Re: Going through the micros NL10->NL50

Okay the playerpool on Zoom is even worse then on 10nl regular tables .

Gotta love my redline <3

did really run sloppy in the start, loosing 1 stack with my QQ vs AK and another with a set of mine vs a flushdraw :/

Also played really sloppy at the end. My roommate came in and decided to randomly start dancing half naked.. :P

Hand of the session:

put him on a weak ace or maybe 2pair. On the river i think i have TONS of foldequity repping the flush and folding out many hands.
File: HH20120728 Tamariwa - $0.05-$0.10 - USD No Limit Hold'em.txt

Your converted hand, now with more cowbell.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em $0.05/$0.10 - 6 players

Button: $13.32
SB: $15.00 (Hero)
BB: $12.00
UTG: $10.25
UTG+1: $8.45
CO: $13.46

Preflop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with 9 Q (6 players)
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.26, BB calls $0.16

Flop: ($0.52) A 9 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.25, BB calls $0.25

Turn: ($1.02) J (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.20, Hero calls $0.20

River: ($1.42) T (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $0.40, Hero raises to $2.02, BB folds

Hero collected $2.12

(Rake: $0.10)

Funhand of the Session:
File: HH20120728 Tamariwa - $0.05-$0.10 - USD No Limit Hold'em.txt

Milked from the teat of a feral cow
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em $0.05/$0.10 - 6 players

Button: $25.03
SB: $20.93
BB: $16.15 (Hero)
UTG: $16.14
UTG+1: $5.63
CO: $6.25

Preflop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with K K (6 players)
UTG raises to $0.30, 4 folds, Hero folds

UTG collected $0.25

(Rake: $0)

I ****ed it up with tableninja sometimes when i want to quickfold another table, the "focus" jumps to a new hand anywhere and i fold on a table where i dont even want it. Also happened to AK this session.
But i got it fixed for now.

Re: Going through the micros NL10->NL50

LAG ftw!

Jesus.. cant play any 20 minutes without getting up 2 stacks :P

Fish... Fish everywhere
Spoiler:

Hand vs a very deepstacked guy. Setmining there was profitable again in 3bet pot because of the high amount of implied odds to grab.
Anyway won the hand without a set :P
Hand 1:

Spoiler:

Session Graph:
6max 9 tabling
Spoiler:

Evolution of a Pokerplayer:
Loose passive -> Tigh passive -> Tight aggressive -> Loose aggressive
fish -> learn u cant play many hands -> if u got it, bet! -> learn u can outplay your opponents with more hands and play good in marginal spots

Re: Going through the micros NL10->NL50

Again a nice session :P Dont know if i am just on the best side of variance at the moment or my game improved by a lot in the last couple weeks.
(did run a couple of BI under EV over the month tho so could have earned more)

Running at 12bb/100 over the last 40k hands yet on 10nl.

Will be moving up to 16nl in about 2-3 days. Did it faster then i expected :P

I runned 2 times kings into aces this session. So running not too perfect on the premium hands.

Re: Going through the micros NL10->NL50

Since i have some spare time now (holidays from studying) i would be interested to get a little into coaching.

I offer free coaching for 1 hour if someone is interested in it. Have been coaching in other games aswell (SC2, WC3) and got good feedback there.
could cover ground from: Correct mindset over to big leaks, small pot capitalisation, how to improve constantly, etc. etc.

Re: Going through the micros NL10->NL50

Very nice session. It feels like my last loosing session was some months ago (4 days ago, lost 9$). First 40 minutes 9tabling 6max and then went over to Zoom for the remaining time.
Still like 6max standard a lot more then zoom since i cant use a Hud on Zoom and have no dynamics so i got to play TAG style there since the only info i got are the stacksizes . (competition at zoom is not existant...)

Hand of the Session:
He just represents a set, overpair or fd/sd there, and repping a set is not really credible so i decided to go full pressure. Once he just flatcalled behind, it was an obvious draw for me or maybe a weak 8 he overplayed. Could have been also something like 99, TT, JJ (JJ would 3bet pre probably) which he then folded to the overcard K.

Dont have a cow, heres your converted hand
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em $0.05/$0.10 - 6 players

UTG: $9.64
UTG+1: $11.50
CO: $10.74
Button: $10.00
SB: $10.00 (Hero)
BB: $10.39

Preflop: ($0.15) Hero is SB with A 2 (6 players)
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.26, BB calls $0.16

Flop: ($0.52) 2 3 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.25, BB raises to $0.70, Hero raises to $1.97, BB calls $1.27

Turn: ($4.46) K (2 players)
Hero bets $2.58, BB folds

Hero collected $4.26

Need maybe 1 more day to let 10nl behind me and move up to 16nl. Should be fast to get up to 25nl imo.

Re: Going through the micros NL10->NL50

had a loosing session yesterday where i played 9k hands straight oO
was making a lot of mistakes at the end i think because of the lengh.
Was worth a try tho to make the longest session i could possibly make :P.
Lost 40$ on that. Combined with the other sessions of the day i am break even for that day but made shxt loads of fpp ^^.
Today i am up half a stack. Will play this afternoon but for now its rl time -.-'

Re: Going pro or busto.. from micro's to smallstakes

finished this horrible session.. Was just coinflipping most of the time AK vs PP about 6-7 times.
Anyway ended up in the + with 2$ :/
Just couldnt get into my A-Game somehow. Did play very passive preflop regarding light 3bets.

Gonna sleep now since i have to get up damn early :P
will have to do the hand reviews tomorrow.

Re: Going pro or busto.. from micro's to smallstakes

I dont really feel like playing today since i feel the need to upgrade my game at first a little more (i dont like my play with draws OOP and could also work a little in the IP drawplay vs aggressive players).
So for now i am reading verneer's micro analysis wich has been a pretty good read so far.
A lot of that applies to the micro's and with some tweaks it is worth gold :P

maybe i'll fire up a session in 3-4 hours

Was reading Verneers threads and a nice article about playing draws OOP.
besides that i played some 5nl tables at my B-Game since i was only paying half attention anyway.
7$ profit on that anyway while reading is no harm tho
