You shouldnt play poker in exam period

^^ in my life all there is is poker + school tbh, as sad as it sounds... i have plenty of time on my hands to do both even in exam period... im not doing engineering or studying to be a doctor here, std business degree & im doing international marketting & management & p.o.m(only semi difficult course) so if i get 20-24hrs of studying for each exam im golden i normally get half of that & get B's so yea

my first 2k hands down in my no looking@ cashier/hud routine, will be doing this for 35k hands(9days).... more or less mistake free, a few bet sizing errors here & there, no clue about my profit/loss, i loss a all in at the very end of my session though which sucked haha middle set vs top set ehh std i guess...

like an idiot i mistakenly clicked "cashier" to check how much tables i was on by seeing amount in play & saw my roll grr....

anyways so 7k hands since tuesday & +$55, i swear i play like 100x better when i dont second guess my decisions and strategy and worry about my bankroll or money/loss or individual hands loss!!.. i so thought i was down in like every session except 1 out of 6 total & yet i was only down $ in 1 of them in reality, when i just focus on making the best plays instead of anything else i do so well & this is the third time ive tried not looking@cashier/hud for a short period and it always goes well... i need to do this more often & i will continue with my original plan of not looking@ it AGAIN until the 21st & hopefully by then im rolled for 25nl or close to it

Looks like you are keeping it in balance, although I think you need to incorporate an extra half hour/hour or exercise time. I'm guessing you have access to the university gym?

^^ sorry to hear about black friday man, it has made the games less fishy so we all miss you americans!! haha.. hopefully dwan, ivey etc come together & form a u.s site or poker becomes legal over there so pstars & ftp can re-enter the market, although im sure they would be stepping on egg shells if they ever come back


& nah i have a home gym.. i only really workout for 30mins & lift 2days a week & do cardio shadow boxing/bag work the other days... just wana keep in shape for now, eating 6x daily & lifting heavy to put on mass is too stressful right now so just wana maintain my size pretty much so i switched to circuit routines instead


br= $316... pretty much break even month... if i just stayed at 10nl until i properly rolled i probably would be rolled with 20-25 buy ins for 25nl but yea ehh... will continue to 16 table 10nl for the rest of the month... dont think ill even come close to making it to 200nl by end of may but ill try hard to go as far as i can pretty much & be disciplined with brm instead of taking shots, cause 3 buy ins is just so soo easy to lose

Just put in a 15 hour live session and won some good moneys =) love live but miss online terribly, variance sucks for my small BR but IF i can run decent for a month straight I will have a lot more money then I did online, its just not as steady

anybody else have those frustrating sessions where its like you lose every pot?... everytime you have medium pairs you end up flopping 2nd & 3rd pairs & it being multi way and either get donked when your ip and call flop and fold turn or are oop and check and have the ip guy bet & steal ehh... lost two 70/30's & only won 2 all ins in 2k hands & i pretty much had 100bb on like 12 out of 16 tables, couldn't even steal a pot ehh

dont know my br but i dont even wana look at my cashier, disgusting session!!... study time now..

Seems to happen to me on a regular basis tbh, either that or your getting 3bet like every hand but no use in getting frustrated as that helps nothing.. just gotta keep on going pluggin away..

Whats your overall winrate at 10nl if you dont mind me asking?

^^ well since march over 66k hands it is 3.5bb/100 but im not sure what it is for 100bb stack i have to double check when i allow myself to check my hud in a week from now, & i say that cause i played that sample with both medium(40-60bb) stacks & full stacked

tbh i was crushing right up until black friday which is whats even more depressing, had like a 10bb/100 winrate going over maybe 12k hands or so & then games just got umm iono, a mixture of me running bad & people not getting it in as light as they were b4 black friday ehh... still very beatable though as alot of fish are there but i cant fathom why im not beating it the way i know i can considering the player pool...
