TY, I'm trying to pull out a big couple months before we leave Asia as I am anticipating Europe will be considerably more expensive.

Well it could always be better... At the moment I'd really enjoy it if I could win a flip every now and then..
But seriously I'm thankful everyday for my life. A little bit of misplaced ev isn't going to get me down for long.

Re: Fund 12 months around the world playing cards
The other good thing about MTT's (apart from winning them obv) is they do force me to play more volume. Although 4.5hr for $50.50 sucks in it's self I also played 4300 cash hands

Re: Fund 12 months around the world playing cards
Thanks bud.
TBH I think it may be a while before I player than 200nl again. Since I quit work and rely on my withdrawals for living expenses my risk tolerance has gone way way down. For the moment I'm content to take the "easy" money at 100nl/200nl. Maybe when this year is done I'll make an effort to really improve and move up see how far I can take it but for now slow and steady seems to make more sense. My goal for this year is $50k profit and I'm fairly confident the easiest/most variance free way to day that is grinding out SSNL.
How have the 400nl games been since Black Friday? I literally have played less than 1000 hands at 400+ this year.

Yeah definetly
It keeps you locked in to the grind, which is both good and bad. I'm turbo MTT SnG grinder primarily, and I recently came to the conclusion that mixing some reg-speed MTTs will help me stay grinding for longer because I can't get lazy and stop regging early if I know i'm going to be stuck playing a couple of reg-seed MTTs anyway.
Looking forward to Guava pie night photos!

Pie night was actually a little dissapointing Pies were a little avg. but gravy was excellent. On Sundays this same place does roast Chook/Pig and it is amazing, can't expect them to do everything well.

This was a fantastic experience. We met at "Lanterns" restaurant then went with the chef to a local market to buy supplies for the day. Totally different experience than the tourist markets.

Then we went back to the restaurant and cooked three courses, fresh pork and shrimp spring rolls. Fish, Pork or Chicken claypots and then a banana flambé.
Claypots marinating
Spring Rolls
FIRE!!

Re: Fund 12 months around the world playing cards
Fish (or Chicken/Pork) in Clay Pot
Ingredients:
- 200g fish (Tuna, mackerel or cat fish)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp stock (powder)
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp chopped chilli
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp caramelized sugar syrup
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup water
Method:
- Wet the pot with a thin layer of cooking oil. Combine all the ingrediants and let them marinate (we only did this for and hour or so but overnight is better)
- When the meat is marinate, add water and heat until boiling then reduce and simmer to thicken sauce

Soooooo frustrating. Seems like every day goes like this ATM Feels so awful to finish a long day even after being up significantly during the day. All that grinding for nothing...
