Hey guys, I've decided to create this thread to use as a tool as I try to turn around the biggest downswing of my poker career. This year in a word has been horrible for me when deep in tourneys. My MU currently stands at 58k after an awful SCOOP and summer grind. Maybe after last year (which was my best year by far) I've stopped doing what made me succesful on the poker table. Well anyway, I really want to put this all right and clear this MU.

Goals:
Work out before sessions
Review a tournament every day
Achieve 10bb/100 ev win rate
Post at least 5 times a day in msmtt
Grind minimum 4 days a week
Don't play too many tables
Clear MU

Made a bunch of cashes today but lost some key hands when headed towards the final 3-4 tables, notably losing KK<TT in the B109 for 50 bigs with 40 to go.

Made a day 2 in the 530 re-entry, albeit as a crippled short stack. Hopefully the poker gods draw me to the button and I can pick up some hands right from the go and make a run at things.

How many tables do you usually run? I agree with the working out b4 sessions, it really does seem to help me a lot as well.

Man 58k sucks but you can turn it around if u put in the hours easily

Working out definitely helps! Think I read it releases a chemical in your brain that creates positive emotions. So that will help getting in the right frame of mind for the grind. Going to try and keep it down to 4-6 while big games are running. It would be kind of dumb to mess up a spot in the Super Tuesday because you were debating whether to jam in the Hot 16.5.

Day 2 was over fairly quickly as expected. Managed to pick up 88 and then chop vs TT on JJ777 lol. Picked up TT the very next hand but my 5bb shove was called by DJK123 in the BB and his QJo got there.

$104 profit today! A small step in the right direction.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I think I'm going to take Wednesday off as I have loads to do non poker wise and then fire up Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Overall win rate. Averaged 10bb/100 which is decent. Today had some potential, i bubbled two sats to the thursday thrill and despite taking 3ko's in it i ended up losing 3k. Wanting to play a big schedule Friday, although i'll be skipping the WCOOP tomorrow as I'm out on Saturday.

GL lad I know the feeling. Gym + anything positive that can put you in a better frame of mind is +EV. Sounds simple but often when people are on a ds they shirk away from human contact, decide not to go out and do fun things because they feel like they need to 'save'.Lost 15k last month so i'm going to Amsterdam in 2 weeks to party.

Lost a bit the last week, but today I won the 22c and got 2nd in the 55 6max turbo. Played really good today and closed pretty well. MU is at 61k.
