Nope, just the blog (link in profile). I'm super lazy about updating it though but hope to change that soon.

Re: Attempting to break the PokerStars VPP record in 2012

To the CAP guys; what VPP rates are you getting today vs last month? I'm getting 0.82 VPP/hand at 400NL today as opposed to to 0.75 yesterday so that would suggest that rake went up. But my sample is really small so theres a good chance thats just variance. I'd be interested to hear about other stakes too.

Today has been pretty fun so far. I'm not gonna post standard preflop hands in this thread but I think this one deserves to be posted:

Poker Stars $10/$20 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

SB: $1067.00
Hero (BB): $2733.64
UTG: $1116.28
MP: $906.26
CO: $807.05
BTN: $1417.05

Pre Flop: ($30.00) Hero is BB with A K
UTG raises to $40, MP raises to $400, 1 fold, BTN calls $400, 1 fold, Hero calls $380, UTG calls $360

Flop: ($1610.00) T 7 4 (4 players)

Turn: ($1610.00) 2 (4 players)

River: ($1610.00) Q (4 players)

Final Pot: $1610.00
Hero shows A K (high card Ace)
UTG shows T K (a pair of Tens)
MP mucks J K
BTN shows T T (three of a kind, Tens)
BTN wins $1607.00
(Rake: $3.00)

At least after losing a pot like that dropping a $40 stack at 1/2 doesn't feel so bad!

Re: Attempting to break the PokerStars VPP record in 2012

I'm taking a break now to coach my friend richsmith0810 so I figure now is a good time to give my daily update.

Today was another great day. I'll let the graphs do the talking.

Today's graph:

Graph so far (this graph won't include the first week of the year since I played those hands at home so I don't have access to them atm):

9,211 VPP's today so far. 38,565.02 VPP's for the year.

I'm so jealous of your EV line. What does your non-showdown winnings line look like? negative, positive, breakeven?

Breakeven. I don't 3bet that much preflop so that's probably why it's not positive despite me playing a ton of hands.

Re: Attempting to break the PokerStars VPP record in 2012

Just a short day today, 5713 VPP's. I can't login to Stars to check my overall VPP count atm. Stars was down for maintenance this morning, then I played badminton, spent some more time with richsmith0810 and now Stars isn't working for me so I'm gonna call it a day.

Results were positive again CAP variance is pretty insane so I'm trying not to get too far ahead of myself, but its starting to look like this approach is a winner. For some reason PTR says I've been losing money though!

Today's graphs:

Re: Attempting to break the PokerStars VPP record in 2012

this is pretty crazy imo. You 24 table right? I think that style would be so difficult to masstable with for most people just because of how many spots end up postflop (how many extra spots you need to think about) as opposed to playing like 22/19 or whatever. Thats some pretty insane skillz you have.

Obviously you are aiming for profit pre RB but do you have any specific goals for this or are you just mainly concerned about the VPPs and anything over that is a bonus?

I've no idea what my long-term winrate is and, to be honest, anything above breakeven pre-RB is a bonus. I know I'm not gonna be able to play at 100% throughout the year so I'll just try my best and see what happens!
