I'm still working on my discipline at the table in regards to playable hands on a consistent basis. On bad nights I'll make a call and then hear my inner voice saying that was dumb, or mentally tell myself I'm folding then all of a sudden hear my mouth say " All in" and wonder where the f*** that came from! I know a majority of it is from me trying too bulldoze through the villain but all it has been doing is lighting a fire to my chip stack, after getting frustrated when I go hours without a hand or keep losing KK to 67off when they turn trips.
Good luck with the rest of the year, you'll bink a big one soon!

Probably could be. Lemme know if you're gonna be out west at all this summer.

She has a real job in DC and plays on weekends. 2/5 main game and game select the 5/T which has been pretty awful but picking up steam lately. Gonna play 5/T in Vegas. Haven't played many tourney's lately. Gonna play like ~10 while I'm out west between bracelet events, Planet Hollywood series and daily deep stacks most likely.

Had a weight loss bet where I had to be 220lbs on 6/1/16 after being 240lbs on 4/18. We binked today:
Also wanted to share a phrase/mantra I found out about like a month ago that's really helped me in pretty much all aspects of life. Nick Saban adopted it for the Alabama Football program last season after they took a surprising loss to Ole Miss and bounced back to win the National Championship and it's super simple and awesome.
"So what, now what?"
You can pretty much ask yourself this at any moment you find yourself in, whether you're emotionally super high, super low, or somewhere in between. Just made a deep run in the tournament? So what, now what? Just got it in with a set vs top pair on the flop and he went runner runner flush for stacks? So what, now what? It's also totally applicable outside of poker. It really helps me focus on the next task ahead instead of either basking in what I just accomplished or sulking in something bad that just happened to me. Just thought I'd share it in here because I think a couple people might find it useful.
