I think its great opinion. Yeah I think i will be eating everything im normally eating and just adding 2 peanut butter sandwiches/1banana/1 glass of milk everyday. Think will also allow me to get use to eating a bit more and more. And then eventually think will be adding more foods thoughts? or should i be adding different type of foods?

Looks good to me, different types of food aren't really necessary - if you get bored and want more variety then go for it but at this stage I'd just be eating what you like and what's readily available. Honestly 90% of this is just eating until you're completely full each meal, never being hungry (or keeping it to as minimal as possible) and approaching it in a way that you're going to stick to - starting slow and building up is probably a good idea rather than just trying to shovel in 1 gallon of milk a day and giving up on the 3rd day because you feel so terrible. With that said though you're going to have to push yourself, getting those extra 2 or 3 mouthfuls each meal will be making a huge difference.

edit: also get a steamer if you can, super easy to make meals. Wake up drink some milk, put the steamer on with eggs a bit of spinach in the first compartment, chicken rice and some vegies in the second compartment. Do whatever for half an hour, come back add some beans for breakfast and you've got tasty breakfast and lunch prepared.

Doesn't matter whether you go to the gym or work out at home or in a forrest, if you burn x amount of calories, and you want to gain weight you need to eat x+ amount of calories.

Best way to gain muscle weight is going to the gym, low reps (5x5 schedules), doing deadlifts, squats, bench presses as your main exercises, and eating sufficient protein and all that stuff. But looking at your body type, I would just focus on getting to a healthy weight first before you start working out really.

Already knew your story from BPC.com, but yeah keep at it, doing good!

What are your winrates per position in bb/100 for that 70k+ hand sample?

Yeah going to do that then! I think pushing myself isn't so hard I've been training in that, its more of a hassle for bugging my cousins consistently in order to make that happen. May I ask how tall you are and how much you weigh and maybe a bit of a background story on yourself? I remember you following my other thread also!

I think doing those type of things is a bit useless over here its cambodia! if you cant find a place with eggs+rice+chicken within walking distance I'd be shocked!!

Yeah, but the thing is 1 I can't keep calorie counts, ive never done it before, but I know for sure I do need to start adding more weight. At this point yep, lol thats why I kinda gave up going to the gym because of me being so underweight and only did pushups and situps, but I just got recommended to go to do extra things such as dumbbells, I've been given so many different advice that I'm so damn lost!

You read and heard wrong; you gain weight by eating. You can do sit ups and push ups til you collapse and you won't gain any weight because you aren't giving your body any nutrients to grow.

What do you mean there isn't much to eat? They have rice, buy some rice. They have milk, buy a gallon of milk every day and drink it instead of water. Milk is essentially a natural growth hormone for animals and because it's water-based you can just drink it exclusively. A gallon is likely more than your current caloric intake, plus protein, BCAA's, etc. for $4; you'd need to eat like $25 worth of food to get the same benefit! If $4 is too expensive for you then you need to make an honest assessment of your goals.

What do you mean you can't count calories? You're saying you think you can beat 50NL+ but you don't know how to use a preset calculator like FitDay or just search Google for caloric estimates?
