Hi guys! My name is Ivan and I’m from Croatia. I have 34 years and I’m married and have 2 year old daughter. I finished law school, worked for 5 years as lawyer witch I didn’ t like so I quit. Have an monthly income from elsewhere but would like that poker becomes my main income.
I have been playing poker for 5 years. Started with 9-man sit n gos turbo and last 1.5-2 year I played 180s and mtts. I never played cash…ok not never, maybe like 150-200 hands or so :-) . I must admit that I’m average poker player and want to be excellent that’s why I joined CFP.
I found out about CFP on Croatian poker forum where HansTheGreat and Sejmen are members and when I saw what did they achieved, especially Hans I said to myself I have to try this. My main reason for joining CFP is money of course but also I want to learn how to play HU cos it’s really interesting format of poker for me.

Finally did all the things I needed to do before actual start. Today was my first playing day. Didn’t play much, just 2.5 hours cos I need time to adapt to everything. I managed to lose little over one BI but it doesn’t matter cos really my main goal is to learn. That’s it from me for now cos I have lot of work off table.

Hi guys.
It’s been 12 days since my last update. Lot of things happened so let’s go from the start. I started to play nl50 and that was first mistake of many. On third day I hit stop loss, luckily next day I had my first coaching and coach gave me advice to play lower limits witch I did just while I get familiar with std lines. I also made a big mistake with villain selection. Today I had second coaching and I fix that leak but found a new one…volume. I had disgracefully small sample of hands from last coaching. The reason for small volume is that I focused on learning more then playing and in Saturday my computer broke down and I just got it fix today (motherboard broke down). For now I wont be posting any graf cos of small volume but next time will do.

Hi.
In last 7 days I started to play more so my volume is ok for now but need to make it even better. I noticed that I’m making light calls on turn and river so I will learn about this spots by going trough my hands and hands of other members until I manage to stop doing that. At the moment my main lvl that I play are NL10,20 and NL30 with just a few tables on NL50. Can’t tell that I made any profit but doesn’t matter cos the main thing is that I’m not that lost like I was in the beginning. This is the graf from last 7 days.

Hi guys.
Last 7 days where good, volume and results wise. Had coaching on Sunday and coach wasn’t happy. I made a lot of mistakes and cos of that my homework is to watch all of videos over again. Having trouble with donkbets and std lines with betting when V checks on the flop. I watched that videos first and made more detailed notes. When I watched it again a saw how many things I didn’t noticed so a lot of things are clear now. I’m watching 2-3 videos every day before session and making more detailed notes so I don’t make any mistakes or at least do it less. Need to play more.

So last 7 days where really turbulent. Overall I think I played ok, was a bit unlucky but yesterday I played really ******ed. I played like a robot and wasn’t thinking about spots and as a result I hit stop loss. I’m going over and over again trough std lines so hopefully it will stick into my brain. So last moth was really big fail. I made like 60$ from game + some from bonuses and RB. Last month is fail for many reasons but mostly cos I didn’t put out 100%, it was like 50%. I didn’t learn enough, and when I was learning most of the time I wasn’t there so I’m really angry at myself. So things are gona change for this month. First I won’t post any graf until end of the month. Second I will post in my blog EVERY ****ING DAY 3 most loosing hand and hands where I’m not sure what to do from session. I will go trough std lines before every session. Will work equity calculations before every session. Play at least 6k hands in one week. After every day I will put numbers from that day, like played hours,hands, mistakes made etc. If I do that and still suck at least I know that I put 100%. review of last 8 days
So I’m really happy how my progress is going. I made some profit but the main reason that I’m happy that I’m sticking to my goals that I post every day my daily report and that I learn every day equity calculations and going trough std lines. Last 8 days I hit stop loss 2 times and it was 2 days in a row and I’m under ev like 5 BI but it doesn’t rally matter. I watched mental game last week and it was really helpfull for me. I never knew that mental game is so important and that there is so much types of tilt. I started to workout 3 times a week and that helped me with focus and I feel better in general. Anyway last 8 days I played like 52 hours and made like 6.6k hands.

you are never gonna make it as a HU player with a declining red line. 100% where your focus needs to be.

So nothing interesting happen from last weekly update. I played little more than 6k hands, made some profit and hit one time stop loss. Hopefully this week will go by without stop loss. I’m happy with my off table work so I hope results will turn around and really soon will be able to play NL100 tables. There is so much to learn and will keep trying until I can say to myself good job. Anyway talk to you soon. GL at the tables.

Hey guys. So it’s time for month review. October was better then previous month but still it isn’t not even remotely close where it needs to be. There where some progress but it is so small that it’s not worth of mentioning. Last week in October I got sick and couldn’t play 3 days and when I started to play I still wasn’t feeling great and played bad so I stopped playing almost entire week and then on Friday I got temperature again and missed coaching because of it. Last moth I played around 23k hands and made profit of 650 € + around 250€ from RB, in total around 900€. Can’t show you graf cos I ****ed up something with PT4. If I manage to fix it will show you. I noticed that I’m having trouble with making me to work off table, the thing is that when I sit at my computer all I want to do is to play poker so I found a solution. This month I will play only NL50. From this moth I will wake up earlier and do around 2 hours of learning and working on my game and in afternoon I will just play.

