That might sound slightly racist now, but believe me: I'm not the only one who's going to tell you this.

It doesn't matter if this or these guys are your age: Don't get to close to them. Tho you're only staying in a $9 hotel and therefore can't be Richie Rich-rich - they still have to work 2-3 days for this at your hotel. You're a walking dollar note for them. They might not gonna scam you right now, but believe me bro: The sooner or later they're trying to.

So for ****s sake: Don't go clubbing with them. You gonna end up paying everything. Take the money instead and go **** a hooker. (Honestly, just do it)

Please don't take it as an offense, but you should really keep that in mind and wipe off your naivity and levity - especially in a 3rd world country like Cambo.

A bit of a ****ing generalisation there. Not every single Cambodian person is trying to scam you, it's a minority, just like anywhere. My advice would be to hang around and make friends but just keep your guard up, just in case.

Who else has noticed whenever someone says, 'I'm not racist, but', it's usually followed by a racist statement!

Na to 20$ tournaments with weed trying to quit that lol. i looked on naga and couldnt find a poker page. Tilt breaker sounds awesome, maybe il try to find something else that wont cost me my roll .

Ive eaten a whole loaf of bread today lol. i could eats some more too still got ages till bed time. I havent tried the street food once here, i always look but it nothing looks appealing or yummy. What are those little shells people eat, i think that must be the poor peoples food. prob cost 100 riel for a handfull im guessing cus ive seen the poorest people get them shells.

It says they did have an APT event last year at queenco. They cancelled this years because pokerstars changed there Macau date to near same time
The APT still intends to hold a tournament in Cambodia this year, though the logistics around that are unclear.
This article was released like a week ago cool.

Also i think once i get a roll bigger roll, im just going to go from country to country and then it doesnt matter about visas because i just read about japan you cant stay for more than 6 months within a 12 month period... so i can just keep going from country to country and have best job in world

I just hope money doesnt become worthless or the governments banned poker like they did in USA, thats what nightmares are made of.

I have Khmer one girl on FB who posts pics of every single meal she's ever eaten, screenshots and posts the pic every time her phones time is like 2:22, or 4:44 etc and she keeps sharing videos of Khmer road traffic accidents and other deaths... If she wasn't so hot it wouldn't be worth it.

OMG yes i just found out the best news.(could be fake.) but ayam tuna only uses small tuna fishes which means no mercury so i can eat as much as i want thats just amazing. i use to have to force myself to eat like 3 little cans a week. now im going to eat so much fish that i actually might evolve into one lol maybe a big shark

I think i might live off bananas, and tuna and peanut butter sandwhiches and water.. it sucks cus i dont know how im going to eat veggies or much fruit without it costing alot. depends how my roll looking but im trying to be conservative at the moment.

I got back to hotel and people where in my room LOL. i think they where just trying to clean it but i didnt ask for it to be cleaned. so wierd.. im just going to get my room cleaned everyday to avoid confusion next time. As soon i as i walked in a guy knocked on my door and handed me a fresh towel and the old towels are gone i think they where just about to start to clean it lol
03-13-2015 , 03:16 AM
Thats Pretty standard in any hotel, usually there's something you can hang on the door handle outside that says do not disturb if you don't want it cleaned.

lol, i think if your going to come here to grind mtts especially micro and low stakes. you have to stay awake through the night or else your not going to be able to put in enough volume. Finally did the first good session in ages, i was grinding over 20 tables on 5 different sites, the volume gets intense around 1am Cambodia time.

Dont feel rusty anymore, feel like ive hit my groove. soon i will blow up.

Got a 7$ thai massage today, first professional one ever. going to start doing that like once or twice a week as part of my poker routine, has some benefits to poker.

Maybe i should look into supplements that make me smarter or whatever. i haven't been eating any veggies in my diet.

Cool thread, man. Which city are you in?

I am a 21yo cash game player from Brazil, seriously thinking on moving to Cambodia. I'd appreciate if you could help me with some answers :

1) I hate asian food in general (spicy stuff or sweet sauces). Is it possible to buy "Western food" in Cambodia ? Like beef, pork, good fish, brown wheat, cheese, etc? If yes, how expensive is it?

2) How is the internet connection?

3) I wonder if it is easy to send money from my Brazil account (or Neteller) into some local bank acount that I'll create.

Hope you score good!

Dude, seriously - like... really, seriously... These questions have been answered 3 times by now. Don't you think that's enough?
