Havent looked at my cashier or graph in 2.5 days. Trying hard not to watch allins and to relax during sessions. Seems to be working well so far.

I'd say 300 minimum of your average buy-in. 500 may be more appropriate to keep from having to re-deposit.

A lot of it also has to do with how you receive your RB. On merge RB is paid daily so not much of an issue, grinding stars and saving for $4k VPP bonus you may want to keep more online.

Re: Grinding my way to Mexico (WWKrzyzewskiD)

So i kinda lost interest ITT but since im about a month away from Mexico i figured id get it going again.

Ended up October with one of the worst downswings of my career. Dropped 1500 bucks in about 24 hours. Also got passed and ended up 3rd on the lb. Kinda sick cause if id quit playing on the 28th i would have had a 5k month and i ended up having a ~2200 month. Obv over it now but it was pretty soul crushing.

November was much better. Moved over to Lock (BigYellowJoint) and have much better overall rakeback than i did before. I ran extremely well at the tables and with my first deposit bonus, 2x VIP days and 9th place leaderboard finish, ended up getting a little over 100% rakeback.

The day before, i remembered that i still got to play in the Carbon ether freeroll from my play in october. It went well.

The tourney was pretty sweet. There were only 25 runners and at least 1/5 was sitting out all or most of the time. I played pretty well and then got really lucky HU (99>KK aipf) Really nice closing out to my carbon career, though i think carbon owed me more than 1750 in AIEV, ****ty rb, check times, etc

So id already planned to cash most of my roll out Dec 1st to have mexico money and then leave a tiny bit on to try and runup or make a few extra bucks for the move. The freeroll win made my month good enough where i dont need the extra bucks, so ive decided to spend this month grinding mtts. After shipping the freeroll (25 ppl is a pretty deep field compared to what i usually play) i wanted to play some more mtts. After some early success i decided to spend December playing mtts until i leave. Heres my results so far

obv no sample size, well see how i can do. Ive booked a motivational prop bet vs Collegefund. 50 bucks on who will finish higher on the Tourney King low lb. He had some decent results today and most of my better scores came on the 30th so hes ahead now. But its a long month.

So im just gonna turn this into my mtt learning and sweat thread. The last two days ive woken up around 8 and played a sess of about 6mtts while i 3-6 tabled $5 super turbos. Hopefully ill be able to grind allday sessions here soon but im so used to 2 hour max sessions that its gonna be tough.

Gonna be booking a place in rosarito in the next week or two. Will post pics once I have some. gl everyone this month

Re: Grinding my way to Mexico (WWKrzyzewskiD)

So MTTs are going well. Not running as hot as I started off but Im still having decent score every now and then.

Ive been mixing in supers while i play mtts. Only hummingbirds so far 4-8 tabling. Im averaging a whopping 32 games per hours. I feel like im playing a lot better than i do mass mting and i also think my mtt play over the last week has improved the attention i play to stack sizes and how that affects peoples calling ranges.

About to start my morning mtt sess. Still deciding whether to grind 5-10s super tmrw and friday for 2x day or to keep grinding mtts. Might depend on how well i run at mtts today.
