Value betting here, I was hoping he had a smaller set but his play surprised me. I just thought I can't be scared of a flush or straight here, though as seen he could have!

Is the check raise too obvious here, maybe a little too big a bet? Was the turn bet really value or do we just not care what he might have and just call it a bad beat if QQ?
Current Bankroll: $114.83
Was speaking to someone about when to move up, they reckon now.
But I feel I still have a lot to learn and I want to do it cheaply. Plus in the past I am probably down $140 at this level! Though it was mostly recreational or extreme tilt, not caring about money etc. This is the best and most disciplined I have been at 2NL.
Since the forums were down I managed to make a bit more at 2NL and thought I'd take a shot at 5NL.
Everything was going ok until I played 9 tables trying to have a chance at the 80 billion hand celebration on PokerStars.
The amount of bad beats I took in about ten minutes just tilted me and within 20 minutes I had lost my whole roll!
Why do I never learn? lol
So back at 2NL with 20 buy ins, going to try 6 Max and move up when I have $100 again.
Some things I noticed I done wrong, playing at 6AM GMT for hours was stupid as it was full of regs and nits, I just wanted to treat it like a job and put the volume in.
Think I will focus on playing at weekend evenings mostly.
I know for sure one thing though, I would not have tilted like that if I was playing higher stakes. I went all in every table over and over on tilt but $5 per table and a total of $100 doesn't bother me at all, not that I am rich obviously but it's not even a buy in at what I play live.
If I was playing higher stakes I wouldn't go all in on 9 tables as that would be a few thousand dollars.
The downside is I know I'd get crushed at higher limits lol.
Not been playing 2NL as much recently as I have been playing some S&G's/tournaments and a bunch live and just casual cash online at whatever limit I wanted.
Getting back on track with this though I had a few more wins and my roll is at $51.
Goals now are:
Play 3 hours a day at 2NL
Move up when hit $100 (again)
Play no more than 2 tables, I have heard people say it will take forever just do 12 tables etc but it's clearly effecting my game when doing mass multi tabling.
Finally post at least 2 hands per day either here or in a relevant forum.
I reraised from small blind just because he limped and was playing bad so tried to steal or get a good flop.
Good flop but can't help but think he was bluffing the turn? A4s or 88, 45 are the only real hands he could have here no? Ran on Pokerstove and if he did have a hand I was a massive dog to get my flush so should have folded there.

Biggest loss of the session, the lowest I think in ages was this hand, and probably could have lost less if I never called the turn here PokerStars - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

My biggest advice for you is to fix the tilt problems now. If you're playing 5nl and tilt because you don't care about the money, then if you play 100nl you'll either tilt because you don't care about the money or not be able to win or be very stressed because you do care about the money.

I suppose if using proper bankroll then eventually you won't care about it so you may be right? I am trying to stop it. Still trying to figure out what causes it to get so bad.
However just now in this session I have not tilted at all.
Maybe it's being a bad player? I mean maybe sometimes I'm over committing to a pot or hand when the only people calling have you beat and then realising it's either a stupid move or getting upset without.
That last sentence doesn't look liek it made much sense
I think what I'm noticing now online and live is I can fold a lot easier now and get out early without doing too much damage to my stack so I'm only losing a few bb here and there and winning enough cbets and value betting made hands to make up for it.
Even though I'm playing 2NL right now I'm on 2 tables so not much room for to take a lot of bad beats at the same time either.
Yeah, there's no need to get upset about anything. If you make a bad play you can learn from it and fix your leaks and if you shouldn't be mad about running bad since it's completely out of your control. It's just something that had a chance of happening happened. Being a little more indifferent about things outside of your control will probably make you not only a better poker player but happier in general.

Another hand, think maybe pre I should raise? Raise flop also? Villian I put on a flush draw as I have seen him do this before. Think I should have raised the river.
The biggest pot I lost of the session was a minimal one again so that's good. PokerStars - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players Hand converted by PokerTracker 3
