09/30: It was a nice session overall, the last couple of hands killed the session. I lost the last BI AA vs KK. I'll leave some hands below were I don't feel comfortable. Every hand is against unknown, I don't have a lot of hands so I don't know anyone at the zoom tables.

Hand 1: I am still wondering, should I bet the turn or check? Flat is standard right?

          Good to see you back!

1010: Bet is fine, so is x/ back.

          QQ: Just 5bet jam pre.

A9o: Don't 3bet pre. Keep his range wide and all the 9X and AX you dominate. By 3betting you just iso yourself against a range that crushes you, and there are better hands to 3bet bluff with. AP turning it to bluffcatch is ok.

Thank you very much for your thoughts on the hands, I really appreciate it!

10/1:Today was a good day, I ran pretty good, didn't play my A game, I am always having some hands on the session that are horribly played.

Hand 1: Hand horribly played 1. I think my flat 4bet is not that bad because we are pretty deep. But my turn bet is so bad, the thing is I thought he was giving up on the pot and didn't want to check and see an A or anything over a T on the river. What do you think?

Thank you a lot! Same to you!

10/2:What a day. The ups and downs almost destroyed my head today. My mental game was not very good today.

When I started playing I lost a buy in a set vs set pot and the other buy in I will put it down below. Really interesting day to say the least, I have a ton of things to work on but I am very motivated.

Mostly loosing my money 3betting then cbetting flop and turn, folding on a lot of river spots. If anyone has any advice I appreciate it very much.!

Hand 1: I am pretty sure I played this hand correctly, any opinion?

Things are not going the right way, but have to stay positive and do the best I can. Anyone has any advice on beating micro zoom 6max? Any ********** to watch, video , or book you recommend? Thanks for taking the time to read this! Good luck!

Watch all of TDA's zoom videos, Galvin Bay, get a RIO sub and/or IveyLeague, watch TheStudent, omgclaydol, and find as much zoom content as you can. Figure out what spots people are doing things differently in.

Nothing else happened, everything standard, won AA vs AK once then QQ against AQ for another big pot. Good luck to everyone!

TT is overplayed. You can raise the flop w value(88, 22, 66, 86s) and draws for bluffs. Your hand is a bluff catcher vs villain's range otf.

QQ is like an overpair+ every day once he MR's the flop. You also block some of his flush draws so I think we can fold otf.

                                        Hello.

Didnt realise you had started your thread again. Good to see you back. Im happy to give my opinions on some hands. On my phone so difficult to quote but your bluffing spots are not bad BUT your sizings are not great.

So rather than bluffing 2/3 pot or 3/4 pot. Try over pot jamming. Now a lot of micro players think that anything over pot size is a bluff however if you can balance your jams with both value and bluffs, then it should work.

For example on the 4 flush board its a perfect spot for you to jam IF you always jam your ace high flushes in this spot.

Bluffs are really dependent on the villain. I personally ONLY bluff good players or nits. Do not ever bluff a casual or fish or calling station.

In regards to your over pairs. Like someone else said. You are overplaying/overvaluing these hands. Check raising middling connected flops is so dangerous because they will often come over the top with two pair or sets or big combo draws. Your perceived equity is actually a lot lower than what you think despite the fact that you think you are protecting your hand.

Hand 1: Played that hand pretty perfectly. Really good to see you check the turn and not over play your AQ. I'm just wondering if you maybe could bet larger on the river as we hold the ace of hearts so backdoor flushes are unlikely? (maybe someone else's opinion?).

Hand 2: I think you played the hand pretty well. Once again the check is good on the turn. River is tough, really dependent on villain stats. I've seen a lot of people turn AK and AQ or even AJs and smaller pocket pairs into bluffs here (we do block combinations of AQ). I think personally I call the river bet even though i hate it particularly as the only obvious draw hand (97) gets there.

