Gonna be honest. At least you recognize the problem. If you don't get control, alcohol will ruin your life. Looks like you have a serious problem. These comments are coming from caring, with no other intentions or malice...

no malice shown or offence taken, but I'm not particularly concerned about personally suffering from alcoholism. I've seen it's effects in friends. I'm currently operating more along the lines of the standard young american who binge drinks 1-2 nights/week (and enjoys myself). I'm simply acutely aware of its ramifications wrt long term goals - hence, a desire to restrict drinking to the extent that it interferes with these. To clarify, 6 drinks/night is a maximum, not a daily prescription.

6 drinks/night each day or the nights you drink you'll limit it to 6?

Averaging like 40 beers a week is bad mojo

Love the blog and love the kid and 99% of the writing. 2000+ posts in the thread.... Even remotely thinking 6+ drinks in a day might be reasonable is by far the most out of balance thinking so far in the entire magnificent thread....

How many times does the guy have to clarify that he's not talking about guzzling 6 drinks every single day?

6 drinks in one night isn't that bad, but depends on the person.

As long as you don't do it every day and let your liver rest you will be fine. Now if you drink 6 drinks and take pain medications, or eat fatty foods - than that starts to take a toll on your liver. But if you eat healthy, and don't abuse pills - drinking 6 drinks sometimes won't screw you up.

Hell i've even drank up to 20 drinks in a night and I get my blood test during my physical once a year - and at 31 all my blood work is fine. It's just the constant drinking every day that is bad for you. You need to take a few days - week off to let your liver recover.

Just read this entire thread. Inspiring man!. I was recovering from ACL surgery in Boston. Been kind of debating on taking a shot; building up a bankroll and moving to Vegas next year with a year rent saved. The snow is ridiculous here. Bachelors degree from BSU. Not feeling the desk job lifestyle. Going to start putting in volume improving my game on weekends and see what happens.

How's Vegas treating you? Any good pick-up bball games?

I'd be really curious to have some news from ECG. How are you doing dude? Did you burn out yet? Do you see a difference in the games now compared to 3 years ago? etc.

I’ve spent some time with ECG irl, but haven’t seen or talked to him in any form in four years. Any updates since the thread hasn’t been updated for three years? Hope you’re all-right.

I think it's a good bet that you might run into him at Encore Boston when it opens up in a few months.
