Recently I relocated from the states to the UK for a girl (long story short I basically got broken up with earlier this week) and started playing 6max hypers. After losing around $200.00 the first 2 weeks (I hadn't played anything besides some 1/2 live since BF) and the third week it finally "clicked" and I started hitting a positive roi in the games. This week, knowing the situation here kinda went to ****, one of my friends offered to let me stay with them for 2 months in Brazil and, as it's one of the places I've always wanted to go I've decided to take them up on it. Tickets are around $900 so my goal is to make around $1500 by July 10 and leave on July 19. My bankroll as I write this is $125.36 (with 764 VPPS, been rather busy with other lifestuff recently) so I have 1374.64 to go. My goals:
[]Play at least 300 hypers a day
[]Post 2 random event HHs here a day as a checkup and ask in the STT forum for advice on interesting spots
[]Make gold star for the month
[]Play $1.50s until I reach $175 and move to $3.50s then (was at the $3.50s for a while until I hit a 50ish BI downsing) being ready to move down again if it goes poorly

That's awesome you're going to Brasil, but do you have a job lined up there or what? I think its on the optimistic side to grind $125 to $1500 in a month, plus you need to order your ticket in advance to get a price like that.
I went and visited my friend in Brasil last year and ordered my ticket maybe 6-8 weeks in advance and it was pretty expensive at that point. I think it was like $1600, but that was round trip.
Anyways, where are you planning on staying? I went to a city north of Sao Paulo called Belo Horizonte. I had a great time so i'm sure you'll love it there. If you have any questions about visa stuff or whatever let me know, i'd be happy to help! Good luck!

I do contract work (programming and writing) so jobs/money for living expenses aren't a problem at the moment.
Yeah, the goal is super optimistic and I won't be at all surprised if I fail and have to go later than planned, but it's no fun to shoot for things that are easy.
I have a visa already since I was planning on going this year before plans had to get rearranged. It's just one way since I plan on going to Peru after and then figure out things from there.
My friend lives in São Sebastião (in Sao Paulo), but she's planning all sorts of things to do while I'm there. I'm also attending a Grand Prix for another game I play (Magic the Gathering) while I'm there so I get to spend time with other friends.
