The challenge is simple, to play 600k hands at $25nl by the end of the year. I'm doing this to build my bankroll enough to play move back up to 50nl/100nl in January and make Supernova.

For those who don't know I'm a member of poekrstars team online who was choosen for being well known as a microstakes player where I played over 1m hands at 2nl. I'm still a learning player so my results haven't been great thus far but I've recently put a tonne of work in to my game and this challenge is to help me stay motivated.

Stayed at 2NL so long because I cashed out every month and didn't like taking shots under rolled, I also liked the low stress of grinding 2nl.

I'm hoping to have atleast 150 buyins for 100nl by the end of the year but will probably move to $50 for the first few months of the year before I move to $100.

haha nah I'm not Blackrain, I remember playing him a lot when I used to grind $2nl back in the day, he was one of the better regs. Along with myself we were probably the two most well known players for grinding 1c/2c and have similar results.

How many Nl25 tables will you play as you need to make 6.5k hands a day to reach your goal and how much on rakeback/bonuspoints do you expect to make with this volume?

I used to make around 50c/100 hands, it would vary month by month, sometimes I'd make a couple of hundred, sometimes I'd make a little more, think the most I made in a month was around $800-$900 and ran below ev that month.

I'll be playing between 10-14 tables most probably, I'm aiming to make 65k vpps which will give me around 160k vpps worth just over $2500 as I'll be close to having enough points to buy the $4k bonus by then. I also get a little something as part of my contract but I'm not allowed to mention numbers.

Haven't played much past few days, I bought a new chair because my other was wasn't suitable for sitting at a computer with but the new chair didn't feel great so packed it up last night and exchanged it for a new one this morning. Just played a session in the new one and felt pretty good for should be getting in the hands over the weekend.

Think I might grind a bit of fullring to get things started, I wanted to play all 6max but I don't think it'll be feasable for me, I like to mix things up sometimes, although I'll have to grind more hands to get to supernova as the vpp rate is around 20% less.
