Absolutely. I was running like ass but you know in your guts when you call/raise the turn re-raise that you're pretty much crushed. Lack of discipline on my part in those hands.

That AA multiway I would be looking to fold turn if they cbet turn big. This last hand, I could be wrong but Id be looking to pot control in this spot on that board because its very dangerous for over cards when bb just calls. You potted it 3 streets what did you expect him call with.

I think I actually folded flop. With someone to act beind me I just didn't like the spot even if I was ahead of the donk bettor.

Probably should have pot controlled. In fact definitely should have. Yesterday wasn't my best day. It was the worst I'd tilted in some time. Felt like the world was against me and let it affect my play. Might need a few days off to clear the head.

I was just looking for max value. Thought the pairing 2 on the turn was a great card for me if if was calling with an overpair to the board or a draw. When he didn't raise turn I felt fairly confident I was ahead so decided to continue with the bombing.........

Funnily enough - despite all of these hands I was sill only break even after 2500 hands. So a few of these played better and I probably still end up a few BIs for the day..... Ended one BI down at 25NL overall after I got this one right at the end. Got this one in as favourite at least. One of those days though.

Not sure if anyone is reading this blog but here goes with an update....

Still been playing regularly but have just become a little lazy with updating this thread. I'm at work now so don't have Cashier or PT4 open in front of me but the initial $100 is now sitting at around $480 as an estimate.

I've had kind of a weird past 4-6 weeks where I have been playing everywhere from 5NL to 25NL, with one quick session at 50NL (where I picked up just under a BI). For the most part I am well over rolled for 5NL, comfortably rolled for 10NL and 16NL and close to being rolled for 25NL, but not really there yet. I had basically left 5NL behind and made the move to 10NL but after a poor session or 2 dropped back to 5NL just to get some confidence up. Here's the weird thing about the past few weeks as I mentioned............I'm struggling to break even any session at 5NL and 10NL right now and am regularly losing. However I just keep winning at 25NL any time I take a shot.

April overall I'm probably up about $80-$100 but that's with a profit at 25NL and 50NL and a loss at all of 5, 10 & 16NL. It's frustrating to me that I'm not completely crushing those levels so I've set myself the goal of at least beating them for a decent bit before I completely leave them behind, even if the BR allows me to play higher than that.

Been discussing this with someone I take some poker advice from and their advice has been....play poker for money....25NL = where currently making money = keep playing 25NL.

I'm certainly still mixing in regular sessions of 25NL, and it's a good thing too as it's keeping the BR moving up, but my personal pride won't allow me to drop those lower limits until I've at least posted some results I'm happy with.

Thread's obviously garnering no interest so I think I'll just keep it limited to end of month updates and BR progress and the like.
