Gratz on the sick win!

A question though, since your last update, how come you haven't posted on this thread in around 6weeks? Have you not been playing at all or just not been bothered to update the thread?

Again, gratz on the big win.

How should I play middle pair, flush draw, and straight draw out of position heads up against an opponent who barrels frequently?
Specially for the middle pair case, I usually give up on his second barrel since he barrels 3/4 pot on both flop and the turn.

any strategy?

Thanks in advance.
Hey,

I think the best thing that you can do at this point in your poker 'career' is to learn yourself the absolute basics. With a basic skillset it's fairly easy to beat the $30's if you put in enough volume. So how do you get to know these basics? Go to husng.com and get a membership or read mersenneary's E-Book that is available on it, go the HUSNG section of this forum and read the stickies. After you have done all of that you will understand the game a hundred times better and you'll be a bigger winning player.

A combination of both. I haven't played that much and I didn't feel like posting small results everytime. I don't want to give up this thread though, so in the beginning of June I'll start to post weekly results!

Re: High Stakes HUSNG's

Hey, just subscribed seem like a really good motivating thread.

Im currently in the process of moving from SH CGs to HU Hypers, do you have any advice ? Just starting out at the $1.50 level, currently breakeven over a LOLable sample.

Just started readin the ebook you suggested, just wondering, wats your reasoning for playing the super turbos instead of normal pace and instead of hypers, just curious, you feel you have a bigger edge?

Hey,

My advice would be to before you start to put in a HUGEable sample to read about the game/strategy a lot. Use the sources I named in my last post.

There are four kinds of HUSNG's:

- Slow deepstack
- Regular
- Turbo (I play turbos)
- Hypers (= super turbos)

The lower you get on that list, the lower your ROI (read: edge) will be.
