Re: Attempting to break the PokerStars VPP record in 2012

there was the nanonoko challenge, which they allow him to play like 40 tables and they said that they will probably turn this option on to all members. If they do so, are u going to start playing more tables? If so, it will be pretty sick, since u will be able to do like 40K vpps a day, lol.

They didn't say that at all. They said if you're going for the record they will let you practise 40 tables for a session.

I think he meant increasing max tables, which they are expecting to introduce (as well as limiting the max tables for people that time out with too high a frequency), which was discussed during nanonoko's challenge.

I'd love to have a go at breaking his record one day but I don't think I'd play too many more tables permanently even if I was allowed. I think the current limit is optimal for my $/hr.

So impressed with your results bro. Your EVbb/100s are amazing. Obviously you are on the positive side of card distribution at the moment and those will likely come down slightly but given those numbers you will likely make A LOT of money this year.

Congrats! I'm excited to continue to follow!

Re: Attempting to break the PokerStars VPP record in 2012

I thought after 100k hands it'd be a good idea to review my new strategy. I never imagined it would be anywhere near this successful, but there's still room for improvement!

To get a better idea of what is working and what isn't I have broken my winrates down by position.

From what I've seen from a couple of people I've spoken to I'm doing exceptionally well in EP, MP, SB and BB but average from CO and BTN. Now, this may be due to the small sample sizes but I've tried to think of why this is and how to improve my CO and BTN play. I've talked over a couple of theories with richsmith0810 and without wanting to give too much away, I'm going to be making some small changes to the way I play these positions.

I'd be interested to hear from the other CAP guys about what sort of winrates are achievable from CO and BTN.

mp king, lol. Yes, I was talking about the max limit forever, not for breaking the challenge. But as you said, 24 tables are good for you, so well not see u doing 40K vpps a day, lol. GL man.

I'll probably shoot for 1.5mil this year, on holiday right now so won't be able to resume the grind until later this month.

One suggestion for you, could you perhaps talk a bit about your diet/health/exercise routine, and how this has helped maintain your focus during these massive grinds?

Cheers
