What SNGs do you normally play? $12, $26 turbos or $5.50/$11/$33/$55 9-max reg speeds?

And what is your normal MTT schedule consist of?

Looking at your buyins, if you run decent (33% ROI) in these, you should be able to get in 75k in buyins (25k profit) from MTTs and SNGs by playing 300 sessions. I haven't counted cash, so I think 25k is very attainable.

work 50 hours a week in sales so this is a part time gig..

300 sessions might be a bit much bit I have been grinding SNGs and cash so it should be attainable I hope. cash is a lot more enjoyable than MTT so I hope to be able to beat cash comfortably.

Just finished up a pretty ho hum session,bricked all my MTT so -$132 there, but won a bit in sng and in cash so plus +$25 overall...kind of drained not super in the mood to fight tonight.. came back from 800 chips on bubble of my $26 SNG to win so lucky to book the baby win really.

and I tempted fate for too long, went back when I wasn't in the mood, and was impatient and lost a bunch very quickly. -$287 overall. was feeling miserable and not in the mood and just played because bored.

Just take the lump and move on.. come back tomorrow and win back every penny and hit a new peak.... the numb sick feeling of losing is something that everyone who has ever played poker experience. how you channel those emotions is what separates pros from serious hobbyists.

What type is sales are you in?

I wholesale vaporizers..... not bad really as far as jobs go.... dealing in 420ish inductry, so can let your guard down and stay high and relaxed somewhat, and money not bad prolly somewhere between 60-100k a year depending on the months and tbl image ....., upticking there at least this week

Have lost track of games played and results but the account is-$1400 from peak.... really only fun recording it like fiend when you are cutting them up... but I will gather results soon enough I guess..

Played awful Tuesday and the chasing losses back at 10/20 for once failed to materialize... ran account from $1620 down to $133. so Minus $1500 ish night

Wed came back and grinded MTT with my last $133 and ran great in all of them early..but busted out all of them just outside the real money in pretty painful fashion... 8th in $44 plo8 for $130 when K2DD<A4DD on JD10D972D... where I lead turn and bet/called river where I really should have bet fold because they always ****ing have it there...

Then came the $33 Plo where I floated all tourney to final tbl with $1243 up top and got 5th for $330 which was niceiin theory, but real money jumps were next two spots so 5th is a bit gutting when you are envisioning chasing back that loss all at once.... was getting bit unlucky there... was kind of in ICM jail w big pay jumps and extreme short stack and Lags w all the chips to my direct left.... ladder was broken and shorties kept wiining and finally made my stand w KK58 in close spot and lost the all in and GG...

capper got 9th in $16.5 Plo for $34 w $450 up top first hand of final tbl come in 3/9.... open AA92 for pot.. I check back KJ2Rainbow flop, and go broke vs chip leader on 2 turn to JJ.... where he leads and call my jam... cooler kind of but turbo and once you open 3.5X w AA92, you can't ever fold really so just tilting run out.....

So had account up to $500ish, but have been dusting off money battling the $20-$30 HU plo8 streets... and played $100 worth of MTT today like the money was on fire.. so machine is down to $240..

writing it out helps me think big picture..... a big part of me wants to take the $240 that is left and spread it out on the NBA.. but have done that and inevitable result isn't good.... I don't do moderation very well in general so staying away is best there...

Overall I am still +$2300 Ish.. haven't redeposited or burned through multiple redposits.. so big picture I am doing good.

also big picture, if I want to come in and play 5/10-30/60 O8 and play without fear ... and not have to beg for anything, I need a lot of Money behind and impeccable emotional control.. I have neither right now...... but at least $2300USD more than I did a few weeks ago.

Now take the $240 and run it back up, but do it right way, don't hit and run cash games... if I have edge play forever but if I am the spot don't post ever...

Back to hiding in O8 MTT/6 max sng streets... will report after exactly 100 Games played.

nice sexy update here.. went back into the hole and deposited $100 and played MTT/SNG with no cash for the last two weeks

Long story short, 132 Games, +$1751... so we are at our peak

I am going to stop obsessively updating.. its not healthy.... proud of myself.. just played MTT mainly and didn't hit and run cash games...

also my tilt and control and mental aspect of the game is getting much stronger.....

am able to shrug off beats and just take them in stride... almost relieved if I play the hand well and lose.. much better than making a mistake..

got 8th in $44 plo8 for $130, 2nd in $22 Nlo8 for $200 and capped off with scoopong $22 nightly for $474.....

winning money is nice of course, but important to remembber you are never as good as you think you are when deck is on your side.... take losing with equanimity... you are the hunter.. don't ever ****ing give in ever and allow yourself to be the hunted... it will end with your hand out.

Been awhile since I updated, had Parents in town so was entertaining them... grinded occasionally but lost $700 from peak very quickly... battled back tonight and won $740 including $22 nightly Plo8 for $456 so we are at our new peak

played well in the MTT came into final tbl 5/9 with below average stack and just picked my spots and got to HU outchipped2-1 but he let me play small pots and pick him apart then i gambled and on a 40-60.... when I had hi covered and got there FTW.

starting to adjust to the swings a bit better, wasn't terribly upset at being down $700..... knew I was playing okay and would get it back if I did the right thing.. haven't bet the NBA in almost 5 weeks now..good feeling, have paid rent through May... money on the Machine... better things happen when I control my own destiny.

lost the $700 back playing 10/20 Limit 08 and trying to run them over... I have to stop playing games so underrolled, I just over adjust and spew it away.

Rage cashed out $1377, so I have nothing left on the machine, but up $1277 from this foray...

so +$3333 overall..

will put another $300 or so(fish for eating Bank Transaction fees.. but getting money off machine in frenzy is much higher priority

Seems like I am a much better MTT/SNG Player than limit cash player... gambling is fun but have to attack it rationally.

run it up to $10,000 playing Plo8 MTT/SNG.. no other poker, that means if you are stuck $136 from a night of MTT, suck it up,don't play cash to get unstuck... keep your eye on the prize.

goal is to complete in 2500 games $4 per game.. every game, which don't give away a dime ever, and be prepared to break even for 200-300 game stretches... only allowed to cash out when the 2500 games are over.