Goals for this moth:
30k hands
1.5k profit =>go to intermediate

hey guys…time to weekly update…..
Month is great so far, I made same amount that I won in whole last month. I feel really good about my game but honestly I’m not putting enough time to study the game. At beginning of this month I said to myself that I will get up early every day and work 1.5-2 hours in my game but I don’t do it. Need to change that asap. Hopefully I will do it. So far this month I played 7.6k hands in 49 playing hours. I hope that rally soon I will get permission to play NL100 and advance to next level and when I do I’ll must start to get up in the morning and go over new videos cos if no my playing hours will really decrease. So I’m happy with my progress so far. Traffic sucks last couple of days and had some personal stuff so volume is not so great. Because of that I started to add NL25 and NL30 tables. I got permission to play NL100 and if everything goes ok I should go to intermediate from next month. From last update I played 6.2k hands in 40 hours. That’s it from me for now. Gl at the tables.

Hey guys, it’s time for monthly update. So overall honestly I’m not really happy how my month gone. The main reason for that is that my volume really sucks and I didn’t work on my game enough as I should so this is new month and it’s time to change that. Yes I did 1.7k € of profit and advance to intermediate which was one of my goals for last month don’t get me wrong I’m happy cos of it, but when I know that I didn’t put all that I can I can’t be really satisfied with myself. Last month I played good overall but one whole week I didn’t play good. That week I played really bad, had bad villiain selection, made stupid plays and played to much tables. I hope that this month I will play good all month without exeption and will put in the hours.

work on my game
make 3k+ profit
make 30k+ hands

It’s time for weekly update……
This is best week so far in BPC money wise. In first week of December I made 1.1k € and played 4.3k hands. Volume is not so great. Had some back problems and couldn’t played for long time 3 days last week but still I could play litlle more then I did. Last week I had my first intermediate coaching with JurassicDaniel and all I can say that I was blown away by Daniel’s reading skills and adaptions to villains. I’m looking forward with my next coaching. Here is my graf for last week….

Time for week update….
Week started great and then all whent wrong. Had one stop loss and overall I run little bad but to be completlly honest I played only one day last week that I can say that I’m satisfied. Yes I was a bit unlucky but that isn’t excuse to make bad decisions and that is what I did almoust all last week. Even whith a little bad luck I should have made more money if I played every spot correctly. So i hope that I will play next week better and that I’m not gona be emotionall about some situations cos it only makes my think proces bad. Another thing I noticed is that when I set myself some gold to achive like money wise or volume and when I see I’m not gona achive it I start to get angry at myself and that affects my game so I will try not to take it so seriously. So last week was really bad but It’s all on me. I got in some strange condition where I played guys that I shouldn’t almoust all week. And the weirdest thing was that I had some crazy explanation in my head why I’m doing what I’m doing. My reasoning was if I can’t play regs on lower limits how the hell will I do it on higher limits. To make long story short I mind ****ed myself. I thought about it whole weekend about it and talked with more experienced guys and realize of course that I’m idiot. So from now on only fish on my menu. My results for last week are bad but I’ happy that I have learned something from it altough I should know that I don’t need to play regs. Not yet at least. My mistake that cost me 500€………….. Anyway here s graf from last week.

Last week was really good for me. Didn’t play that much cos of holidays and spending time with my family and friends. Last couple of years I didn’t had actual “Christmas feeling” but that changed with having a child. It was really fun watching my little girl and seeing how she reacts on all things about Christmas. Anyways back to poker, cos of holidays I playend only little more then 3k hands but when I was playing I was really focused and thinking about every hand. Last week my V selection was really great, played only “easy guys” . Made a plan how should my every working day look like. Didn’t follow it 100% but hope I will get there. This last week showed me that when I’m playing my A-game and V select good I have really, really good results. Yes I run also good but I played good and worked on my game a lot so I just need to continue doing that. Last week I made around 1.1k €. Here is the graf…..

So December was good month, I played around 23k hands and made 2.4k € profit post RB. I worked a lot on my game but should have played more. I joined 4k€ challenge with some other guys from group to fix volume problems and to push my limits so this month will be really interesting. I need to put in 120% to finish this 4k challenge and I hope I will be up to the task. Last mont I had around 10 days where I played really bad so I hope that this month I will play my A-game all the time. This month I will work more on my villain adaptation cos I think if I do it wright it will boost my progress. The main gold for this moth is to make enough profit to move up to NL200 so I can make even more money.

Hello guys….time for update

So I’m happy so far how things are developing. It’s been really crazy 10 days of January. I have to admit that I never tried so hard cos of challenge and everything. The funny thing is that whit all of my trying I’m still last in group with playing hours that I put. Honestly I would like that I can play all day long and study off course but can’t cos of family obligations and some other thing outside of poker. Can’t remember when I had so little sleep but but I wouldn’t change a thing. Need to manage my time better next week so I can put more hours cos I didn’t play as much as I needed for the challenge. I’m overall happy with my game last 10 days, last week I had one bad day when I hit stop loss but it’s my bad cos I played vs villain that was crazy and I didn’t know how to play him. He was really crazy like opening 6x all the time and 3b and all kind of crazy stuff. So far I played 7.1k hands and made around 1.1k €. That’s it for now. GLGL

This was strange week. Think overall played good but last two days where really ugly. On friday I couldn’t do anything. Whole day was one big rollercoaster, up,down,up down and today I hitt stop loss so meh. Next week I’ll start with only “easy guys” to boost my confidenc and see how it goes. Last week I played 6.5k hands and made around 300€. Graf isn’t correct cos there are some hands missing and cos of one site on which I play is in diferent curency but PT4 recognize it as I play NL100 and NL200 in € so that sucks. I need to make 2.6k by the end of the mont to complete 4k challenge so need to push real hard.
