2k profit for December playing $30 HUSNG - Poker Blogs and Goals -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

At the start of last month I begun to rebuild my roll from scratch playing HUSNG's. Before this time I had only played a few HUSNG's.
After about 2 months I had turned my $50 deposit into $1500. Thread here:

This thread is here to keep track of my progress throughout Dec.

At the moment my roll stands at $2700(was at 3k three days ago, downswing), and I hope to get to $5k by 2011. Includes bonuses.
Although this woudnt be very diffucult if I could get volume in, I am working 50-60 hours per week. I estimate 500-600 SNGs should get me close, so I am aiming for 150 games a week and adjust as nessesary.

Day 5:
SNG: 57 played, $509 profit. A few $50's in there.
Cash: 300 hands, $290 profit

Total profit for month to date: $799

Day 15:
SNG: 229 played, $961 profit.
Cash: -$36.50. Tilted away a few hundred dollars worth of profit in one session. For some reason HU cash can put me on real bad tilt. Will try and not to play cash this month.

Total profit for month to date: $924.50

Looking good to complete this, just gotta get in similar volume and not run terribly.

Im trying to get $1k on $20 and $30 in december but ive been to busy to grind, and im only up like $150 so far in a few days played.

I know what you mean by being busy. Ive somehow found myself working 6.30 am to 6pm mon through to friday and also sat mornings.... I find just setting aside time each day where unless something really urgent comes up, you have to play poker is the only way I can get volume in. Otherwise I probably would only play on Sundays.. Get in the volume and you will start running better.

Slacking on volume, had no time to play. Got all day today and tommorrow off so ill try and get in some games. Unless I hit god mode I dont know if I can hit $2k. But at least my graph is heading in the right direction.....

one. which is wierd because when i played cash full ring i comfortably 24 tabled, but i am seriously -ev playing more than one table HUSNG's

pretty standard downswing, got stuck on the wrong end of a bunch of coolers, lost flips etc. Ive got about 1/2 of it back but still 2k is going to be hard considering i only really have 1 maybe two more days to play
