Hey there everybody, just wanted to start of by saying, thank you to the people for their kind words in PM, thread or skype.

Feel like i'm pretty happy with my game as of late. When i was playing on my own, i wasn't in the right place, felt like i wanted to gamble to much. Not being focused, staking and all the coaching i'm getting is helping me in so many ways. Not even really looking for that super big score, just looking to grind all day. expect in friday and saturday, for personal reasons, not to get burned out. And also enjoying my regular life.

In my real life, nothing special has happend, except for the fact i started reading a book. Voorbij de grens for the dutch guys, past this limit for everyone else. About 10 different people with disabilities. Super interesting book, also got 2 dates this week. Just enjoying that single life.

Hope most of you enjoy these updates, and that you can understand the words i'm saying, without expressing myself badly. Without coming over like a douche.

Not looking to voice my own opinion on the Paris terrorist attack, because i don't think discussing it on a forum is the best thing to do, especially in my own thread. It obviously is stuck in my mind. And don't want to collide with people, who can have different views on how to threat ISIS.

Halfway trough the month and my goals, are well within reach. 2 - 4K Profit and 2K games.

Because villain was limping a lot in that HU, on the river we have the nut no pair hand. Don't really, see him having many Aces, kings or other better hands.
Pretty it's not even close, sometimes fold, sometimes call i guess.

Not necessarily, Well in the beginning of the month i was up 800$ and then got destroyed, not really final tabling anything. Than i started to run like god again. So it obviously comes with ups and down, but i just try to play my game every single day. And i don't play when i'm not in the zone or whatever.

Hey everybody, been a bit busy today and will be for the next few days. But just thought i would mention something about getting staked.

So, since i got staked and coached, i'm getting lots of good results in. It's really amazing how much people can improve due to others, willing to put their time and effort in making rookies better. Bankroll management got a lot better due to not being able to punt it off in cash games. Which is something i would have done everytime i got a big score. Just want to compare how my graph looked when i played on my own and since i got staked.



Will not be playing a lot this week, playing my first live casino event sold action to it to reduce my own variance. Will be playing the Unibet open in Antwerp. Which is nearby it's a 2 day event. Anybody have some live tips, and most of the usual cons and pros, that happen in a casino?

Went to the casino last friday, played a 2/2 game bought in for 120 left with 310 i think.

usually don't stack them, unless you can make decent piles of 20.

dont's:

stringbet
make eye contact if you don't feel comfortable in a huge pot, it's better to stare at one point imho
be impatient, it's fine (yet boring but fine) if you are cartdead for over an hour, don't try to force by playing hands you usually wouldn't
make huge bluffs, unless it is a very good spot. you have to remember that in live poker (esp in those low buy ins) people are still very bad, don't nearly think at the level you are, and therefore will make a lot of bad/light calls. just valuebet hard when you have it

give big raises respect, it usually means they have a strong hand, they aren't easily willing to let go
try to look for some live tells/follow the action. usually when you pay good attention, you can easily build some player profiles (for example: don't bluf guy in seat 3, seat 7 seems scared money etc)

So i busted my live event after playing for 3 - 4 hours was really fun and feel like i played my a game most of the time. Met LG who's a really cool guy, and a smart dude. And got to see some people i haven't seen in a while. Pierre the boss Neuville was also there. But didn't get the chance to speak with him. Marcel Luske was also there but he's a bit of a tool.

This hand happend, after going in to break with 47K from a 25K stack

Had this 400/800/100 i'm bb, villain is a dutch guy, pretty cool guy. But whatever knows what he's doing. And a bit loose. He opens to 1.8K from UTG. Everybody folds and i call with ?? Flop comes Ad7x4d he cbets 2.1K or so rather biggish. I flat, turn brings 5x i x he bets 2.9 - 3.4Kish i checkraise to 9.25K he calls. River brings Kd and i tank for a bit look at him an jam 23K. He had a bit less like, 18K or something. He calls after tanking for 5-7 minutes. What does he have and what do i have? 8d7x/Qdxx/44/77/86s/86o/87o/Ax/total airballs. i think this seems like a decent range.
