4/8, 2743 Hands, +$1386
So I went on a downswing in the first few days of the month. I don't have all the hands, part of the reason I think that I downswong like that was bc I was playing on my laptop. I also ran very, very bad. My EV was closer to -4k and was just kinda silly coolers around every corner. I moved down in stakes, and grinded for RB for a bit to just break even so that my confidence could begin to come back. There's a lot of opportunity in poker to let ones
ego swell out of control, and it can be detrimental - even to the best poker players. While there is something to be said for using aggressive bankroll management, challenging yourself and learning as much as possible, I think that there is also something to be said for the opposite - willingness to move down in stakes. Truth be told, there's a ton of variance in poker and it's tough to say exactly where you stand sometimes.
