Cool $50 to $50,000

I will turn a $50 deposit into 50k playing HUSNGs starting at the $2 games and working my way up the ladder.

I have to be very disiplined if I want to succeed. It will not be easy because I've never had a bankroll last over 2 months, I usually tilt the roll away or flip for the rest of my bankroll hoping to double it. But Im hoping this time will be different and Ill try not to be a degen.

This should be fun

Re: $50 to $50,000

I dont know much about heads up bankroll let alone heads up hyper but I think a 25 buyin bankroll is a bit small for a game with such high variance.

Also rake is a killer at that level compared to buyins and the rakeback is poor at that small a stake.

You went broke in day 2 so maybe you should have a look at your bankroll management

Re: $50 to $50,000

I used to play a ton of HU games and the variance is huge. If you can't control tilt or use bankroll management it will be very easy to blow your entire bankroll. I never played every many hyper turbos before but the variance would be a lot greater than regular HU games. As long as you can move down in limits when a loosing happens you should do fine. But I recommend a very minimum of 50 buyins. It isn't uncommon to get on a bad run and lose 20 or 30 straight games (which would be 40% to 60% of your entire bankroll!). Discipline and BR Management are the 2 key factors to winning at heads up in my opinion.

Re: $50 to $50,000

Play 2nl untill 100 dollar bankroll at least. Its very easy to do if you are a decent player.

There are no smaller than 2 dollar games but that doesnt excuse poor bankroll management.Deposit more or play a different game to get more or unless you get very lcuky you will be broke again

Re: $50 to $50,000

since theres been some talk about BRM ill share the BRM table i came up with. basicly i use less buyins for lower stakes and gradually add buyins as the stakes increase and the edges decrease.

successful day at busto stakes!
played 79 games mostly turbos! only 25 hypers, all were at the $4s

I might play some more later on, heres what the day is at so far...

Re: $50 to $50,000

havent updated in over a week, still not busto but came very close twice. the first time i ended up playing 50nl hu cash and played awful and ended up spewing away like $200 and roll was down to $12 so i played a $11 turbo husng, won that then played a $21 reg speed husng, won that aswell so i then decided to play a 6max hyper sng ( forgot the buyin amount around 20 or 30 ) and i got 1st so after all that roll was around $90 and i went back to the grind and built it up to around $225.

then i went on another downswing and roll was at like $140 and decided to play the $109 125k grntd mtt ( sick BRM i know) and i was like 60 players away from cashing when i got AA cracked by 66 on KQ6 flop and roll was down to $30. i kinda gave up at this point and went to the PLO cash tables to try and run it up and thats exactly what i did. i went from .5/1 to 1/2 to 2/4 as soon as i had the minimum buyin so roll got back up to $260.

Then i went back to grindin husngs and am now playin the $15 hypers with some $30 reg speed shots aswell. i was playin a guy at the $15s who was constantly talkin shyt to me and he wanted to play me at the $100s so i sat and he never showed up and right before i could unregister some1 sat me and i ended up winning the match. ship it holla!!!
