I was in a similiar position as you guys (blew all my money partying in 2 months in thailand) and then grinded the micros for a few weeks but gave up on the dream (pussied out and decided to go back to usa to find work and save and come back to SEA asap) and am now hating life looking for work ... Im planning on going to sihanookville.

I couldnt bring myself to grind enough in that paradise location (of SEA) with girls and nature etc ... so please grind lots and im sure you'll will continue living the dream (what else is there besides work and women?)

Some pics of room are on page 3, will get round to posting better ones soon, when either of us can be assed.... We are not gonna post too many pictures of girls we've been with, don't even remember/can't get pics of last 3 girls. Yeah we do have really basic phones and from what we've experienced so far the internet is pretty bad. No bikes.

Food: $5-10 Each
Alcohol: $5-8 Each on days we do go out..
Water: $0.75 Tank lasts us like 2-3 days
Women: $1 for a moto home...
Transport: $1-2 each

How much do you pay for your room + internet if you don't mind me asking? This thread is making it very tempting to book a flight to Bangkok, esp since they are <£300 atm!

Nice daily graphs, is it nl5? Hopefully you'll be rolled for nl10 soon and can earn some serious monez

I think he simply means that they arn't paying for girls and that the only thing they have to pay for a girl is the "taxi-moto" to take her back home

This thread really made me think about booking a flight to cambodia in July and grinding there for a year or so. I am currently in the position of having no idea what to do after school and if it is really possible to live in cambodia for around 500$ a month this seems like the best option I have at the moment. Do you know if there are courses for the cambodian language (whatever it is called) in shanoukville?
or a university or something where I can do something useful?

Hey guys, you're an inspiration. I've moved to Thailand and will be grinding 10nl so we're in similar boats. Some questions...

1) Your volume is totally sick. Are you playing zoom? How many tables are you on at a time?

2) Have you guys thought about getting a job teaching English? That's what I'm doing. Ofc it means less grinding but a decent month of saving up and you'd be rolled for 10nl at least. Plus it's nice to have some variance free income.

GL anyway guys. May we all be sat at 50nl by the end of the year and living well.

A few questions...

1. Will internet ever be consistently good in Cambodia or is it just where you live?
2. Can you play PStars there?
3. How safe is it in your place and outside of it?

Thanks!

Spot on, theres been a discussion about this before in another thread, some people think we a mugging off hookers but really were not, we always speak about money first and leave it down to them, any hookers we have slept with its usually been more than once after them ringing us and were still genuine friends with them all...

Sorry no idea if there are courses, you can find independent teachers but i have no idea how much they are, we have been learning slowly from everyone we meet.

We both play upto 28 cash game tables (alot of changing going on)
We have thought about it, we have a friend who teaches in PP for $12 an hour but the even the mention of a job haunts me....

I think in a 5-10 years this country will be a different place, its defiantly up and coming...The internet used to be better, it seems its the sticks or the place are letting us down atm not sure yet but it was never good, cant speak for PP though.
Yes you can play on Stars.
Were in a gated community atm so mostly safe, but were told to be carefull coming home alone drunk....

moto is ofc very useful be we chose not to get one as we know we will drink drive as its pretty much legal here (you only get done if your clearly fkd up n all over the roads) we do on the other hand have 1 BMX, looking for 1 more, so **** hard to find cheap in snooky...cant wait to go cruising

As for thievery if your not an idiot and are carefull you should be fine, you can find more luxury places but i dont have much info on them....but i can tell you $500 a month on rent alone and you can live like a king np

For these 1 room places you have to find yourself or through a friend i think, there are estate agents here but ive never been in one...
Ive looked on the internet it seems you can find really nice places but im sure now you are defiantly going to want to go direct to the owner and get a better price.
