Very poor volume again. Traffic wasn't the best but i'm gonna have to stop using that as an excuse and just grind longer hours to make up for it. Pretty happy with the results so far.
Will be interesting to play more MTTs and see what roi is possible. Few FT/F2T spots had me a bit unsure so definitely gonna go study some ranges. Overall MTTs just seem ridiculously soft compared to sng.
Got ready for a big grind today but lobbies were super dead so ended up going to play some badminton with friends. Good fun but super tired when i got back and only managed a small grind.
Looks like we're leaving the EU! Will be interesting to see what happens apart from the £ getting rekt.
At the start of the year when you were 200 buy ins below all in EV over 5000 games how did you have the will to go on.
Yesterday I ran 30 buy ins below EV. Couldn't win a flip to save my life. You go into it knowing that there's going to be a lot of variance, but my god you can run bad

You just have to accept that variance is a part of the game and is actually why the games are profitable. Not saying it isn't hard during a downswing but as a pro player there's nothing else to do but to carry on grinding. Being confident in your game and knowing you're a winning player also helps through the green line swings. What I find harder to cope with are the red line downswings but even focusing on those is pointless in the short run.
I never had a negative red line before, but I don't play $100 Hypers against good regs
Sick monetary swings though. I guess the red line is very important in Hypers where you're all in so much.
I think cash game players probably over estimate how important it is in being a winning player. If you're getting killed in non showdown winnings the red line doesn't mean shi*t.
Can you please show some hands from time to time? Would be a nice addition imo
Keep going.

Thanks guys! I'll definitely start posting some of the more interesting hands. Been kinda inactive on here and on the tables for several days as it was my bday. No excuse really, a lot of it was just lazying around playing dota and ps4.
Time to get back into a decent routine and put in some volume although the 4k games is pretty much a fail so congrats freerollers! Hopefully the volume goal is the only one i have to pay out but not at this rate:

No matter how long you play, the red line downswings always suck. Just top of range pre and post all day. To maintain confidence during these swings I always save a lot of close hands during play and go over them after and see if I made mistakes or if it was simply run bad. Today's hands i'm pretty happy with so that's some comfort at least.
Villain is a low/midstakes reg but few hands so I've no idea how he plays. Think I would call some 5x but having the 6 rly sucks as it blocks a lot of his bluffs.
Got some heat! Nothing really of note to post, most 'interesting' spots have been ICM related rather than post flop. I did however make a bad call against some semi reg and got berated hard for it.
Need to finish the 30 days strong now and up the volume. GL all!
I'm currently experimenting with the 3.50 hypers. I have a 9% ROI over 824 games (18,817 hands). Used to play cash games. Experimenting with Sit and Gos now.
Like you my winnings are above my red line. My red line is positive, but it is concerning, because I don't know if I'm just running hot right now.
I'm thinking that maybe there is another explanation why our winnings are higher than our Red Lines.
Like at the $3.50 level obviously people make pretty stupid decisions on bubbles, so you get to make money there.
Also people call jams way too tight far from the money. Others are hopeless at Heads Up. The list goes on...
I guess I'm just hoping that I'm not running hot and that there's an explanation, as to why my green line is above my red line other than just run good.

Any challenges after this month is over?
Red line is just your EV and green line is how much you win. Probably no official challenges but i might start a new thread for rest of year.
