a lot more if you want to live in a big city (especially Vancouver/Toronto). but considering the exchange rate/splitting it with someone else its actually pretty close.

heh i pay for house in center of czech town 130e/month, iam sharing with 3 more people but its kitchen+dining room, living room, grind room, 3 bedrooms (all of them pretty big, one is mega huge and can be splitted to 2 rooms), 2 bathrooms and 2x WC + garden and balcony

Here in Sydney Aus, 400/wk for 1br apartment (nice area) excluding all bills

Yeah I guess it's all relative, average wage is higher etc. I think Melbourne and Sydney are in the top 15 most expensive cities in the world though. If you ever come here let me know and you can crash at my place.
