Well I've been 2+2 member here for a couple of years. Shame on me I haven't spent much time here. That's about to change. Better late than never.

Recently, I withdrew most of what little bankroll I had, leaving only $100. I'm back to 2 NL and $1 sng's for the time being and hope to build from there.

I am returning right to the basics, reading articles and watching training vids like I was new to the game. I will become more active here reading posts and contributing where I can. I will be posting hands. As I start to put the material I cover into practice, I hope to see some success over time.

I've had my ups and downs with online poker over the last few years, but it's been largely recreational for me. It still is, but I want to get better now. I'm committing myself to learning, paying attention to what others have to say and truly considering it, reviewing hands, and focusing on making good decisions.

No more playing more table than I should.. I'll be sticking to 4 or less for the foreseeable future.

I'm also in the process of starting a local poker study group in the city I live in. I'm excited about that and I hope we can make it work.

I was pretty happy about my lay down here. In the past I think I would have flatted the 3-bet pre and ended up making some tough (and probably bad) decisions when the 4-bet came and things got ugly.

I'm trying to appreciate the times when I save some money.

never fold here... even if you know they have AA or KK... you can setmine... you will get max vaule from those hands... and there are loads of AK in their range... JJ or even TT... after all this is nl2.

I hear what you're saying.. but their wouldn't have been much set-mining going on here, a 4-bet and a shove followed. This is EXACTLY what I was thinking was going to happen. These guys opening and 3-betting EP made me really think about what action was likely to follow, and I called it right. That's what I was so pleased with.

That being said, you may well be right. Maybe flatting for the set-mining was the right move. Could have folded to the shove no-problem. Something for me to think about.

Thanks for the input!

Well I relented a little and transferred half my roll to Stars tonight. I got tired of waiting too long at night for games to fill. For the most part the traffic at Tilt seems ok to me, not outstanding but ok. Late at night though it can take forever sometimes. I hope that changes.

I also wish Full Tilt would incorporate hot keys. That is one thing about the Stars software I prefer.