Hand 3: Despite playing the other 2 hands really well, its unfortunate that you butcher this one :P. I do not like the preflop play. I think we can just flat QsJs from SB which may attract the BB to play and this hand plays well multi way. (readless) I'm also less comfortable 3 betting this hand vs MP as we are often dominated (villain dependent). The villain is also 320bb deep so i think it would be safe to assume he knows what he's doing so he will be making less mistakes post flop.

The flop C bet is very very ambitious. If there was a spade on the board then it might be slightly better but this board is hitting callers range a lot harder than you, even though we block Jx hands and have gutshot equity.

As played, I would definitely check/fold the turn. The bet here is once again ambitious. I 'dont think we fold out many hands here except for exactly any big Ace offsuit who was heroic enough to float you on flop. If you seriously think he has these big Ace hands here, we should bet around 35-40% of the pot and should be sufficient. Without running hand equities and doing the math I think we actually have to call the river shove? (Can anyone confirm)? - Never mind we do not have the equity to call.
A general rule of thumb is to not C bet these kind of connected flops whether it be a 3 bet pot or not.

It seems to me that you need to work on your board texture reading. On the positive side the first 2 hands demonstrates your improvements in playing big one pair hands.

Thank you so much for this post, seriously, I appreciate a lot, taking the time to write this means a lot to me. I agree 100% with you. Best of luck and thanks again!

10/06: Couldn't update yesterday, was very busy studying for an exam this friday. I felt really comfortable playing, made a couple of mistakes but happy with the outcome of the session. I am not being able to play a lot of hands because it is a very busy time of the year in university, got 2 weeks of exams then I have some time off.

Hand 1: This hand is very interesting, I don't put him on AK he would have raised pre, so I was thinking about JQs, but I block a Q, so the other hand I thought he might have is TT but I think villain would raise pre. So he has the nuts or a pure bluff, is my read out of line?

10/8: Awesome day, couldn't play a lot of hands. Really stressed out with university right now, all I want to do is play poker currently. But well nothing else to say, won JJ vs AQ pre BB vs SB which is always nice. Till next update!

Hand 1: Not happy with this hand, opened to loose in UTG then tried to represent the As, overall a horrible hand. I like posting my worst hands, it helps me not to ever do that again haha.

Hand 2: Not happy with my call OTR, I sometimes find it hard to fold TPTK, that was the worst flop possible, looking back I have no idea how I called . I remember thinking, he might put me on the Kc and bet because he thought I missed. Something totally off, I know realise how stupid that is, because if he puts me on the Kc I am probably holding an A and he would never bet the river if he knows I am holding an As.

Hand 1: Despite opening 10d8d from UTG I think you played the hand really well. C bet flop, picked up equity on turn and bet it again and then bet the ace which puts pressure on every pocket pair from he has and we fold out any big straight draws. Unfortunately you ran into top of his range. He didn't even raise you OTR with his boat because you probably looked so strong with pocket AA?

Hand2: River call is fine, there are just WAY too many stupid hands he could try bluff with here so the call on turn and river is very standard. Everything misses, he once again had to close to top of his range. Not sure what the standard line is though on flop?

Hand 3: Not much to say here. Fortunate he had a J and was willing to pay off 10x pot lol.

Hand 4: Last hand is interesting. Probably a bit thin especially after you lead into him. I'm not too sure to be honest. I think a pocket pair that beats 9s will bet flop so I guess its fine.

GJ, keep up the good work

H1; obviously way too loose from EP. Cut this **** out of your RFI range. What Ax do you get to the river with here? AKdd most are prob checking back flop. Don't say you're trying to represent the A, actually think about whether that's a viable option by observing your range first.

H2; as played pretty standard call twice imo unless CO is a nit who never 3bets. Cbet the flop though.

H3; KJo, once again, this is too weak to open from EP in almost all instances. Just fold pre. As played, double barrel this turn large w Kh and bluffing good hearts on the river would be my plan. Realise though if you're opening this amount of junk from EP, you're going to have a lot of bluffs on the river.

H4; I'd bet river smaller since he can still have better pairs. Bet call is fine though I think but villain dependent.
