Some background:

I used to play slots a lot in the past. Lost a decent amount of money and decided to self-exclude from casinos. The downside of this was that I couldn't play any live poker. So I unexcluded myself a couple of months later to play some live tourneys.
Meanwhile I was playin online poker, movin from stt to hu cash and mtt's, eventually arriving at husng. I managed to build my roll from 100$ to something like 5k$, cashing out to buy some cool stuff/make trips/etc.

Atm:

I've been playin turbo husng for the most part lately, mixin in some low stakes mtt when feeling like. Have been studying/playin them a lot and I do feel like I have a good grasp of them. I have been playin up to the 60$ level being a marginal winner.
The bad part of the story is that I also played some slots, albeit a lot less then before (and mostly when drunk). I cashed out all losses from slots from my poker roll (am keeping poker/gambling and life roll completely separated which helped me a lot in terms of tilt management etc). Right now my roll stands at 1k$.

Goals:

• Play husng turbo (like 90% of my volume) and stay away from hypers (although I don't believe I suck at them, I can't really handle the amount of variance)

• Occasionally play some mtt

• Don't ever play slots again

I will start @ the 30$ level on PS. Will take shots @ 60$ when having like 25-30 buyins for them and hope to move up to the 100$ level eventually. I'm taking off this week to clear my head/spend some time with gf. I hope to update this thread every couple of days including graphs/interesting hands...

Update 1

Played a Sunday afternoon session. Only 2 mtt's, bricked both, rest were husng. Ran over EV in them but played very good imo. I was also able to stop playin when feeling less focused, which might have been a problem in the past.



Will see if I can find any interesting hands tonight, as I don't have my database available on this computer.

Note to myself: star interesting hands while playin (I use Poker Copilot btw)...

Update 2

Played over 20 husng and 1 humtt which I busted in the 2nd round. Did not play my A-game at the start of the session. Also Poker Copilot has me on $220 under EV for today, so it was a combination of playin suboptimal/runnin bad.

Although I rep almost nothing, he reps even less imo. So decided to just click it back...


Any input on following 2 hands is appreciated. In the first hand I don't really see what hands he minraises on a flop this dry.



What line to take on this flop? Should I be able to get away?

Update 3

Mixed in some mtt when playin my usual $30 husngs. Only had 2 mincashes, bricked the rest. Played good imo but the poker gods weren't with me. Down about $60 for the day.

Pretty happy with the direction of the yellow line, things will turn I guess. No really interesting hands last session, didn't even really got coolered or so, just the usual suckouts. Will play some more this weekend, maybe also a qualifier for a monthly live tourney in my nearest casino (Namur/Belgium) that PS decided to offer recently.

Obviously not running well. Stick with it, buddy.
